The owners have a clear appreciation for local art and culture which is reflected throughout the space. There's a perfect blend of socializing in the common areas, yet quiet in the work area (imperative if you're as easily distracted as I am). Perks -- free coffee, chill but professional people, natural light, amazing views (especially at sunset), great central Downtown location, several conference room hours included with all monthly plans (and if there's no one renting it, they'll occasional let you use it for free -- ex: for a phone call/video conference). Definitely a good spot to get work done outside of the house. And at this price point, it's practically a steal.

I started with them and I have not been able to pick out a desk or use the office once. I started with them on June of 2019. The company charged me for several months and did not inform me I needed to pick a desk or I would need a key to use the facilities. I found out I needed that in July after I had already paid for June. I asked them to put my membership on hold until I could come in and pick a desk and get a key and they still charged me. They are all about money and not providing a great service experience or any experience at all. I talked with the owner about getting a key He said he would call me back but her never did. Check for a workspace elsewhere because they don't provide any real services and thy may not be a real company. I believe they are a shell company without any spaces available from my interactions with them. Either that or everything is already rented out and they can't provide me with a desk. I have rented and office before and I was informed of everything and I actually was able to use the office when I wanted. I now regret moving from where I was before and coming to this company so I could be closer to my home.

When I first found this place I actually thought Hector was too friendly and thought "if it's too good to be true...then...". I am so glad I tried this place out. Everyone I have talked to who rents here is happy. Hector follows through with his promises, cares that tenants are happy, and goes out of his way to make sure everything is good with the space. The other thing I really like is that there is air conditioning 24/7. I work weekends and many offices turn off the air on the weekend. The other thing is that the security guards are really nice and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this place (I have told several colleagues about it as well).

It must be said that I have had many great experiences working in these buildings over the years. I…read morehave worked for one of the companies on this campus since 2011, and for the overwhelming majority of that time it has been a beautiful and enjoyable place to work. Unfortunately, like many reviews, one experience can dramatically change your impression of a place. Today my family came by to bring me lunch. Afterwards, I thought it would be nice to take a quick picture of my daughters in front of one of the fountains. Before I even had the opportunity to take the picture, security informed me that photography was not permitted because the property was private. We immediately stopped. That surprised me. In the fifteen years I have worked on this campus, I do not recall ever seeing signage prohibiting photography or receiving any communication that casual photography in the common areas was prohibited. If such a policy exists, it has certainly not been communicated in a way that made it apparent to me. This campus is designed as an open environment. There are no walls, gates, fences, checkpoints, or other obvious boundaries that would lead a reasonable person to believe they had entered a space where casual family photography is prohibited. The campus includes businesses and amenities that are open to the public, and for years it has hosted tenant events where photography was commonplace. It projects the character of a welcoming community, not a restricted facility. I was not conducting a commercial photoshoot, flying a drone, or photographing the buildings themselves. I am a long-time employee of one of Kilroy's long-time tenants. My family had stopped by to bring me lunch, and I simply wanted to take a quick picture of my daughters by a fountain before they left. The policy does not strike me as common sense. It does not make the campus feel more welcoming to tenants or their families, and it creates an experience that seems completely at odds with the character the property otherwise projects. In the end, policies shape how people remember places. I simply wanted my daughters to have a picture from a place that has been part of my life for the past fifteen years. Instead, the memory we took home was being told that we couldn't take one.

I know you are trying to make this place with that snowflake vibe, but at least get the basics right. Lots and lots of places to sit with No outlets to plug your laptop. I'm glad I'm only here for one visit, cant expect much when you are in Long Beach.
