I highly recommend Crown Construction. I found their team very professional and straight forward with all my concerns about the process. We talked extensively in detail about the project the costs, product estimates and timelines for what I wanted to accomplish with my remodel. Nothing wasn't discussed right down to the outlet covers. There were not surprises as to the overall cost of the project. Additionally, I did not feel pressured to expand my project past my budget. I brought Crown on to do an extensive remodel/reconstruction of a barn that had been remodeled into a home circa 1990s. They completely rebuilt the floors, kitchen, bathroom and added a half bath. The rest of the existing space, the team re-drywalled, painted and repaired the existing exposed beams. They installed new windows and replaced and updated the existing old damaged ones. The team re -designed the entry way with a walk-in closet and custom shelving. It was a very extensive process. I thought they did a beautiful job and could not be happier with the end result. I plan to use them again for any of my future projects. Please do not hire. I hired them to do a couple simple jobs. First, they didn't show up when they said they were going to, second, they changed things without consulting me. I had them replace a roof on our gazebo and wound up with 3 inch nails sticking through the ceiling. They didn't explain that this would be the case and now the ceiling in the gazebo is ruined, and some of the wood is split. If I had known this was going to be the case, I would not have had the roof replaced. read more

We have had several projects around our home over the last few years. Contractors are typically unpredictable and generally unreliable; however we had a fabulous experience with Crown. From the initial consultation through the entire project, they kept tabs on things and insured our satisfaction. It is a year later after we added an addition to our home and minor issues are still being resolved with the same energy as the original project. We were so happy we hired them for an additional project last summer. What makes them outstanding I believe is that their employees are employed full-time and really care about what they do. I had given Crown Construction a review in August of 2022. at that time the work was completed to my satisfaction. I would like to update my review - Crown Construction does not fulfill their contract obligations. even though the work was completed - there was a clause in the contract that stated if I left a positive review after the work was completed I would receive a check for $25.00. as of today's date (10-31-2022) I have not received my check. I did complete a paper survey and requested the check be sent. that was totally ignored. I also sent an e-mail and was told the e-mail would be forwarded to the proper person. that seems to also have been ignored. I will think twice before I use Crown again. they do good work but if they don't honor their contract I will not use them. read more

Complete renovation of kitchen, family room, and laundry room/garage entry area. Huge project, but completed beautifully. Design was solid, and the actual work, while long and arduous, was completed in a courteous and professional manner. Foreman Brian Callahan excelled at problem-solving and troubleshooting throughout the project (for those issues that inevitably arose), and offered suggestions where indicated. Disappointment with estimation process. The salesman repeatedly got mixed up regarding the details of my job and my desired time line. I had to go over the details several time - but there were still misunderstandings. The first price provided by phone was $6, 000, the next day the written contract said the price was $13, 200. Then I was told the real price was $10, 500 (perhaps an addition error?). I was confused and wary of any further business because of this. Also beware - - Crown Inc will agree to provide a free estimate, but then try to sell you a $200 3D model as part of your estimate. I paid for this model but nothing was provided. read more

My parents kitchen needed some serious help. It was about 40 years old, blessed by the 70s and crumbling! Crown construction made the process so easy! It was so much fun to pick out the fixtures and finishes in their showroom and the team had a lot of recommendations to help make the kitchen more functional for my parents who are older. We did have to book our renovation a couple of months in advance because they were busy when we decided to pull the trigger so just a heads up! But when the time came they were actually able to start a week earlier than they had predicted. The bulk of the work took about 1 week and then they set up temporary countertops and a temporary sink so we could actually use the kitchen which was so great! It was about 3 weeks for the whole thing to be finished and it looks STUNNING. The crew was really professional and clean. They were really quick to respond to any questions or changes we had. I've had two projects designed and completed through Crown Construction. I was completely pleased and satisfied each time. The first project was a bathroom rehab. It went so well and came out beautifully. I then hired them to install a new picture window and front door, which is such an improvement to my home inside and out. They took their time exploring possible design aspects for both projects, and together we came up with the final product. They are expert in what they do from beginning to end. Dependable and communicative. On time to arrive when they say, on schedule, and within budget. What more could a customer ask? read more

Very professional from the sales person through the final job completion. Crown does so much work, it is hard to say what you will get, but the guy who did our project was very good and nice to have around to boot. We hired them after I had been working on a landscaping job while they did a neighboring roof and I liked the spirit of that crew. They were a little late getting started and I suspect they over book, but they still got to the job earlier than anyone else said they would and they were very good about advising us on how much they could do without a county inspection, a major factor in our project. I hired Crown to replace two doors, reinstall one of them where no opening existed, remove an old skylight, and replace two bathroom exhaust fans and re-duct them to the outside. All in all, about $9,000. worth of work, including materials. They did a great job with the doors. The new doors were high quality, and the workmanship installing them was great. The re-used door was repaired (by me) and installed by Crown. Again, very satisfactorily. The skylight and particularly bathroom fan work was less than adequate. For bathroom fans our contract said "high quality, high CFM, low noise" fans. We got off-the-shelf, Home Depot NuTone fans. Loud off-the-shelf, Home Depot NuTone fans. Upon completion, I complained but received no satisfaction from Crown. I didn't specify a make and model in the contract, so live and learn I guess. We did like our job foreman very much, and I suspect that the good work that Crown did was because of him. In the end though, I'll never hire them again. read more

We've had Crown do several projects at our home - including a complete kitchen, a complete bathroom, and siding. They are amazingly flexible with work schedule and working with us to keep costs down. Their staff are completely trustworthy and we've never had any qualms about giving them complete access to our home. We have an older farm house where nothing is straight or level - but to look at our kitchen and bath now, you'd never know it. We would highly recommend them. read more
