Had a late flight into Birmingham and needed transportation to Tuscaloosa. I was scheduled for a ride with Xavier. The flight supposed to arrive around 11 pm but was delayed and delayed and delayed. I was in constant communication with Xavier and he had infinite patience. I didn't get out of the Birmingham airport until 1:30 am but he was ready for me and took me straight to my hotel in Tuscaloosa. He seemed like a really interesting person with lots of stories to tell; normally I would have had a conversation with him but I needed to get some sleep because I had early morning appointments in Tuscaloosa. Paid for a private car and driver to BHM from UA...booked 2 months in advance. $170 one-way(great!). Was informed at that point that our daughter may have to share the ride with someONE else(as it was a busy finals week), and if that happened the rate would be less(awesome). Daughter was contacted the day before her pick-up and told if she wasn't prompt she'd be left (no problem). Was picked up 4 hours before her flight was to leave(3:35 before boarding began..perfect!). One hour and twenty-seven minutes later she was still in Tuscaloosa picking up seven other passengers. We understood the possibility existed it could be a ride-share with someONE else. This led us to believe it could be two parties total, one other and our daughter. The dictionary defines 'someone' as singular, not plural. Lesson learned, we'll make sure to have all potential scenarios understood in the future. Made it to flight on-time, but disappointing experience. The first time I had a flight time incorrect and was scrambling to find a ride for my Bama son. Crown was able to schedule him just a day or two ahead. Absolutely perfect in every way! I was in Tuscaloosa dropping off my daughter at UA and needed a ride to the Birmingham airport. I saw the great reviews on Google & Yelp and decided this was the way to go....plus if everything went well, I knew I had found a company I could use for my daughter during breaks. Needless to say, I've found my ride! I called to book my ride and it was completely painless. I got an email from the company the day prior, confirming my reservation and giving me the name of my driver. Greg arrived about 5 minuets early and he was awesome! Crown did an amazing job on Friday getting our son to the airport from UA. His flight kept changing and was even cancelled at one point. After many phone calls, they got my son a spot in a van to get to the airport in time for his flight! I booked months ago, but then the flight kept changing. The service was high quality all around. I received a text on Friday from Crown with my driver's name and phone number in it. Yesterday he arrived early and texted that he was outside but that there was no rush. The Lincoln SUV was clean and comfortable and the driver was an excellent driver. Crown Limo is a wonderful company and the staff is incredibly helpful! My daughter's flight was delayed 4 hrs and not due to arrive into Birmingham until 11:30 pm. With any other company I would have been worried but I knew that Crown Limo would be there! I left a voicemail for Tammie and she immediately texted back to say they were following the flight changes and not to worry. Ed was there right away when my daughter's flight landed and he was ready to go once she got her luggage. No worries about her being alone in the airport so late at night. We planned a last minute trip home for my daughter, less than 24 hours away. I was unable to arrange transportation due to the late hour and called the next morning. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone couldn't have been kinder. 7 hours later, pick up was on time and in a clean car with a kind driver. The trip home was a bit nerve wracking due to repeated flight delays. Crowne kept in touch with my daughter via text and despite landing 2 1/2 hours late (at 11pm) they were there to meet my daughter and deliver my daughter home safely.
