Whenever we want to have a super quick meal, or a good fast-food burger, we are glad that we have Culver's very close by! Ordering from Culver's is super easy. After we set up an account on the Northbrook Culver's website, we have the option to save our order and credit card information. Each time we can pull up a particular order, re-order as it's, modify it, or start from scratch. I noticed that we had ordered the ButterBurger Cheese and the Culver's Deluxe interchangeably, mine is single while Hubby's double, since we would customize our burgers with just the ingredients that we like anyway. So, our ButterBurger Cheese or Culver's Deluxe will end up being the same burger after all. Their food is made to order, as described in their website, for the Culver's Deluxe, they start with fresh, never frozen beef. Layer on real Wisconsin cheese, crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, pickles, sweet red onion and their signature mayo. Then cap with a lightly buttered, toasted bun. It's their ButterBurger® at its best. Although we always do without the mayo, we agree that their burgers are among the best fast-food burgers that we ever had, hot, moist, and tasty. We always order the Crinkle Cut Fries to pair with the burgers. They are hot and crispy, and not overly salted, much better than a lot of the other fast-food joints. Beware that they could be quite addictive! What makes Culver's so fantastic is that they are not just good; their food is always ready in 6 minutes after we order online. So, we always waited until we were ready to head for the pickup before we checked out online! The only complain that I have is their drive through system. I had used the drive through once about 6 months ago on my way home. It was very confusing. The staff signaled me to park at their designated spot but no one handed me the food until I was able to finally flag some staff member down. It was late at night, and all the other cars behind me had food delivered to them and left already. They really need to re-design their drive through system and procedure to make it work perfectly for everyone. For now, we would continue to park in front of their door and get inside to pick up. I am trying to forget the drive through mishap and focus just on the carryout service, which is always perfect and reliable. Their staff are always friendly and welcoming. The majority of my visits to Culver have been above par. Yesterday I ordered a hamburger, vegetable beef soup, and a diet root beer (Culver is the only chain that carry's diet root beer). The only thing that was OK was the diet root beer. The vegetable beef soup was horrible. I threw the soup away and the hamburger was undercooked and cold. If you treat all your customers like this, you will be putting a lock on the door. I guess I shouldn't order soup from a hamburger stand . 2 stars for this visit. read more

This is a new and very nice looking Culver's. It is modern and clean, and cleanliness is paramount. We felt the service was good, and the food across different Culver's is always consistently good. We all had Butter Burgers. I order mine with no cheese and with a gluten-free bun. Everyone else with us had no special requests. Mine came out with cheese on it, but they apologized and replaced it within minutes. And, while I think mistakes like that are careless, I suppose I'm used to it. And, they did correct it quickly and without any comments. So, this is a fine Culver's and one, if we are up that way again, would go to again. read more

Heads up to all delivery drivers! The employees at this location are extremely unfriendly and downright belligerent. They are claiming to act according to management guidelines. They will treat you like a piece of dirt. It seems they already have you convicted, thinking you're going to steal their food. Now I know that it is a problem within the industry that some drivers will help themselves to food rather than to deliver it. But you cannot put everybody in the same basket. They have the driver's names and pictures and they should take that extra step to verify that they're giving the food to the correct person rather than making the driver feel like they are a criminal. read more

Easily the worst Culver's I've ever been too and it's just my luck it's my home town one... the franchise owners should be incredibly embarrassed for the overall service, quality of this specific store. It's an absolute joke. Everything from the cashiers to their over burnt butter burgers to the hand packed frozen custard to go pints that are probably the laziest packed pints. I've gone to this location many times and have had a great service. This day I got Fries with my meal otherwise I usually get a family platter of cheese curds and ranch for dipping. Always get a butter burger is always the best choice. The drive through is always very efficient and you usually get a meal in under 5 minutes depending on the choice you make. This is just a good chain that cooks your meals practically to order. I'm coming back weekly at this point. read more

My boyfriend and I came here for the Curderburgers (basically a typical butterburger with a cheese curd patty on top). We had to bring my little plush Curdis in with us, since we were eating his brethren. When we ordered our food, the manager saw Curdis in my hand (and presumably thought it was cute). We sat down and he came over and asked if I had the female one, Goldie. No, I didn't. He left and brought me a Goldie! Not only was our food good, service was great, but now Curdis has his Goldie! Almost exactly a year later, I came back here and gave this location a second chance. This time we went inside, where we were greeted right away by someone at the counter. Placing our order was quick and effortless. We filled our soda cups and easily found a table. The condiment area and the dining area were all clean. Our food came out quickly and was exactly as we ordered. I had a single cheeseburger with a side of cheese curds and my husband had the pot roast sandwich with a side of cheese curds. Food was hot and good. This was a much more positive experience and I'm more inclined to come back again based on this visit instead of waiting another full year. :) read more

Very disappointed with my visit today to Culver's in Northbrook. Culver's usually inspires good memories for me, but I just want to forget this experience. I went in to get some custard for my kids. They wanted cookie dough, and I wanted the special strawberry and chocolate parfait. The cashier was insistent that they do not allow cones to be inverted into a dish (though this is how I have always had my custard at Culver's and never had an issue). Must be training...so after I explained that I'd like a dish with my cone, they allowed it, but then the cashier insisted that I can't have cookie dough on my ice cream because they can't put it on a cone? I think training was lacking. No problem, I thought, the manager came over to explain that it was possible to the cashier and keyed in the transaction. The custard was already in deep melt when it was handed to me. So as I'm juggling my custard, it's melting rapidly. I thought to test the custard they usually invert it to be sure it holds. Fantastic new Culvers opened in the area. The staff is fantastic here. And the food and drinks are just as good as well. Culvers does not offer an online ordering service but if you want a total contact less transaction you can call your order ahead, pay over the phone and then pick up your order through the drive thru. I am a big fan of Culver's as you can see in my five star review. The ice cream or custard is fantastic if you were an ice cream fan I mean custard. I'm here for the excellent cheeseburgers which they call butter burgers. They offer single burgers double burgers and triple burgers all are prepared to order and all are fantastic. Today at this brand new store that just opened a couple days ago I tried the pork tenderloin sandwich, I highly recommend it. It's huge, much bigger than the bun that it's on.I also tried their buffalo chicken tenders which had a very nice spicy kick to them. I love the menu especially for things that you typically can't get it any other fast casual restaurant. Those items would be a beef pot roast dinner a chop steak dinner beef pot roast sandwich and cheese curds. As far as the frozen custard they offer shakes, malts, sundaes, cones, and you can get a dish of ice cream. Add in hot fudge, butter scotch, chocolate syrup etc. etc. along with fruits and nuts. Although the custard was good I've eaten at various culvers and never had the burger disappointed me more than here. It was so thin I actually deconstructed it to check they hadn't forgotten it. The cheese curds were ok but everything else felt not up to par. I would say eat at culvers but not here yet. They need to fix the issues. 3 stars is being generous. We were celebrating Valentine's Day a few days late (NO JUDGEMENT) wife loves the walleye sandwich and waits all year for them. From the time we were handed the sandwiches, they weren't that hot. Only 7 minutes to get home (in heated vehicle) and sandwiches were only warm. It's a chain and I normally try to avoid chains. However, sometimes my desire for some cream custard needs to be quenched. I have only used the drive through here and my service has always been friendly and the custard has been good. I like that they have the billboard that tells you the flavor of the day without having to turn off the road. That gives me the opportunity to make a split second go/no go decision!
