Displayed in a glass case, everything looked absolutely scrumptious. The girl behind the counter seemed impatient when we couldn't decide what to choose. She didn't share our enthusiasm at all. Actually, I don't blame her. She spends half her life surrounded by cakes as a job. She simply didn't understand us. The coffee tasted very good this time. There is a little nook in one of the back rooms. Previously, we didn't even know it existed. It was a cozy and relaxing spot with the view of Krupówki Street. Watching people strolling by could be truly entertaining. 'Kremówka' is a traditional Polish cake/cream pie, which is a must to try. It's practically two layers of puff pastry with some kind of vanilla or sweet cream custard between and always sprinkled with powdered sugar. At Samanta they make it beautifully and ideally delicious. My company, aromatic coffee, and sweet desserts made me feel happy. It was a perfect afternoon treat.

At this point, after so many trips together, it has become our tradition to stop after arriving and before checking in to the hotel. I have to admit, they make really good ice cream. In general everything is fresh, looks delicious and tastes the same way. I always try to stick to just a cup of coffee, but eventually I have to try even little bit of some of the desserts avaiable. The fresh made waffels are a hit. We like them covered with ice cream, whipped cream and fruit sauce. The coffee is fine, nothing extraordinary but they serve it in pretty cups with little ginger cookies on the side. The menu is long with many different coffee options, desserts and alcoholic beverages. There's something for everyone to enjoy. The interior is nicely decorated with comfortable seats and no one will rush you to finish your treats. It's a very relaxing environment.
