This is the worst experience I have ever had with any company. It is absolutely mind-boggling that CRST operates like this. I ordered a microwave from Lowe's on November 8th. CRST was assigned to handle the delivery, and after two scheduled delivery attempts, I still do not have my product and the explanations I was given were blatantly dishonest. On the first attempt, CRST claimed they went to the wrong Lowe's store to pick up the item and said the product 'wasn't there.' This is impossible, because the correct pickup location is fixed in Lowe's system and clearly listed on the order. The microwave was still sitting in the correct Lowe's store the entire time. On the second attempt, they simply did not show up. When I called them, they first claimed I cancelled the delivery, which was completely false. When I pushed back, their story suddenly changed and they said the item had been delivered and left at my front door. That was another lie. Lowe's tracking showed the microwave was still in the store and had never been picked up by CRST at all. I scheduled a 3rd attempt, and am not hopeful this will make it to my house. The amount of contradiction, incompetence, and outright lying was astonishing. Because of this entire experience.. the no-shows, the false status updates, the contradictory stories, and the total lack of accountability, I will never use any company that partners with CRST for delivery. This has been the most frustrating and unacceptable service experience I've ever had. read more

Ordered a dishwasher online from Lowes that was contracted out for delivery and installation by CRST Home Solutions. Original install was supposed to be 4/29. On 4/28 I get a text from CRST that it was changed to 5/6. They were not able to get there any sooner so I changed my plans to be here on 5/6 for the install. On 5/5 I get a call from them that delivery is now on 5/7. Twice they changed it the DAY before! They cannot guarantee what time they will be here on 5/7 and I will not be told until the evening of 5/6! I have a business trip that I already rescheduled once because of them and now I cannot change again and I HAVE to leave by noon. How many times am I going to have to reschedule to be told the DAY before it supposed to be installed that it is changed again! I will never buy another appliance from Lowes. This whole experience has been a nightmare. Awful communication and no accountability. I will be going back to Home Depot in the future. Four appliances ordered-paid extra for mileage, install and haul away. So far only two are here. read more

Dalton Logistics Is nothing more than a bunch of thieves what I'm about to tel you is the truth and i have photo's phone numbers this matter has already been turned over to authorities I have to put this out there so no one else has to be robed. On June 17 I received a National Bridgestone service call to Washington MO. for a steer tire. A caller claiming to be dispatch for IMT went by the name of (Sammy) gave us all the right info including an up to date Bridgestone account # we did the tire service a new Bridgestone R-213 and a new Steel wheel to be put on a CRST Specialized Transportation truck ( this is not unusual activity and apparently she knew this ) two weeks later IMT Transportation and other involved party's let us know it was not their truck and they know nothing about so I contacted CRST after a lot of time on hold spoke to a person Courtney Gilbert she took my info and gave me her email I sent her the photos she did admit it was one of their trucks the next day 7/1/2026 she would not take my calls in fact she had the her assistant to tell me that Courtney wasn't able to speak to me and to tell that truck is operated by a owner/ lease company Dalton Logistics in Earth City MO.and that CRST was not responsible and gave me their phone number nobody answers the phones from any department you have to leave message and they will return your call no one will answer try it 800-753-3658 to my experience this is the first sign that these people are scammers and crooks i am posting the photos you decide is this the company that you want to hire to transport your belongings with do you think that CRST is responsible for the people driving their trucks CRST doesn't think so. No show/no call on delivery day. Some of the installers that they use are good, but some are clowns who do not know what they are doing. If you buy from Lowes, you get to deal with CRST, who are non-responsive. read more

