Took my older car to them after scraping the quarter panel badly on a yellow barrier at the bank…read more Came out of the shop looking good, nice paint match but they're always busy so it took about 2 weeks longer than quoted. Not even one year later the quarter panel has quite bad bubbling under the paint all along the upper wheel arch where they repaired it. Graham said its rust and its not his fault so no warranty. My car has only ever been driven in 2 winters and had no rust at all before the repair. Everyone I've shown it to thinks they should have fixed it and I feel the same. To all of us it was a failed repair. Sorry to say it ended up being a bad experience for me and I can no longer recomend going there.

My Kia Optima was broken into. Back windows smashed out and ignition trashed. Brake lock kept it from being stolen. Got a text friday morning saying car was in for detail and QOS. Harold's Called Friday afternoon to say it was ready for pickup and all repairs were done. First lie. 1. They didn't replace the steering wheel phone switch. Just pushed it back into place so it look like it was fixed. THey only way they could have done this is from behind the switch by taking off the back steering wheel covers. SO when I told them that, instead of ordering a NEW part which they are getting paid to do. They just gooped a bunch of plastic adhesive onto it so it would stay in place. Very professional. 2. The covers for the steering wheel column were popping off and were NOT put back on properly. Airbag was cockeyed and not secured into place properly. Which could seriously hurt someone(ME) if it went off and was not set into place properly. Took it back and they fixed it properly, I think lol. 3. Car was NOT detailed or cleaned properly at time of pickup. THis is the worst part. Took some rags ,soap and water, my vacuum out to clean out the interior, wipe down the surfaces. Opened back drivers door(window that was busted out) and started washing the seats and plastic down. Put my hand on the back seat and guess what happened???? Fine glass shards sticking out of my hand cutting my hand and making it bleed. Both back seats had these. Cleaned up the blood and continued cleaning the car. Glass shards and pieces of glass in both of the door bins!!! So Harold's Autobody on the NE side of Edmonton gets a quality control score from 1 to 10............... ZERO Level of incompetence is staggering for a business of this size. I am sure if I had even 1 tenth of the incompetence in my career I would have been fired on the spot. Sure its a 12yr old car. But it is MY CAR and it is in excellent shape. And if you are getting paid to do a job, DO IT WITH PRIDE. Or do NOT do it at all. Cheers

What a wonderful surprise when I picked my vehicle up from Harold's!! They covered a few decent scratches that weren't being fixed, popped out a dent in my bumper and did an awesome detailing job. I thought I had new floor mats they were so clean. I have used Harold previously and each time was extremely happy. You get much better service from a smaller company.
