The quicksilver lodge is in desperate need of a staff that throughly cleans the room and pays attention to detail. Our room was in very poor shape, which included blood stained sheets, a disgusting floor stained with who knows what, a broken stopper for our sink, milky water from the sink, and other various stains on the sheets. The room also had a slight smell that dissipated after a little while. The price we paid for the room was extremely overpriced and honestly, a ripoff. They get away with this because of the lack of lodging options. I would not recommend staying here or any of the crystal mountain resorts. Also, heads up the Alpine Inn restaurant charges a $1.50 for each item when you order to go. Note that there is limited seating, so be aware when you get your order to-go. Overall, a very poor experience with lodging, but the mountain is great, just don't stay close to the mountain. read more

We just got back from what was supposed to be a "relaxing" weekend, but it was really filled with overpriced food, drunk wedding guests, and outdated rooms. There is one restaurant available, unless you want to pay $25 a person to ride the gondola to the Summit House-which was another horrible experience. Our room was filthy and there was absolutely no insulation, so drunken wedding guests that were yelling and fighting in the hallways kept us up all night. No amenities like pools or hot tubs that you would expect at a ski resort. I will not be returning to this place! read more

Just got off the phone with Tobin at the Villiage Inn. I asked how it's supposed to work if I bring my pets to a $170/night pet friendly room. Basically he said I can't check in until 2:00 and then I have to check out before 11:00. I asked what I am supposed to do with my dogs until 2:00/after 11:00. I had a wedding to attend at the lodge. The Village Inn had the cheapest pricing out of the other two hotels and the condos so I went with them since I only needed it for one night. It was exactly what I paid for. A bed, a bathroom and a balcony. Not fancy in any way, shape or form. No luxuries at all. Sort of run down. You can tell its pretty old. Very musty smelling when you walk in the room but its clean and that's what really matters. Had a pretty good view from the balcony but we weren't in the room too much so it really didn't matter. I will say the bed was pretty comfy so that was nice. The lady at the front desk was super nice and honestly that is what would make me go to this place again. All in all it was fine but nothing spectacular. It served its purpose. read more

This probably one of most disappointing hotels I have ever been to. First there was no accommodation for ADA. The clerk insisted that their tiny bed was a queen yet it was clear it was a full size bed. And to top it off, when we turned down the sheets, the were blood stains on the sheet and other stains on the pillow. Realistically they should have paid me to stay there instead of me paying. Resort is very nice and in a great location. Our particular inn (Quicksilver Lodge) wasn't so great. Room was too small, loft too low for all but small children (my grown daughter smashed her head), internet was really spotty, too hot at night cuz no air flow, no desk to work at, very stiff bed. read more

We booked a deal through Travelzoo - supposed to be a $203 value for only $89.00. One night accommodation at one of the three hotels, and a free continental breakfast. This was an $89.00 value - so not really a deal. Stayed at the Alpine Inn, the room was quaint, and we were lucky enough to have a bathroom in our room. Not all of them do, but there are community bathrooms in the hall for the rooms without. No TV's in any rooms. We were made aware when booking so brought a lap-top and a couple of movies. The continental breakfast was pretty slim. Some baby muffins, bagels, cereal, mini-yogurts, and bananas. Not bad- but no option to purchase a hearty breakfast if you wanted. For what we paid, it wasn't bad. Would have been very disappointed if we had paid over $200 though! read more

Washington state - for all of it's amazing skiing terrain, Washington falls short on its abundance of modern day ski resorts. Note the exception- Crystal Mountain is actually the perfect balance of offering the conveniences without too much commercialism. Crystal Mountain Hotels is the little gem of a secret tucked in on the slopes at Crystal Mountain. One of the hotels is next to the new gondola and has ski to your door access. The beauty of the Alpine Inn, one of the 3 hotels run by Crystal Mountain Hotels, is the charming, family run atmosphere. Stay on the slopes with a great restaurant, amazing deli, and the coolest ski bar all at your doorstep. (Ever heard of the Snorting Elk Cellar? It's the super cool ski bar that is part of the business) Run independently of the ski resort, one of the things that makes it so charming is the family run atmosphere. A line up of baked goods in the deli that you could never find at a resort run place! Don't miss the cookie dough brownies or the carrot cake with thick frosting...ski down at lunch to your hotel, roll into the snorting elk deli located in the same building and refuel on hearty homemade soups and tasty, specially crafted ales in front of the fireplace and know you will never find such a cool little place at the other resorts- big or small. The Alpine Inn is no modern condo at Whistler- the rooms are charming and simple- down duvets and details you will love, but small and simple. The location and atmosphere of this little gem are unparalleled at any ski resort I have visited. read more

