I noticed several things she missed and asked her to dust the fan and she dusted one fan and seemed in a rush to leave but I thought this was because she'd run over time or had to go to a next appointment so I tipped her and she left quickly. When I told the woman on the phone she didn't clean the fridge and other things she was apologetic but told me the fridge wasn't on the checklist so I checked the checklist they sent and went around to the things on the checklist and as you can see from the pictures the other things on the checklist were not clean... The worst part is this is a move in cleaning. So there was no furniture she had to work around and no furniture to clean! For 3 hours with no furniture everything should be clean. I thought they'd offer for someone to come back or money off a next cleaning but they didn't offer anything except apologies.

I received a few replies, some two days later (!) but Helane at Maid 4 You answered right away. After some back and forth via Yelp, we began to text. By far the easiest! She told me her minimum fee was $100 and asked what else could they clean to make it right. Long story short, it was by far the best quote I received so I booked for today. The two people who cleaned went above and beyond (I think, more later). My bathroom and the one on the main floor as well as the one on the third floor are sparkling! Just to add a tip here: they don't give a "window" appointment, so when the cleaning crew finished another job early, Helane texted to ask if they could come but it was an hour and 15 minutes earlier. We weren't ready! We had so. much. stuff. The clutter struggle is real. Here is one more, very important tip: the "lead" cleaner spoke a little English but the other one I think none. It was delightful to listen to them speaking Portuguese! But if I was doing this again from scratch, I would ask the boss to come to the house so we could be very clear what was and wasn't to be done. I honestly don't know what they were told, but if it was their normal cleaning routine it was beyond excellent!! I just didn't know - having never hired anyone for this before - what to expect or how to direct them. Will we have them back? You bet. DD and I are thinking a monthly visit from these fantastic cleaners will be well worth the very reasonable cost. PS - I had to google how much to tip because as I said I was a first timer. He increased my rate because I renovated my home and added a bathroom. Then from there he increased the rate again significantly the night before the appointment stating that it was because I didn't do a cleaning last month. I was away for work for a few weeks so I obviously wouldn't need a cleaning but I did try to book them that month in question and they weren't available before my trip so I opted to have them come after my trip which is why I couldn't book them last month.
