My parents are buried there in the Masonic section of the park. The grass is normally 7 to 9 inches long. If they have mowed, there is a deposit of cut grass on the flat stone markers making it difficult to even find the graves that you are looking for. In the past the markers had sunk three to five inches and we had to get the groundskeeper to help us raise the marker. We also had the brass flower holders stolen several years ago . Fortunately we were able to replace them. My brothers and I are considering having our parents moved to another cemetery. read more

There are definitely issues with the maintenance of Crown Hill, but I would have to say that they are easily reachable by telephone and are quite accommodating in helping people find the graves they are searching for. I was offered assistance within a day and treated with courtesy. It has such potential for becoming a beautiful place, but it suffers, from what I hear, with financial support. Since it's run by a non-profit, it might be worth investigating how the situation could be improved by those who would like to work with that non-profit. read more

We visited this cemetary today looking for a grave of a neighbors family member. This cemetary is poorly kept, grave markers have disappeared, and even the mausoleums are crumbling in on themselves. This is shameful for a place of rest. I surely wouldn't want to bury my loved one there. read more

I couldn't find my great aunt and uncle's gravestones. I knew where they were but thought maybe I was wrong. I went to the office and he took the time to get an exact location and took me to their gravesite. The stones had sunken down where they couldn't be seen. He removed the top ground over the stones and brushed them off. They looked beautiful. We came a long way and were so impressed that they took the time with us for older graves. 5 star! read more

Beautiful views and it was impressive in its past., however, in more recent years it has fallen into disrepair and most if not all of the monuments including the tower are crumbling and falling apart. The grass is consistantly long , there are many dead trees and it is becoming a safety hazzard. People need to get together to make sure something is done about the condition of the cemetery. Crown Hill is a huge disappointment. My family was buried twice, once at the funeral and a second time by the infringing grass. I spent hours searching for and digging out the graves of my family members, though I was unable to find one. The office has no posted hours and I cannot reach anyone to find it. read more