Crystal Mountain Hotels - Hotels Near Me - Enumclaw, Washington

My girlfriend and I recently stayed a couple of nights at Crystal Mountain for the third consecutive year. We stayed in the Village Inn both this year and last year. We have also stayed in Quicksilver Inn, but we definitely prefer the Village Inn. We love having the balcony and view of the adjacent ski area/mountains and all the activity. Granted, the quality of rooms is not the Ritz-Carlton as some other reviews have stated, but that is not what we go there for. We go for the mountain experience and slope side lodging that frankly can't be found anywhere else in the state. The rooms are clean, have a flat screen TV/DVD player, a fridge, coffee maker, etc. I'm not sure what more you need. I don't know about everyone else, but when we go, we are spending a lot of our time skiing, snowshoeing, hanging out at The Snorting Elk, the lodge, and not just sitting in our room. We've been treated great every time we've been there. This year, I requested an upper floor room if possible. They gave us a room not only on the top floor but also on one of the corners so we had a neighbor on just one side and nobody above us. We really appreciated that. Also, we usually get up to the mountain early on our first day, like 10 or 11am to enjoy the snow and they've been happy to let us check in early which is great because we can park right at the hotel as soon as we get there and not have to deal with parking with the rest of the skiers. The only minor negative I would mention is that there isn't an ice machine in the Village Inn that I'm aware of. I believe there is one in the Quicksilver though which is just a short walk away. All in all we love going and already looking forward to our next trip. read more

We have been staying at the Alpine Inn at Crystal as a family for the last 3 years and we love it! I knew to expect basic lodge environment with small rooms, no tv, phones or fridge & that's part of it's charm. The sheets are comfortable and we sleep well. The Living Social deals come with buffet breakfast and it is a great deal. The restaurant serves great food and the Snorting Elk is one of the best après ski bars in WA. I love that the kids can play outside in the snow while we grab a beer in the Snorting Elk, we can lock any ski eqt up and park right out front. We go with another family now for mid-winter break and look forward to having Alpine Inn as our base. I keep coming back and we like the family ski memories! read more

I Have been staying at the Alpine Inn since I was kid and I love it! There is no place that makes skiing easier and more fun. Great food at both the Restaurant and Deli, lively bar at the Snorting Elk and comfy rooms to crash in when done. Now that I have kids we stay all the time and they enjoy the same things I did like sledding out back, night hikes on the ski hill, and the best cookies in the Deli. Came down the mountain after hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Snoqualmie. Excited to have a room and a few hot meals. The Village Inn room was small, loud, no water pressure, hot, (no air on a 80 degree day) glaring light in window all night, noisy people above us having a party and then waking us at 5AM. Paper thin walls. All for the cost of $153. Had to wait for "complementary" breakfast until 7:30AM. Got to restaurant to find cold cereal and white bread and muffins though the coffee was excellent dark roast. Asked the staff at the restaurant for anything hot and they offered a scrambled egg, bacon and potatoe breakfast for $13 each! We opted for this choice and it was a good portion but at any Best Western this choice would be included. Lots of staff running around trying to clear your table before we finished eating. Basically, the choices are minamal so be prepared for resort type pricing for sub par quality. read more

Stayed at the Alpine Inn this past weekend; though it was nice to have front seat parking and be so close to the lifts in the morning; the Inn needs some sprucing up. Creaky bed, lumpy thin blanket that had me keeping the heat on at night in order to stay decently warm (I also like to crack open the window for fresh air...but given the 'blanket' on the bed--needed the heater too!), very noisy (there was a child with croup next door---the cough was unmistakable!) and small rooms. Paint chipped, pieces of the furniture had wood pulled off it, just old. Add in soundproofing, Wi-Fi in all the rooms, a real quilt, and non-creaky mattress springs--and it could be much nicer. The cost does not reflect what you get; next time I'll do VRBO down in Greenwater and drive up. The cost of the condos across the way from the Alpine Inn is just as bad, and the soundproofing not much better. Come on Crystal...you have world class skiing, can't you have better housing? read more

I have stayed at both the Alpine Inn and the Village Inn. When I stay overnight at a ski resort I really only need a hot shower and a warm place to sleep..and either of these places will fill the bill in the regard but don't expect anything fancy. While the place is overpriced, my stays have all been gifts (Groupon, Travelzoo, etc) so I can't complain about the cost. My "deal" have also included the breakfast buffet, which is simple but filling. I will say the staff has always been very friendly. The Snorting Elk is a great place to have some beers and pretty decent food too. My biggest complain is they don't seem to EVER plow or shovel snow other than the main roads into Crystal and around the parking lot. Having to try to drive and/or walk through a season's worth of frozen snow with new snow on top of that is tough. If we didn't have all wheel drive we would have never gotten out of the parking lot, even though the main roads were bare pavement! When snow conditions are good, skiing at Crystal can't be beat but if you stay on the mountain be prepared to pay a lot of money for what will be a Motel 6 room at best. read more

I can't belived the nice ski resource with the place to stay like dumpster. we book and paid for 3 nights but have to leave after first night. Roadside motel 6 quality at Maui prices. And the food and service in the restaurant above the Sorting Elk was abominable! My sister stayed in the PET ROOM in the Village Inn and it was far and away better than room 414. Will not try this again. We will go back and enjoy Leavenworth and Stevens Pass and skip EVER staying at Crystal again. Maui prices mid-week too! This was the worst hotel I've stayed in in years, pathetic. Bowing laminate on bathroom counter, holes in the wall, burned out lights, molding shower curtain, faux laminate parquet floor in bathroom, and the walls are paper thin. All the bad reviews led me to not expect much, I was therefore pleasantly surprised by my visit to the Village Inn. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and updated, they even had a dog bed and treats for my puppy. Yes, the walls are thin, but other than that, I had an awesome stay.