As with several other negative reviews on CRST I also bought appliances from Lowe's in Papillion and it was one of the worst consumer experiences I've ever had. From the beginning it was obvious they overbooked deliveries for the truck. My initial delivery timeframe was 12:30-4:30 on a Saturday. From watching the tracking I knew there was no way they were making it by 4:30. Got a call at 3:30 stating they were behind and new timeframe for delivery was 3:30-7:30. At 6:30 I received an email that indicated delivery was almost there. When I checked tracking it indicated I was the next stop. Got to 8:00 and still no one had shown up. Called the number back that that indicated delivery would be delayed and the guy at CRST stated they didn't get through all their deliveries so had to bring everything back to the store and try a different day. Indicated someone would contact me next morning. Well I did not receive any response from Lowe's that next morning. So I called and spoke with customer service. Ended up getting to the manager and he seemed upset and indicated no one made him aware of this issue. Stated he would get it taken care of and for early delivery Monday. (I had an installation appt for one of the appliances scheduled for that Monday so needed it delivered prior) Monday comes and it's the same thing. Delays all throughout, initial timeframe was 12:30-4:30 (not first thing in the morning as store manager had indicated). Got a call at 3:30 stating it was going to be delayed again but then got another call from the actual driver at 4 indicating he was almost there. Then he didn't actually show up until 6. Due to this we had to reschedule install as well. THEN we paid for haul away of one of the old appliances and they didn't even haul it away. It's still sitting in my driveway. CRST Home Solutions is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES. I will never purchase another appliance from them because they use this horrible company. read more

NOT order a dishwasher from Lowes. They uses this horrible company that will never deliver it. In general CRST over books, then they 'say they came buy' and reschedule it for another few weeks out. This seems to be their normal practice. We ordered a dishwasher last week from Lowes in Cedar Park Texas. They scheduled a delivery over a week later with 'CRST home solutions'. They never texted and said they were coming. After they never showed up we called and they "said" they stopped by but if they really did, why didn't they ring the doorbell or txt our number for delivery? Why didn't they send out notice they were coming by? Why didn't we at least hear a truck drive by? No answer. Then they tried to re-scheduled for another 10 days out. Will never buy an appliance from Lowe's again. I've learned my lesson. CRST is a bad company. read more

This company's truck backed into brick wall at my house while they were delivering something across the street. The refused to pay for the entire amount of the repair. Do you know how hard it it is to find matching brick from a house built in 1964? I was an innocent bystander and never hired them their bad driver backed into my property! Now I have to pay out of pocket to have the repair finished AND the brick doesn't match the original. They were so hard to work with, super shady trying to avoid paying anything and I was constantly following up. Do not use this unethical company they are completely unethical company! read more

This company is not a driver driven company. They are not willing to try hard to retain drivers. They don't communicate well with drivers and treat their drivers like a piece of meat. If you have a pulse then they will hire you. Their driving school is inadequate leaving it to other drivers to teach them. For owner operators they only pay 70 percent of gross plus 97 percent of fuel surcharges. They are incapable of accommodating solo drivers. read more

After a very lengthy text exchange with Ms. Jessica Thomas (319) 313-2068 over a two week period, I was informed "...the application process is complete. The next step is scheduling a start date..." I informed her I was hoping to begin school the middle of September 2018. She responded, "alright, just let me know". I sent a text stating I was ready, but heard nothing. After a few more texts, and a phone call to her direct number, I received no response. I contacted CRST and spoke with a separate recruiter. I asked if Ms. Thomas was well? There was the possibility she'd been involved in an accident, or on maternity leave, or any number of other circumstances which would result in her silence. The recruiter, a young man who was genuinely concerned, informed me "there's been a change to your status, and it now shows 'denied'. She's in the office today", he added, so I asked if he could transfer me to Jessicas desk, and he did. However, it was the same as before, no answer, and no return call. Please keep in mind it had been over a week since Ms. Thomas and I last exchanged texts, and I was completely at a loss as to why I was denied, and the other recruiter could NOT provide me any information because he wasn't my recruiter, so what was I to do? I ended up calling CRST, Cedar Rapids, Iowa (800) 736-CRST (2778), and spoke with Molly in the HR department. She was pleasant enough, but it soon became quite apparent no notes regarding my displeasure with Ms. Jessica Thomas' lack of professionalism we're being taken, and, after I gave a full account of the manner in which Ms. Thomas handled the situation, she (Molly) didn't ask a single question, except, "is that it?" when I said "yes", she replied, "okay, thanks", then hung up. If not for still having a job, and for taking my time, I would most certainly have been in trouble. I kept thinking about others who she's done this too, and perhaps those applicants quit their jobs believing they'd be on the road to class in a week or so, then hear nothing from Ms. Thomas. For the young and inexperienced, her silence could mean big trouble, especially when you're told you'll be in class up to four weeks, then with a team member for 28 days, then you'll be provided a truck to take with you as CRST has NO central hub in the Northern Californian region, and you'll be on the road for 28-30 days, then home for 2-4 days. For a kid with not much to their name, or those with a new family, all those messages of hope count for nothing, and may be enough to have someone applying for state assistance. Needless to say, I'm Incredibly displeased with the way this was handled, and most especially with Ms. Jessica Thomas. one little message would've been enough, but she remained steadfastly silent. For those wishing to join CRST, go somewhere else, and download the Driver Pulse app. I learned of this later, but it's an app the trucking companies use, and you can track your application status, open jobs, and more with it. Lastly, study your States CDL handbook! Go take the test beforehand, and be sure you pass the physical exam. And, a friend gave me great advice, "take your HAZMAT exam when you get your CDP (CDL permit). Most schools will tell you to not worry about it, because you can get it later, but if you try going back later, you'll need to take the other tests all over again (more money for the tests), so do all you can at one time. Besides, you'll be able to make a lot more money!" read more

