Trinity College founded by Thomas Church Brownell in 1823 is the second oldest college in…read moreConnecticut after Yale University. The college was located on land they had purchased and later sold to the State of CT in 1845, that property is now called Bushnell Park. One of the original college dormitories was located right where the State Capitol Building now stands. Trinity College is a member of The Little Ivy Schools along with Wesylan, Amherst and Williams College in our area. The Trinity campus building architecture is simply beautiful the Main Quard is bounded by the clock tower and Brownell Chapel on the North, the straight run, called the Long Walk made up of dorms and classrooms on the West border of the green this is a grand promenade of the entire lenght of The Main Quard. The Green is distinct as it has no paths through it; the Elm trees on the green are planted in a "T" for Trinity. There is a larger than life bronze statue of Thomas Church Brownell founder of the college and to the rear on either side are two canons from the USS Harford, the flag ship of Rear Admiral David Farragut during the civil war battle of Mobile Bay in New Orleans. There is plenty of history and beauty here as a visit to Trinity College and Brownell Chapel will no doubt confirm!

I ended up failing the class because I dropped my sippy cup on the damn floor and got orange juice everywhere. This girl in the back started pooping. She was like "oh no professor! I just took a shit!!! Her mommy had to come get her and she was crying on her way out. Man, that bitch. Sometimes we would get nap time if we're good. I remember when I was well behaved and my professor let us watch cherry the skank on the PowerPoint projector. We'd get strawberry shortcake and Mac n cheese as a snack for our reward.

I would strongly caution anyone considering the University of Hartford's DPT program to look very…read morecarefully into the program's academic policies and expectations before committing the amount of time and money required. From what I have seen, the program can feel extremely unforgiving when a student struggles academically. A student can put an incredible amount of time, effort, and money into pursuing this degree, yet one difficult course or grade can potentially have major consequences for their ability to continue progressing through the program. For a doctorate-level healthcare program that is already extremely demanding, I think there should be a stronger emphasis on helping students improve and succeed rather than making them feel like one setback can determine their entire future. What bothered me most was seeing how much stress and uncertainty this can create for someone who genuinely wants to become a physical therapist and has worked extremely hard toward that goal. Graduate programs should absolutely maintain high academic standards, especially in healthcare, but high standards and meaningful student support should be able to exist at the same time. If you are considering UHart for DPT, I would seriously recommend asking detailed questions about minimum grade requirements, what happens if you do not meet them, remediation opportunities, repeating courses, dismissal/progression policies, and what academic support is actually available before enrolling. I wish these policies and their potential consequences were something prospective students understood more clearly from the beginning. For the amount of money, time, and emotional investment required to pursue a DPT, students deserve a program that challenges them while also giving them a reasonable opportunity to recover from an academic setback and demonstrate that they are capable of succeeding.

Wasn't for us. Which is why you take visits, right!? However, admissions rep who gave the info session was as good or better than others we've seen in the state university system. Note: bookstore inventory for gear is boarderline embarrassing for a D1 school. Clearly want to push you on line. We were not buyers today - in general - but wanted to see. If you're a fan or want gear for your student or athlete - look on line only.

The worst school ever. Parents if you are reading this- I urge you not to let your children go to…read morethis school. 1. The bursars office and administration are some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life (and I work in an ER) if that says anything. They are the least helpful people. All they want is your money and that's it. 2.The teachers are not kind whatsoever. They don't help the students at all. They don't respond to their emails. My math teacher (she was the only russian math teacher there) literally bullied me the entire semester I was there. During finals, in the middle of the class she word for word said out loud "i don't know why you're here when you're going to fail it anyways." to me DURING MY FINAL. 3. When trying to withdrawal from a class, I had to email my professor asking her to sign the form. She responded to my email "Who are you?" when I had already went to about 6-7 of her classes. When I responded, she never responded back to me which resulted in me getting charged for the class. 4. The president of academic affairs literally got arrested for kidnapping and assaulting the students on campus. Look it up. 5. The school in its entirety, is an absolute dump. It's extremely depressing. (Oh and for the students that are reading this that are thinking about coming here, I'm just going to let you know now that there are literally no parties, NB police shuts them down before they even start) 6. I really hate to say this but CCSU has a very bad reputation of sexual assaults occurring on campus. A lot of my friends went here as well and every single one has gotten sexually assaulted here (some even more than once.) The school has done nothing about it. (You can look this up as well) So parents, I would reconsider letting your daughter go here. 7. OH AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST! When you are done attending CCSU, they tell you you need to pay your tuition in 6 months otherwise it goes into collections. I'm sorry, but I did not have $10,000 laying around nor was I going to be able to come up with 10g's in 6 months. (What a Joke) They also did not even try to work with me or help me they gave me that one option and that was it. AND if you don't pay in full, they will not release your transcript to you. (if you were transferring schools/going back to school, etc) All in all, this school is absolutely terrible. I would not go back here or recommend this school to anyone. It's not just me who didn't like it either, everyone Ive talked to hated it and had an awful experience. I basically summed up what had happened to me while i was at CCSU and sent it to the president of the school and all she responded with was "would you like to give me a call" literally that was it (and the email I sent was probably 3 paragraphs long) Terrible staff, terrible campus, terrible FOOD, terrible extra curricular programs. Everything about this school is awful. HOWEVER, I did like my advisor a lot, she was very caring and kind and really tried to help me. Other than that, they should shut this school down with how many complaints and sexual assault cases that occurred here.

Instead students came by to pick up their diploma and were basically slapped in the face with disgraceful "presents". These "presents" included a pair of cheap sunglasses- that would have probably helped the sun burn my corneas- and approximately 10 sticky notes. Yes, 10 sticky notes. Despicable. Then, class 2023, you should watch the commencement. Goodwin decided it would be a good idea to talk poorly about the police, while there was a large police presence surrounding the stadium ensuring the protection of the graduates for the ceremony. Embarrassing!! How disgraceful!! Graduation ceremonies are to celebrate the graduates and their hard work!! NOT TO INCLUDE YOUR POLITICAL AGENDA AND PROPAGANDA!! This school charged thousands and thousands of dollars and cannot even execute a professional and meaningful graduation ceremony for its students. Class of 2020 still has yet to receive any proper recognition for their hard work and the thousands they spent on this school!! And with all the money that's poured into this school, you would think they would be providing quality service and education. But it is far from that!! I had advisors signing me up for classes I did not need, just for money!! They make it really easy for you to sign up, then after that you're just a number. I would never recommend this school to anyone.
