That's the price if you don't have the loyalty card and, thus, don't get the discount. The sticker then went on to show the "price with card," i.e., the discounted price, i.e. the 20% off price. And that unit price showed as $20.69/lb. That's a discount, yes, but it's not a 20% discount. To simplify, let's say the un-discounted unit price was $25/lb (a penny more than the actual un-discounted price). What's 20% of $25? Five dollars. So the discounted price with loyalty card should have been $20/lb. Another sign at the kiosk advertised 20% off Murray's Aged Manchego. Same problem: Fred's system didn't calculate the 20% correctly. The un-discounted unit price was $26.99/lb., but the same sticker showed the price with card to be $23.59/lb. Twenty percent off $26.99 is $21.59, not $23.59. So, I was being charged $2 more per pound than the advertised price on the sign right there at the kiosk. The nice young woman at the cheese kiosk seemed to understand what I explained to her in person, but she said she couldn't change the pricing; all the cheese sales staff does is weigh the portions and their system spits out a label. So I spoke in person to the man at the customer service counter, who also told me he couldn't change the pricing system and he didn't think anyone else in the store could, either. He noted that the PLU number on the sign didn't match the PLU on the sticker affixed to the hunk of cheese. I phoned and spoke with a grocery manager who did not listen, tried to say I misunderstood, then hung up on me. Then I phoned the 800 number and, once I got past the automated answering system and spoke to a person, she listened, seemed to understand, and said she'd pursue it. Bottom line for you, other Freddie's patrons, is: Check the math on the advertised discount. Make sure that the discount shown on the label agrees with the advertised discount.

It looks like it has been out of order for a very long time. As you look around the outside of the station it is dirty and the fuel pumps need servicing. To try and get some assistance from the employees on where another dump station might be in the area, we were met with " Yeah, that way (pointing toward Anchorage), it's called Anchorage!" Another quote was "Can't you read the sign!!" The management of this station in regard to functioning services, stock, and cleanliness and employee treatment of customers is nonexistent and has been so for an extended period. Recommend you find another location for fuel and services because you will not know what is available and what is not.

I came down here earlier on a whim to pick up some groceries. I'm glad I did. Costco Business Center is located off of N. Muldoon in the former Sam's Club warehouse next to the Glenn Highway and the Elmendorf gate. This location was meant to accommodate local businesses in the area for supplies, but this location is just as good for regular members when going grocery shopping. The big takeaway is the stark contrast of the crowd of shoppers compared to the other locations. The crowds are much lighter and the checkout lines are a lot shorter, yes this is Costco we're talking about. When I hear the name Costco, I usually think of the great deals they have on a wide variety of items, but I also associate chaos and confusion every time I go into one. I can actually navigate the aisles and go around the store at my own pace instead of rushing to pick up what I need and standing in long lines for several minutes when checking out. I found plenty of items on sale and at lower prices compared to the regular grocery stores nearby. The number of items I purchased are too numerous to mention in this review, but a few of them definitely stand out for the price. On this trip, I found a 2.5lb canister of Virginia extra-large Peanuts for only $7.99, a 4-pack of Lysol Antibacterial Wipes for $11.49 (a pack of 2 costs $18.99 at Carrs so this was one of the best deals you can find) a 32 oz. tub of Golden Irish Spreadable Butter imported from Ireland for $11.99, and a box of Burnt Ends Smoked and Seasoned Beef Brisket 1.60lbs. for $23.50 (I was ecstatic to find this as I mentioned in previous reviews that most BBQ places in Anchorage don't have this on the menu). There was only a two-minute wait for checking out at the registers on a Sunday afternoon compared to 10 or 20 minutes at the Debarr location around the same time. The downsides to this location is no Food Court at the front, although I suspect this was meant to keep crowds under control during peak busy times. Smart move, but it's still nice to get a cheap slice of pizza or a hotdog on the way out. There's also no eyeglass store, auto shop, clothing, furniture, electronics, or jewelry at this location, but I'm happy with just a regular grocery run at large quantities and affordable prices. With a slower pace compared to the other stores, it is much easier for employees to stop what they are doing and take the time to help you find an item in the warehouse. Parking has to be the best of the three locations, there was no difficulty finding an available spot not far from the entrance. Despite the omissions of products not found here, I find the simplicity of grocery shopping in a large warehouse with relative ease a nice change of pace.

The staff inside the store were EXTREMELY friendly. I have seen some negative posts about religion which I do not understand. Not once did I encounter anyone trying to push religion down my throat, nor did I notice an inappropriate amount of bibles laying around. Also, who cares? You don't have to read the bible in the bathroom just because it's there. I would highly recommend staying at Grizzly Ridge! If you have a bathroom//toilet in your RV, it might be best for you to use it, or pop to the ones next door at the Dirty Skillet which are magnificent. We've stayed here twice now, and whilst the bathroom is functional, (the toilet does flush, and you can wash your hands in cold water) the door currently won't lock, because it won't actually shut fully. It's not the cleanest bathroom I've used either. I had to get my husband to stand guard at the door, as I needed to be in there a while (if you catch my drift) The best things about this RV/Camp Site, are the store, and the Dirty Skillet, just on the other side of the fence. The store provides all your grocery and liquor needs, and Dirty Skillet is a an excellent restaurant. $37 per night for RV spots and $27 for camping spots.

They acknowledge I was charged $74.73, they won't tell me how much more I owe, and they're asking permission to charge me more. Even my email with my receipt says the final amount was $74.73.