Not only is it an eyesore their obnoxious driver returns his truck at 4 am to wake the neighbors. My experience at CRST? They are so caught up trying to get the number up training is subpar. Spend most of your time in the class room, and when it's time to drive you get 30 minutes a day. Waiting in the cold for 8-12 hours just for 30 minutes?!? After explaining to the trainers and Curt I need more time. I am told I got all my hours. Getting the minimum hours does not equate to being prepared. Most of the hours gathered was from running around the parking lot begging the trainers to help. Feeling like a crack head looking for another hit. CRST has too many students and not enough trucks, trainers, or fuks to give. read more

I was really disappointed with my experience as a student & driver with CRST. They have a lot of potential to be a good company but they fall short at every opportunity. I worked as a independent contractor and the way I was treated as a Lease Op was like they didn't even want me to work for them. Being a new driver, I was very eager to run and to learn along the way. However, this company really seemed to stop my growth as a driver at every chance they got. Last night (10-18-22) at about 8:45 pm, a CRT semi driver harassed me as I was driving home on Interstate 81 W at the I-26 interchange in Kingsport, TN. I drive the speed limit, which is 65 mph at that point on I-81. The speed limit for trucks is 55 mph on that stretch of I-81. The I-26 and 81 interchange in Kingsport, TN is a busy, dangerous one, so I get over into the left lane because cars and trucks are exiting and coming onto 81. Traffic in the right hand lane will slow for cars exiting and entering at that interchange, and it's just safer to get over in the left-hand lane there. Last night a CRST semi came up behind me so fast I thought they would hit me. It terrified me. I was doing the 65 mph speed limit, but still passing slower traffic exiting and entering 81. I couldn't get over to let him pass, so he stayed on my bumper so close that if I'd had to brake he would have hit me. He also put his headlights on bright for the whole time he was behind me. My car mirrors automatically adjust for bright lights or I don't know if I'd been able to see to drive. He stayed so close to my back bumper until I was able to get over, honestly, I don't know how he didn't hit me and cause a wreck. Whether this driver was on drugs or is a psycho, I don't know, but either way this driver is going to hurt or kill someone. I tried twice to get the ID number on the truck, but was able to get it. I tried to contact CRST but was unable and an email sent to them bounced back as deliverable. read more

I hired a company to ship my bike. Well it turns out that company must of been a brokerage company because the company that delivered my bike was CRST Specialized Transportation. My bike showed up damaged, covered in dust and grime. It was delivered on a straight truck (furniture delivery type truck) simply strapped down to the floor. Not covered, no soft straps used. There was a pallet jack not strapped down rolling free in the back of the truck. This company has no business shipping a motorcycle. read more
