Rented a car trailer for 2 days. When I picked it up they said if I were to drop it off a day early…read morethey would refund me my 2nd day. Well, I dropped it off an hour after my 24 hour period, but since they were "closing" they still are charging me for 2 days even though I brought it back an entire day early. Also the manager is very rude after calling and asking about my refund. She said "oh, I don't know why we would say that. You returned it an hour after your pickup time (ONE DAY EARLY) so you're being charged for 2 days. Just don't go there. It's worth going the extra miles to another u-haul to not deal with selfish & rude people that won't keep their word.

Some backstory…read more... When we first got the unit with Sherlock ut was great.. staff was friendly, processed payments appropriately and fast, really no issues in the beginning. Shortly after, say maybe 2 years after getting the unit everything changed. New owners took over and this is when the issues started. From having to make multiple phone calls to make a payment to not having a friendly person who deals with the payments etc.... This quickly became a very frustrating thing to deal with on a monthly baisis and it came to a point. 12/1/23 The last day of dealing with the worst company I've ever had to deal with. Even when we were going to turn in out gate key card there was an issue. We called earlier in the day to make sure Sherlock would be open after work and they were open until 5pm. I pulled up to the office at 4:15 and wbay do i see? The lazy office person who was om the way out. I noticed that the office lights were off and he had his belongings with him. Thankfully we caught him before he left and turned our key in and washed our ha.ds of the absolute WORST company in my life ive had to deal with. Please, save your money, sanity, and frustration and do not give this place your money.

Th3ere are presently 2 guys staying there in their campers, annoying because they run their generators all night long and keep me awake. I called and asked whoever it was that answered they said they would check it out.But I do not think they did, if that generator keeps me awake tonight I'll call the Police and se if they care!
