Let me get this straight - I like the food at Culver's, and I also like the service. My problem is the parking. You can't park on the south side of the building, as you'll almost certainly get stuck trying to get around the drive-up line, so I've always parked on the north side of the building. I found out today that I can't park on the north side of the building, as one side of the lot is reserved for drive-up pick-up, and the other side is now reserved for the 4 two-car EV charging stations. Not being able to park means I don't go to this Culver's any more. It was nice while it lasted. read more

My son wanted me to grab him dinner. I downloaded the Culver's app for the first time. It was actually pretty user-friendly, though it told me I earned a 25% discount for getting the app, but it wouldn't accept the code...so full price. The bigger issue was I received a text to let them know I was there by texting HERE. I did just that. I was texted back that they would bring it right out to my car...even asked make/model/color. I sat for 25 minutes, watching countless other orders get delivered. I finally went inside, and my order was sitting on their shelf...cold and melty. I was frustrated and spoke with someone, who offered to remake it, but 40 minutes after placing the order, I wasn't interested in starting all over again. I finally got home, and had the reheat and refreeze everything...$30 basically down the drain. To top it off, this was my sad order of onion rings...$3.69! That's $.50/cold ring. Initially I was FURIOUS that Uber Eats put my order through at the location instead of the Pullman location which is significantly closer to my home--I assumed my food would be cold--but much to my surprise the Culver's® Deluxe -- Beef Patty on a unique "Lightly Toasted Buttered Bun" with Thick Cut Bacon, Crinkle Cut Fries and Onion Rings were still warm upon delivery and the food was delicious. This evening my daughter and her friends entered this Evergreen Park location for dinner. Upon entry they were greeted by a staff member who told them they could not stay because their party of 5 was too large and that to stay they would need adult supervision. No where was this policy posted. In addition to the rude behavior, they were told that they would have to wait outside and not in the vestibule. It was this unkind and inconvenient behavior by staff that I write this review. The restaurant was not busy, but yet our team was not welcomed or even cared for in the least. It was dark outside & they were not allowed to wait inside for their ride. We chose to go to the location on 107th and Cicero instead and the experience there was exceptional! By the time we got there it was dinner time, but my daughter & her friends were treated with respect and professionalism. Various staff members asked if they could be of help and even offered them additional food and service. We had an awful experience at this Culver's. One of the employees kicked us out for no reason at all, and it was completely unprofessional and rude. We've never been treated like that at any other Culver's, and it makes us not want to come back. Management really needs to take a look at how their staff are treating paying customers. So many restaurants have added fish and other seafood dishes to the menu for lent. Culver's took it up a notch by adding two. Customers have a choice of their delicious cod or the walleye which is only for a limited time. Cooked to order, lightly breaded white fish. I'm never coming here again. So, one time I was a bit sick of eating McDonald's and wanted to try something new. There was a Culver's nearby and I decided to get some. I ordered a chicken sandwich with fries and it looked pretty good. But, when I took a bite, it was hard. I was immediately worried and spit out the food, and it was UNDERCOOKED and RAW! This is the worst Culver's I have been to, when looking for a quality speedy meal I typically opt for Culver's over any other chain. Usually the customer service is great and the food is fresh. This location lacks in both. Multiple times I have received shakes with less than adequate amounts of flavoring such as the shake attached. This is from my most recent visit today. I also had to remind the cashier of two items left off my order and that they were both the wrong size from what I had paid for. This was my first time visiting Culver's and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised. I'd heard all about their claim to fame-Butterburgers-for a while, and decided to finally give it a try. The place was much nicer looking than most fast food restaurants. It was clean, and the menu seemed to have something for everyone. I went with the classic single butterburger with fries. Price was around $7. Staff was very friendly. I thought having the food brought to your table was a nice touch. It at least implies that the food wasn't sitting under heat lamps ready to be served. Unfortunately I didn't taste any butter on my burger. It tasted like a normal burger king burger, nothing special. I did like the crinkle cut fries though. Brand new location in Evergreen Park.. I must say that I like this location, good food, good service and it's new.. what is there not to like?? I really love their frozen custard in shakes(banana is my favorite), sundaes, and concrete mixers... I ordered 3 grilled chicken salads. When I got to my destination, I discovered that something was wrong with my order. No chicken on the salads. I called and spoke to a gentleman who identified himself as the manager. I told his that I would be returning for the correct salads. The fries are standard, and the ice-cream is good depending on your preference. The shakes and malts are of the thick and heavy variety. It's literally sipping cream through a straw. If that's your style, go for it. The fried curds are okay, not as great as you'd hope. There is nothing that this place offers that would make it necessary to venture if you're in the area.
