Yelp has this at the wrong location. It is on the junction of Crown road and St Leonard's St on the village green. Great food. Every time I go there I am pleasantly surprised. Great service. read more

I can't recommend it highly enough, a real gem.

The atmosphere is just right, not too stuffy but does have class. I'd definitely would go again whenever I'm back visiting.

I have to give White Heart a 3 star review. Their food deserves a two star but their night life on…read morea Friday and Saturday night deserves a four. We recently ate there for dinner. Was far from impressed. Food took over 1.5 hours to be served to us and food quality and quantity is very overpriced along with their drinks and beers. I ordered the chicken, bacon, tomato, brie, potato salad. The tomatoes were char-grilled to the point to where they were blackened. They were not edible. I did pancreatic cancer research at the number one cancer hospital in the world and understand the highest risks for pancreatic cancer, the main risk being chargrilled food. White Heart took a meal that could have been healthy and made it highly toxic. I wrote them a note on the receipt that their tomatoes were highly toxic and can give their customers cancer if they ate them. No competent chef on purpose would turn a normal healthy staple into something toxic. Please review your menu and your cooking practices. My husband had the fish fillet sandwich, it had many bones in it. He was not happy. Their Halloumi cheese starter is a joke. You get tiny slices of Halloumi cheese and it's very salty. Another ruined dish. The fish cakes were good but there were only 3 for what you paid. I paid close to 8 quid for two pints. Much too expensive. Don't go here for dinner. Weatherspoons you can get two epic meals and 4 pints for 20 quid. We spent 47 quid on 2 tiny meals, two starters and 3 pints and one cocktail. White Heart is only good for a night out. We also had a very difficult time finding a clean table. It wasn't busy so I can't understand why the tables were not cleaned. We resorted to a not as dirty dirty table we still sat and ate at someone else's filth which was pretty nasty. White Heart step up your game and fix your menu it's only bc I love your night life on Friday and Saturday night that I didn't give you a lower rating even if your DJs don't actually spin but use Torqs which gives the 'appearance' that they are spinning vinyl but real DJs like myself know they are not!
