The worship team is amazing, you can feel the Holy Spirit move as the hands of the congregation are raised to the most high, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Pastors Bob and Tammy Brydon are authentic in their passion for the word of the Lord. They do not shy away from the hard stuff, in fact they dive in and bring biblical truth so that deliverance and freedom can be found. The children's ministry seems to be loved by the children and their parents. We have adult children so we can only go by the children & young adults that smile and laugh while bolting down the aisles as they are being dismissed to go to class. This is not a mega church in size but it's heart is mega full of loving people who gather to worship, learn, and have fellowship with those around them. We are truly grateful to have found this church and made amazing friends while growing in our faith. I can not express the love and happiness I feel when I enter that auditorium and hear the music and see the people all praying and singing in unison. My heart vibrates on a different level and I truly feel so close to God and Jesus. I have been attending Sunday sermon and I actually look forward to going to church again. I am a better person to myself and to others for the renewed love I have for God and people. This kind of love I never felt in my Catholic school and church. Thankfully, a good friend of ours recommended City Reach; and after checking out the church over a couple of Sundays, we made our choice. We enjoyed and continue to be delighted by the friendliness of the church member community here. The parking team does a wonderful job each Sunday to make sure we find a parking spot, and they have a shuttle that brings us to the entrance. Drip coffee and hot tea are provided if you'd like to enjoy a hot beverage while worshipping and listening to the sermon. The worship teams are truly in the spirit and sing in the name of Jesus. The worship sets are powerful and we can feel the Holy Spirit moving within us, and we see how others around us have been impacted as well. The pastor is unapologetic in preaching what is written in the Bible. He doesn't add fluff but stays true to the Word. His expository style is appreciated as he highlights the main ideas while calling out key points. They also have a children's program, from infants through high school. Their new campus is beautiful and has several parking lots to choose from. There is also overflow parking available with a shuttle provided. City Reach Church isn't charismatic nor is it traditional (we've been to both kinds in the past), it's actually fun and we look forward to going each Sunday! The style here is unique, though it's not necessarily for everyone. The common thread is that they HATE. Not brown people , not poor people but Republicans. I don't remember any of them calling attention to Jesus . No room for anyone of different viewpoints. It's an "us" versus "them" hotbed. . So much for "no perfect people ... emphasis on the word ALLOWED since they no doubt run everyone else off. The people here are genuine and this church does not condone gossip or worldly distractions that take away from our relationship with Jesus. My family and I started coming 2 years ago and it is undoubtedly the best decision we ever made in seeking a church home. Of course, the church is full of people with differing opinions and outlooks, but we all agree that Jesus is the only way to God and that biblical texts matter more than personal preference. Broken people, seeking wholeness in God, through his Son Jesus Christ. At KeyPoint the weekly slogan is "Jesus is the Key, People are the point." And you can feel that lived out every Sunday, every 1st Wednesday and in all of their events. Truly a place of love and community that look out for one another as family. People all over sitting on the floor in the lobby. We've known about rain for weeks so this church should have prepared for it. I think the most disappointing thing is they didn't have the volume up in the lobby so you can hear the seminar inside. Even the bathroom speakers were on low. Inside the chairs were too close together (although very comfortable)... I'd prefer stadium seating with a cup holder. I personally didn't care for the evangelical style of this conference.
