My first time here. My husband loves the fries and the chipotle fry sauce. It's pretty spicy and I liked it too. My tri tip salad was good. Blame those darned fries for my inability to finish it. A real creep out for me was the filth in the restroom. Just had to go, you know, and looking at that floor and all the dirt made me ill. I do judge restaurants somewhat on the cleanliness if the place. How about a cleaning and mopping schedule? Make one, use it, and post it somewhere. Update: the manager called me and said he was addressing my restroom concerns. He sent me a gift card to see the improvements, so I'll check it out again. read more

It was ok. Admittedly, I did not realize the name Cubbys comes from actually dining in a cubby. It was pretty echoey, and some would say claustrophobic. The food was very mediocre. I ordered mac and cheese as well did my wife and her mother. Her father ordered a sandwich, and he was by far the most dissatisfied with his meal. We got sweet potato french fries as well. Fun, hip and modern eatery. It was quite busy when we arrived. The service was very friendly and they had a good energy. I ordered the Gypsy hamburger- it had great flavor but was pretty messy. I added a little of their homemade chipotle fry sauce and it was awesome. They sold me on the Huckle Lulu shake- huckleberry flavor with dark choc shavings. It was fantastic. This is a place I go to about once a week and I never get sick of it. I love everything on their menu. The great thing is that if you're feeling a healthy meal, they got great, light salads... but if you're craving some carbs and meat, they have amazing sandwiches and burgers!!! My favorite salad here is the Wild Rice and Kale no doubt. My favorite burger is the Dragon Slayer. Also, if you're going to get fries and like a little spice, get the buffalo blue cheese fries! Several fry varieties and they are all good. This place is always crowded. A testament to the food. But dining inside feels like your in a crowded elevator trying to tie your shoe. But people like the food right so we all put up with tight quarters. If you love food get a salad or burger. If you want to go safe get a sandwich and fries. We stopped here for dinner on our way home from visiting family. We had been to Cubbys before so we were excited to eat here. Their burgers are really good. It didn't go well at first. The order taker didn't do our order correctly. It's a long wait for the food, so when we got our order and realized they messed up, we had one person who had to wait for food while the rest of us ate. Then as I ate my sandwich I realized it was wrong. There wasn't anything on it but cheese and guacamole. It was missing bacon, tomatoes, sauce and carmelized onions. So it was basically a different sandwich, lol. When I brought it up to the worker, she argued with me that the cheese and guacamole were the only things that came on the chicken sandwich, when the menu hanging right next to us clearly stated the other items. Lol I was a little surprised she argued with me, and that she didn't know how to make a main menu item at her job. She told me if I wanted these things they would put them on but it was not what the cockadoodledoo chicken sandwich came with. A manager then came and she corrected that worker, and confirmed that this sandwich was supposed to have the stuff I said was missing. She was super nice, qnd actually comped me my meal for having to wait for our correct items. She even came to our table to make sure if we needed anything and that we were taken care of. She also offered cookies and other things which we declined. I was really impressed with that, and the food was really delicious. Their rosemary fries are awesome and my family said their burgers are the best. My son swears no one's are better. So there was a mess up at first, but they took care of us and the food was worth the wait. read more

