Not impressed. We stopped in to check it out. The cookies looked really good. It seems like a cute concept. I thought the cookies were overpriced. We got a molten lava and a chocolate chip. My boyfriend and I visit this place almost weekly! The staff is always so welcoming and cheery when we arrive. It's such a great concept for us cookie/sweet lovers with new flavors every week. I (almost obsessively) check their Instagram page every Sunday to see what flavors are coming up. We're moving soon and not sure what we're going to do without this place in our lives. Disclaimer: I used to own a custom baking business, so my standards are probably higher than that of the average customer. I had never heard of Crumbl, but a friend and I were having lunch at The Mongolian Grill (highly recommend!) and some kids from UTC were having a birthday party. Someone brought in some bright pink boxes full of HUGE cookies that looked absolutely wonderful, so we asked where they got them and then headed to Crumbl for dessert. There are six flavors offered at any time: sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies are always available, and there's a rotation of four different others which changes weekly. I purchased two coconut lime (a combination which I love), an oatmeal chocolate chip, and a sugar cookie. First, the oatmeal chocolate chip. Wonderful! It was soft and full of big chunks of chocolate; I'd be proud to sell something like that myself. Five stars on this one! The coconut lime cookies had a slice of fresh lime on top; you can squeeze it over the cookie to cut the sweetness of the frosting. The cookie itself was soft and cake-like, and quite good, but there wasn't even a discernible hint of coconut - my friend, who also purchased one, concurred. Personally, I'd have put some coconut atop the frosting, and in fact am now experimenting with coconut lime cookies at home Three stars on this one. Now we come to the sugar cookie. If you want to know how it tastes, get yourself a bottle of almond extract and drink it down while imagining it has a cakey texture. The frosting had no discernible flavor apart from pure sugar, and it was so cloyingly sweet my teeth are hurting just thinking about it. Even though it was a $3 cookie, it went in the trash - what a waste! Negative stars on this one! Aside from that, it's a cute little shop with friendly staff, and the boxes they pack cookies in are adorable. There are no tables so it's strictly a to-go place. What would I change if it were my business? At $3 plus for a single cookie, offer either small free samples (preferably) or at least have available some of the smaller sized cookies that can be ordered for catered events at a nominal price just for tasting, then deduct the charge from an order if the customer purchases four or more cookies of any variety. I'd hate to purchase several cookies that turned out to be awful (like that sugar cookie!!!) and have to toss them out - it was bad enough I had to do that with one. I understand it's not cost effective to offer too large a selection at any given time, but I'd probably offer just a bit more - perhaps a total of six in the rotation. In looking at the website I saw that only the current offerings are listed; I'd add both a list (with pictures) of all the varieties that are available at one point or another, and also a preview of the coming week's selection, just to whet people's appetites and entice them to come back. As I said, it's exclusively a take-out place, and frankly, my friend and I both found it off-putting to be asked (via a large display on the computer screen) how much of a tip we wanted to leave. The staff was pleasant, but they didn't do any more than a clerk at any retail store would - are we expected to start tipping the workers there next? This sense of entitlement is getting out of hand! Will I try Crumbl again? Probably - I'm always on the lookout for new ideas, and enjoy trying to improve on recipes - as I'm doing with the coconut lime - but I'll never again buy one of those nasty sugar cookies! read more

I understand that this place just opened up however, for a place that sells just cookies, this does not impress. My order was taken from a rude employee (I believe her name was maddie). I went yesterday and it was easy order and check out. Warm cookies! Amazing. They are huge. I got a box of 4 to share with 2 chocolate chip and 2 hot chocolate. I didn't get the cinnamon swirl but it looked good and is on my list. The best part is that they are open til midnight for those late night cravings. I can't describe how great these cookies are. These cookies are amazing. The staff is extremely friendly, and it's very clean. I love how they rotate the cookies weekly. I always check their website every Sunday to see what's coming next week. So far, the cinnamon roll and the Oreo are my favorites. It's right next to a Starbucks, so it's a perfect 1-2 combo! read more

It's a meh. Not worth the price of the cookies. They have the texture between cookie and cake. We had the molten lava, red velvet, and gingerbread cake cookie. There are no tables and chairs. I was hoping to take the kids in and eat a cookie or two there with some milk. Had to eat them in the car. I know the big deal about Crumbl is getting warm cookies just baked, but if you have to wait to eat them till you get home and they are cool... I don't understand the hype about a place like this especially for $12 for 4 cookies. read more

Cookies are great, don't get me wrong. However, customer service is terrible. Went in on Saturday to purchase a 4 pack of cookies for my daughter's birthday. Upon the employee bringing the cookies to me, I asked for a "Happy Birthday" sticker to put on the box. Keep in mind, the sticker is no more than a half dollar in size. There are rolls of stickers behind the counter so I just assumed I could get one. I asked the employee and she responded with she didn't know if she could do that. At this point, I am confused! She didn't know if she could put a sticker that couldn't be worth more than .5 on the box. The owner, I am assuming came over and very rudely said that they normally charge for them and that next time I would need to let them know at checkout. I mean, that's fine. Clearly, if I pay 11.00 for 4 cookies, I will pay a dollar for a sticker. There is no sign at checkout, how was I supposed to know? This owner had a real stuck up attitude and better than everyone else about the situation. Told me several times that there was a charge. I made it clear I would pay for the sticker. Because of her attitude and demeanor, I will go on down the street to the Toll House next time. If your cookies are amazing but you suck at customer service, your business will eventually fail. Wowzers! I had a sample of 3 of their cookies yesterday. Chilled sugar cookie, hot chocolate and sea salt toffee. They were all amazeballs. And I could not believe how much the hot chocolate cookie tasted like actual hot chocolate. I will have to make a special trip to East Brainerd just for these gems. read more

I was excited to try it but the cookies tasted like straight flour. We got a set of 4 and every one of them tasted bland-i was really disappointed. especially how much I paid for them. They were cold as well so I was pretty upset. I might be willing to give them another try though but it might be a while until then. Fabulous cookies! I was very skeptical on trying this place because I am a pretty good baker myself so I wondered how good these cookies could really be. Warm and melty or cool and chewy, Crumbl cookies satisfied my cookie craving! My family couldn't come to a unanimous decision about which cookie deserved the #1 spot: one loved the seasonal Hot Chocolate cookie, one loved the Oatmeal Chocolate Chunk, and it was a tie for me with the Hot Chocolate, the seasonal Peppermint Sugar cookie and the chilly Sugar Cookie! We tried every cookie available during the Grand Opening and had zero complaints about any of them. These cookies are just the right balance of crisp on the outside and ooey-gooey or chewy on the inside. The frostings and toppings were delicious, too, and really rounded out the cookies' flavor profiles - just excellent. If you want a cookie big enough to feed two adults, then Crumbl is just the place! Enjoy indulging! read more

After waiting 30 min in line for a free cookie on their GRAND OPENING. They tell us the only FREE cookie is the Cho chip. WHICH they are OUT of. So they offered a sugar cookie instead. Unfortunately my wife doesn't eat sugar cookies. After arguing with the manager that they have plenty of the other choc cookie, Could she just have one of those. NOPE.
