There are two Teachers in Charge of Nursery aswell as Teaching Assistants. It is a large nursery with main play areas, quiet room, kitchen etc and a lovely enclosed safe garden for the children to play. The children are well looked after and are encouraged to interact and learn new things. Each term has a theme for new things to learn, and activities are based around that. Children are encouraged to learn a few words of Welsh and song time involves all the favourite nursery rhymes in both Welsh and English. Two of my children have attended this nursery and thoroughly enjoy their time there, coming home at the end of session extremely excited about that day's activites. Overall a fabulous nursery and recommended to anyone in the area.

The only thing that has really threatened the business in a significant way in recent times is that a new shop has opened up offering ironing services a few doors down. But even this isn't presenting any kind of threat to the livelihood of the business. Fabricare also offer service washes and ironing services. They accept dry cleaning jobs, but send the dry clean items off to be serviced elsewhere, and so you may have to wait slightly longer for this service than at other outlets that have dry cleaning facilities in-house. The business is owned by Mrs Crean,who owns another outlet on City Road, and so has a manager to run this shop on her behalf. It's a friendly little laundrette, with a good number of machines.

They not only offer quick key cutting while you wait, but can also do shoe repairs, locker repairs, passport photos, car key programming, engraving services (for pet tags, trophies, etc), jewellery and watch repairs, and a locksmiths service for homes, businesses and vehicles if you get locked out! It's also open earlier than most shops - from 8.30am onwards - which is handy. There's another branch of Timpson on Queen Street if you're over the other side of town (up near Capitol Centre, near Queen Street Station end of the road)..

However, I don't visit Albany Road very often anymore, so I'm more likely to get that kind of thing done while I'm in town, and Timpson is the best place to do that. While slightly more expensive, the service is just as good, although it can get pretty busy in there on weekends. The store is really tiny too, so it can get really cramped. Their watch repairs in particular are excellent, with batteries that last much longer than those I've had replaced in other stores. They also sell funky keys in different colours and patterns, which it's really handy for me, as I seem to have a ridiculous number of keys, and spend ages at the door trying each one.