Second best Tri-Tip sandwich I have ever had. The only thing that could make it better is if they toasted the bread quite a bit more than they do currently. The staff are tremendously patient, helpful, polite and kind. Drink offerings are great, rosemary fries were tasty and not over salted. The industrial ambiance is nice. I wish we had one in Portland. Cubby's is one of my top favorite places to eat and is sadly not well known for their amazing breakfast!! It has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat breakfast, I love the way they season their avocado toast, their brioche French toast with fresh berries is out of this world and the egg white breakfast burrito has a killer sauce! And that's just breakfast. Their tri-tip steak salad is SO fresh, I can't ever get enough of their macncheese with bread crumbs and their rosemary buffalo fries with blue cheese sauce and their sweet potato fries are nothing short of amazing. I just experienced the worse customer service that I have had in a long time!. This happened tonight Oct. 2, 2020 at about 8:00 pm in the Lehi (Thanksgiving Point Location) of Cubby's. The Cashier that took our order (that wore a SkyRidge face mask) got the order wrong and forgot to write the name on the order. We paid $60 for this order. There was 4 of us in the party. First, I used the bathrooms which were gross! Then we had to sit at a dirty table and when we asked someone to clean it for us she sprayed a drop of cleaner on the table and then wiped the food off the table and it hit my son that was sitting there. The young lady that took our order (in the Skyridge face mask) brought a bag out to us and told us that she forgot to put the name on the order and was it Jack and we said it was Jake so she handed the order to us. We took the order out of the bag and put it on the table. Then she came back and said that was not our order and she took the sandwiches back from my son but said you can keep the fries. We wondered what she would do with the rest of the food. So we watched her and she then went back to the counter where she put new fries in the bag and took that order (that was touched by us) to the right customer. (Yikes! NEVER especially in a Covid pandemic). That is basic rule 101 of the food handlers permit! Well, then we get our order and it does not have the fries we ordered in it. Yes, she told us that we could keep the fries earlier but they were not part of our order and they were cold! So we thought that we would get new fresh hot fries with our order. So when we didn't get them we went up and said we didn't get our fries. The girl said you already got them! (You mean the cold ones from the wrong order). My son was told that we just wanted free food! (ARE YOU KIDDING ME?) Well, my husband who never likes to get upset at anyone went up after we ate and talked with the Manager (with a bushy beard) and said that was wrong how you treated us and you should NEVER give a customer food that someone else has touched ESPECIALLY IN A COVID PANDEMIC. The manager LAUGHED at him and said you got what you paid for. I couldn't believe it! We won't ever go back! The public needs to be careful going to this Location (LEHI) of Cubby's because of the lack of Cleanliness and Tackless Customer Service. If I could I would definitely give them a ZERO rating!!!! read more

I'm in a conumdrum with this place. I REALLY like their menu. The problem is execution is hit or miss. I've had great food and awful food. Like rotten avocado in my salad, and steak so chewy it's indelible. Cold fries. Yummy breakfasts, but the portions are really inconsistent. Yesssss. I have celiac and come here for the juicy gluten free burgers. It's your typical GF bun but the burger is sooo good here. I also love the maple fries. Tip: get the sauce on the side so you can dip instead of picking up the sticky fries. And that way every fry gets sauce too. read more

I found this to be a fresh deli with a modern twist. I enjoyed the salads we ordered except the goat cheese and beet salad was served with a miserly amount of goat cheese. When I mentioned it to the wait staff I was brought more crumbled cheese and told that salad should have at least 4 oz of cheese. If an ingredient is in the title of a dish it better have ample amounts of that ingredient. My sister in laws steak salad for example had copious amounts of steak strips. The vinaigrette on both salads was great and we enjoyed everything else such as the sweet potato fries and the rosemary fries. I enjoyed this place and wish we had one back where I live in the PNW. read more

I'll give the place a little slack considering they were very busy, but still disappointed with their service. With three different orders in our group not one of them was right! I ordered a grilled cheese with no tomato ( I hate tomatos!) When they brought me my sandwich it was wrapped and had no tomato written on it. I opened it up and sure enough there was juicy tomatos on it! I told them it was wrong and they asked if I wanted a new one made...well yes, because I dont like the seeds or juice a tomato leaves behind! (Im crazy picky) They said they would re-make it and brought it back to me in NEW wrapping. But they didnt think I would notice all the tomato seeds left on the same sandwhich I gave back to them. I ate it just fine and didnt complain, but that wasnt the point. They fact that they told me they would make me a new and didnt is what frustrated me. Good thing im not actually allergic to tomatos. Not to mention im pretty sure this is a health code violation! One of the other people with me ordred soup and a salad. They brought out a side of mushrooms?...She finally got her soup but they still forgot her salad. She finally got it and it all tasted just fine. The other person in our group ordred a salad but changed the goat cheese for some guda cheese. They forgot to do that too. Sure they food tasted good...but nothing great. And the service of the people who actulaly make the food is what I think was lacking. It was crazy busy and people were standing around waiting for places to sit. Cubby's is a great place to eat. However every single time I have come to this location they always get my order wrong, and they literally take more than 30 minutes to get me my food even when no one is in the restaurant.
