The sign on the door said opens at 9:00 but did not have a closing time, so I assumed they were open until 5:00. The open sign was lit, the door was unlocked and there was a man sitting at the counter inside. I went in and asked about replacing stereos in 2 different vehicles. He was really rude and talked to me like I was interrupting his day, although he was doing nothing. After I told him what I needed, he said "well we do close at 4:00". I apologized and said I was sorry I did not see that anywhere. He replied "Well what were you doing all day, to come in here now?" in a very rude voice. I WAS WORKING, jerk. He finally gave me an estimate for the screen replacement for the Jeep. I then specifically asked about how much for the part itself and the installation, and he just said "I don't know." I apologized for wasting his time and left. I will not be back. Evidently he did not want my business.

Here's the story - I live in Tallahassee and dropped a mate off at the Valdosta Airport. On the drive through Madson to the airport, the Royal Restoration & Remodeling store piqued my curiosity. I took a mental note of the location so that on my way back through I could stop in and explore the items. I was a bit nervous at first to walk into a store alone, but that was quickly diminished when the kind lady in a pastel blue-collared shirt welcomed me into her store. I browsed around a bunch because everything I saw was so unique and the price point was fair. A few items were missing price tags so I asked for the prices and received excellence in customer service. What an outstanding bunch of women running this place. Three of them to be exact! So kind, soft-spoken, happy to listen to my business ventures, and super sweet! My final purchase was a silver butterfly-handled white desk, a 3-tier corner rack, fabric for sewing, and lots of clip-on jewelry. I recommend you check out Royal Restoration & Remodeling! He messaged me back within minutes. Yes we have a store front and we are located behind Red Lobster. I didn't make it by there that day. 2 days later I pulled up at about 5:20, they are open until 6 so I figured it wouldn't be a problem (I just wanted some pics for Yelp!). As I was walking out someone walked up to the door and locked it! I look at my watch, in the morning at you do so the other person knows you're questioning the time. It was 20 to 6 and she just shook her head at me. I'm sorry but I have 15 years in retail management and I don't care if it's CVS, Aeropostale, the gas station or the thrift shop, you don't early. I get that some days are slow and having staff there is eating up your profits so change the store hours and make sure you inform social media sites, the business website, etc. people plan on these things even when they've on got 20 mins. I'll come back with an open mind later this week. And it'll prob be 10 mins before closing just to see if they close early again.
