I usually LOVE Culver's but I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed this go. I ordered the two chicken strips basket with crinkle cut fries and bbq sauce. Got my order and was sad to see how SMALL it was. When I ordered this in the past the chicken was a lot bigger than what I got this time around. Also ordered a small concrete mixer and that was disappointing too. The custard tasted like it had been melted and refrozen. I'll go back in the future and give it another try but this time was VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!! I'm sad I wasted my money especially cause I don't have Culver's where I live. Boo!! read more

Oh my dearest heavens... This damned (and I'm sorry Lord, I will make it up to you later) This damned "establishment" is just beyond terrible!!! Now, you know me folks, I always try and stay as sweet as peaches and pie but the sins committed at this location are UNFORGIVABLE. You have better odds of winning the lottery than having these FOOLS get your order correct. I've dined here many times as it's close to my mother's house, God rest her soul, and every single time without fail the staff here seem determined to take as LONG as possible to make your order as incorrect as possible. I really do apologize for losing my cool but a woman can only take so much... I ALWAYS be sure to have understanding for places that are low staffed or are busy during rush times but I am confident that is nearly never a factor for my experiences. Allow me to put it this way, when you see an empty parking lot, and a kitchen overflowing with employees (who seem to think talking with their friends is included in their job duties) and your order still takes longer than Easter Mass (not to mention completely wrong, LOL.!) there's not much else to blame... My daughter wanted an ice cream so we stopped by the drive through. I also ordered a small french fry. As the menu didn't show the prices for fries separately, I was surprised that they cost more than three dollars. And I was even more surprised to see how few fries were in the small bag. I know that everything is more expensive than ever, but I still have vivid memories of a small order of fries costing one tenth the price I paid recently. Visiting my parents, I was told Culver's is a must for a Midwest experience. Stepping inside, it's like a dirty McDonald's, but with a few gems on the menu. My seven-year-old daughter enjoyed the mac and cheese, but was disappointed that her custard came out melted. Although fried and incredibly unhealthy, the cheese curds were good! I don't live very close to this Culver's. I'll get dinner here after I leave The MVP Sportsplex. Culver's is my first choice for burgers when I'm in a time crunch. I got the app because an employee recommended it and it gets me points and promo codes as well as ordering ahead to pick up because they are usually busy. My go to prefer is a deluxe butter burger combo, xtra crispy L fries, Coke Zero or a concrete mixer, and maybe a L cheesy curds. I just tried the fried shrimp and they were BIG, perfectly fried in clean oil and most importantly juicy! They hook you up some lemon and marinara juice too. Whoever the shift manager is needs a fist bump because these young crew running this Culver's are always very cool, incredibly kind and welcoming. Once I placed a big pickup order on the app and accidentally had it sent to a different location, the app was glitching so she got on the phone and called 2 other locations to cancel my find and order. She left me get my concrete mixer while I waited and after she got me sorted out she held the door open for me took no longer than 15 minutes. read more

Imagine ordering two concrete mixers and waiting so long you start contemplating the meaning of life, or at least the meaning of "fast food." That was my experience at Culver's last night. Despite being the only car in line, I waited over 10 minutes while three other cars behind me got their orders like they had VIP passes to the kitchen. When I finally flagged someone down, they emerged with two concrete mixers that looked like they had spent the last hour in a sauna. Completely melted. At this point, I've accepted that Culver's doesn't value my time or my desire for desserts that don't come pre-melted. If they want to serve frozen custard, maybe they should invest in some customer service first. read more

We came at 7:30 on a Monday and the drive-thru was wrapped around the building. Filled with the typical folks not knowing what a burger is and wondering if Culver's has started carrying the pink tomatoes or if they only have the red ones... Berdus was very lovely over the telespeaker and patient with my husband who, to this day, has no freaking idea what salad dressing he wants on his salad and Berdus was kind enough to recommend "ranch". When we pulled up to the window, where Yuvon, who has seen more-than-most took our exact change and she handed us a sticky note (I LOVE it when they don't just slap it on my car!). We pulled into a space to wait for our meals to be made for about 5 minutes. Christian, the General Manager, personally brought us our food and was happy and cheerful! Burgers were great and they remembered my grilled onions! But best part was that my onion rings were screaming hot! We need to be thankful for the human beings running our fast food and drive-thrus! I'm disabled and my mobility isn't awesome, but I know so many others where their mobility is far worse and drive-thru is important. Are used to love culvers for multiple reasons: the burgers, the chicken tenders, the cod, the shrimp. I've tried three times to get jalapeños on my butter burger and today I found out that as a policy they won't be having jalapeños available. It's 2021, even an Grand Rapids. There goes one star. Then the chicken tenders have shrunk almost to the size of McDonald's chicken nuggets. How are you even supposed to get full off of two of them? Do me a favor & ask for the jalapeños. read more

Except Culver's burgers are pretty good though.. no cap.. and I get mine with tatertots just to be different. Meat tastes fresh, milk shakes and ice cream are top 10 for sure. They make their own ice cream so that's a . Their selection of drinks is trash though. I feel like I'm picking non name brand at the dollar store when it comes to the drinks. Lol might as well have rc cola up there or Mr pibb or something. I've been several times and they make your food fresh which is what I love with them. Everything was good and service was very good but I like Freddy's better. Culver's chili was kind of sour and had too many beans and the beans were too big. Their fries were not that hot. Went there for dinner and the headsets weren't working so I had to come in and get it. It was so chaotic with people lining out the door. Chris the manager handled it so well! I was so impressed by his ability to go around to each station and help all of his workers make it through the rush. He was polite and got the job done. Everytime I go to this location, I'm met by great service. The employees are always kind, courteous, professional, and patient while I ask questions about my order. I love their gluten free buns! I usually get the grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun. If there's sweet potato fries, I'll get the basket, but I believe that's only a short season. (Sad face!) Typical Culver's restaurant. We both ordered the double bacon cheese butter burger and fries. Tasted as good as you would expect and the fries were good. They do have diet Mountain Dew, diet Root Beer, and Diet Pepsi for those who are looking for a bigger variety in that category. We also got a couple sundaes. She got the turtle and got the fudge pecan. They have custard instead of ice cream. Didn't really taste a difference. Place was clean and they were prompt on getting food to our table. This Culvers was great. Came here with my grandfather a lot after he picked me up from school.

While we have eaten here since they opened in this location, we are getting the feeling that the quality is slipping. Staff seem to be less caring and it's hard to even get them to look at you. Our orders are generally less and less accurate and we often have to take our order back to have it done correctly. It has been a combination of the register staff not recording the order correctly and when they get it right, the cook staff don't get it right. Culver's preparation model of putting all the condiments on just the bottom bun really makes for a dry burger. We generally ask for mayo to be put on both buns but that rarely happens. Oh, the fries are to die for! I really enjoy them more than most in Grand Rapids. read more
