I've been to many Officeworks stores around Sydney and unfortunately have found many of the customer service staff working on the floor here being quite unhelpful, unprofessional and ignorant. They hardly come to customers even though they're doing nothing. Even if a staff is busy with something other than serving a customer, they must approach to the new customer immediately to assist by leaving all other things aside. I often struggled to get hold of someone even though the store hardly had any customers at that time. Some of them were even quite rude as they were asked for assistance. After walking through the door a lady came down and simply asked "Yes". I said I wanted to have a browse. She looked me up and down in what was the most disgusting look I can ever remember and then said "So"? She then said "I can't leave you alone in the shop" At that point I just walked out Terrible experience and I can guarantee I will not be going in your shop again or giving you any business. It's beautiful quality work, not mass production. Besides that, the service is very great even funny and light, but most importantly the right artistic frame makes any painting or picture even better. If she looked up and down that guy I wonder if he was a builder of some sort just coming from work in dirty cloth. As it is a small shop with beautiful art work I wouldn't like that in my shop either. I am very happy with the service and more so with with quality of the art work.

It's certainly got everything a film…read morelover needs, from film (including some scarce ones, though nothing unique in spite of the owner's claims), to cameras (great selection of several formats, many nicely restored), and even processing chemicals and equipment (albeit pricier than some such as Rewind Photo Lab in Glebe). The store's downfall is that all these treasures hide behind abrasive customer service. Whether you're being rushed, told (not asked) to move, or belittled for trying to ask questions (wouldn't recommend for an amateur without someone experienced accompanying you to ask questions for you), both regular staff members (owners I presume) are relatively standoffish and don't really make the store the pleasant place it could be. If you need film, check online or go elsewhere, there are plenty of choices in Sydney with similar prices and more helpful staff. If you're looking for cameras, harder to find stuff, or are an expert in the area, this shop is better tailored to you.

It is not a one hour place nor a pro lab but they get the job done. The shop is done like an old school camera store, worth a visit.
