my install of a complete suite of avionics took 4x as long as what was declared on Proposal signing . communications were always slowly responded to after multiple attempts. While everything works as delivered . I wanted to do additional work on an auto pilot install , and it only made sense to go back to this installer who had done the initial work . If I could give zero stars I would. It has been over two years since I delivered my Cessna 421C to Crystal Avionics for installation of a new panel, radar and autopilot. He promised the work would be completed in 4 months and it's still not functional. After 18 months, he said it was ready to go. I took delivery and immediately found that most of the components did not work. For the last 6 months he has been promising to fix the problems - but he hasn't. I am getting ready to file a lawsuit. Before you entrust your plane to this business, visit the hangar, get the tail numbers of the planes sitting there, and contact the owners to see how long they have been strung along waiting for their planes to get finished. read more
