I'd give them 3 stars but the value bumped them up to 4. I got an xlarge pepperoni and large Hawaiian. Both are good flavors. I got thin crust on the pepperoni but it wasn't crisp, a little disappointing. The selling point is the price for size of pizza. I haven't found prices as good as this for non chain shops. Plus they have a 30 inch pizza if you want! read more

We recently tried Cugino's for the first time and thought it was very good. The crust was a perfect combination of crispy and chewy. The sauce was on the sweet side. I'd tone down the sugar and add more savory seasonings. The toppings were fresh and delicious BUT they skimped on the meats on The Cowboy. They have a lot of specialty pizzas with catchy names. We had the Cowboy and The Works. The garlic dipping sauce was the best I've ever had. They were very nice looking pizzas (see pic)! Will definitely try again, especially since it seems all the chain options now taste like cardboard and artificial chemicals. read more

We stopped here to for a pizza one Saturday afternoon. I heard good things. Upon walking in, was a tad disappointed as there is basically no seating or tables. No big deal we got it to go. So options of pizzas and sizes. You can get individuals of any pizza. The cost is very reasonable too. Anyways we got home to try our pizza, a hearty pepperoni, and an "around the world, neither disappointed. A perfect crust loaded with toppings. Ordered from Cugino's for the first time on a Saturday night and we loved everything! We got a small thin crust, small traditional, and small deep dish to try them all. Plus a salad. They did mess up our order a little bit (chicken bacon ranch instead of buffalo chicken and then a meat lover's instead of just pepperoni) but I'm not complaining about that. The pizza sauce is great, crust was all great. The garlic sauce, ranch, and nacho cheese were all better than expected as well. Great local joint! read more

We ordered delivery from Cugino's tonight for the 3rd time. We live fairly nearby and stumbled on the place soon after we moved here a few years ago. The pizza is always great and delivery so far has been within a good time with friendly drivers. Tonight we got a few calzones and a large salad and we're super happy. We used to live near by and We always liked Cugino's a lot. We moved away several years ago. We live in rural Putnam county now. Just can't find a good pizza anywhere out here. We make our own because bought out is just not very good at all. We were in town on 10/19/23 to visit our son. We Ordered a 20" Sausage, Pepperoni, and banana pepper pizza. Delicious, best pizza we've had in years. Great crust, amazing sauce and let's face it, that's what makes or breaks a pizza. Quality sauce n crust are everything. These guys have the stuff down Pat. If you're looking for ambiance and fine seat down, this isn't for you. If you're looking for nice people and really good pie, you found your spot. Fair warning, call early. Still going strong. It has apparently changed owners a couple times since my last review. But everything still holds from my previous review. Carry out or delivery, no dine-in. Generous toppings. Sauce is not acidic. The standard crust is thin style, with a nice crispyness on the bottom, and the top of the crust soft. The edge or border of the crust is about one inch wide, and is much thicker, making like a wall to hold in the toppings. There is a deepdish/thick option for an upcharge. Sizes are 10", 12", 14", 16", 18", 20", 30". Yes, thirty inch diameter. I stopped here on my way home around dinner time, and I ended up eating 3/4ths of the pizza by the time I got home. No lunch service. Note the hours, they don't open until 4 during the week, 2pm on Sat. Web site says they're open on Sunday, but the flyer says closed on Sunday. read more

I was in town visiting from Ohio and decided to try Cugino's. I was looking at their menu online and was excited to see that they had quite the variety of entrees, pizza, and sides. I ordered a small 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 cheese pizza, individual side of mashed potatoes, baked beans, and potato salad. The order was set for carry out. 20 minutes after I submitted and already paid for my order online a gentlemen from the pizza shop called me to tell me that they were out of baked beans, and potato salad, so I had to order something else since I already paid. He also stated that he just "received," my order and it was going to be an additional 20-35 minutes for take out. All in all, my pizza was delicious and I will definitely order it again when I'm in town. The sides were kind of bland and lacked Flavor... But I guess you can expect that from a pizza place? The service was slow, and unorganized, the staff was very unprofessional while talking to their friends using curse words. The price of the food was reasonable. If you don't care about professional service or non pizza entrees this place is for you. Otherwise, you might want to steer clear. read more

Pizza is ok. It's fresh tasting and inexpensive. I've only eaten here once, so I don't want to beat them up too bad but the pizza is nothing like what's pictured on their menu. I attached a photo from them menu of their Deep Dish offering verses what I actually received. I'm sure the person taking the order understood as I mentioned being from out of town and specifically asked about the cooking times and was trying to be mindful of when they closed. The place is an awful example of a non-chain pizza option. I ordered Cugino's once and my car died. Of course, I had to call back and cancel the order and they were extremely unhappy. The next time I ordered, they demanded that I Pay before I picked up my pizza because they couldn't afford to have me "trick them again" by not picking up the pizza. When I reminded them that the last time was out of my control, they said too bad and that they wouldn't make the pizza for me until I paid for it...they must not be doing too well, if my $15 order was really going to break their bank. After paying for the pizza, the product was actually worse than the awful customer service. A sweet sauce with little taste was only the icing on the cake for an overall terrible experience. I live somewhat close to the place and I would rather drive to Ohio then give that place another chance. read more

Figured I'd try this little place because it was close to my house and I needed a satisfying pie one evening. We were packing, moving, and needed food. Got onto their website and found a special for a 2-topping for $10. Done! Called and asked them about the online special and the kid said they weren't running that special, but they would give me another special for $13. I asked if I could have the advertised special for $10 and he said no, absolutely not. For real?? He said they can't change their website and they don't honor it. Wow.
