When a value basket costs 10 bucks, you might need to change the name to reflect reality. The chicken breast is actually pretty good on the sandwich, but nothing makes this sandwich stand out. Pickles do not belong and no sauce is included either. Mashed potatoes were a healthier choice for a side dish, but they weren't that great either. While waiting for a tire repair I took a walk over to Culver's for a little bit to eat. I have been here many times but have only eaten here once! Linda behind thr counter was a sweetie pie. My bunless burger was actually yummy. I was naughty and paired it with some French fries. The lobby was clean and quiet. He said I always pass it and wanted to go. He then said the magic words, "they have a resese custard sundae". Ok bro when are we leaving? First impressions: This store is busy This store is clean Wait time wasn't bad for a Saturday Night at 6PM - 5mins. I ordered a double cheeseburger meal. The meat on the burger has a crispy crust. The onions made my eyes water. This was a great burger. Both my brother and I were surprised how good it was. We both have paid double at pubs and the burgers were not as good. The French fries were big crinkle cut. They had a fluffy interior. I just wish the exterior was a long get more crisp. As for the sundae, I'm not telling how mouth watering good it was. 5 Stars all the way! My butter burger with cheese and my husband's mushroom and Swiss burger were both fantastic. But more than anything, the staff was so friendly! Everybody who was working was smiling and informative to us as this was our first time. They were all multitasking and doing various functions of the restaurant. I love to see that! With time to kill while my car was in the shop, we popped over to Culver's for a bite of lunch. Excellent service, delicious pot roast sandwiches and a chili cheese fries later, we were both stuffed and good to go. I'd recommend culvers and the roast beef sandwich to anyone. read more

24/april/2024 around 10am i was at the surprise Culvers on Bell rd. I had a coupon for 2 for 1 burgers. Soon as i entered the store a young man wished me a cordial good morning, He turned out to be the day manager. As i hadn't read the coupon but placed it on the counter and asked "how much"? The manager rang it up and said the total. That particular day i hadn't taken any extra money with me and my wife had the credit card. Any ways i was a dollar short and thanked him and was about to leave. He said dont worry about it i'll make up the difference. Several of the young men gathered and came up with the dollar. I'm am not a poor man, retired and have done well, This type of reaction from this young man was over the top. OH the burger was excellent, even better than those other Boys, you know. This is a classic fast food place maybe similar to "Freddy's custard restaurant' It's family friendly and has a lot of classic Culver dishes that people who are familiar with the restaurant enjoy. They meet each Burger fresh and they're not huge but they taste good. They have a good tasting pot roast Sandwich it's kind of a Midwest thing and they're fish and chips are just fine as well as their fish sandwich They're custard is really good and I think anyone would enjoy eating custard or having a custard milkshake and really understand that it's a step up from a dairy Queen or a regular milkshake in a restaurant. There can be lines but when I was there they went out of their way to get the orders in sent people out to the parking lot to take orders while people are waiting in line and to get the food out in a timely manner. You got to remember not to go during the busy times. First time at this Culver's. Been going to other locations for years. I arrived before the lunch rush (11AM) on a Tuesday and there were a handful of full tables, mostly local retirees. I ordered a Sourdough Melt, plus Cheese Curds and a large drink for $10.17. The cheese on all of their sandwiches has always been the best cheese Wisconsin offers. The atmosphere at Culver's has always been modern industrial: long benches line the walls, laminated tables scattered throughout the carpet and tile interior. A few TVs dotted the place as unobtrusive elevator music played in the background. My lunch arrived in six minutes, piping hot and delicious. The deep fried curds were lightly battered chunks of Wisconsin cheddar. The bread on my melt was buttered and grilled just right and it was loaded with grilled onions, cheese and beef, exactly as promised. It appeared that Culver's took the older, bad reviews to heart and fixed the issues. I would come back here anytime. read more

Phenomenal experience. Pleasantly greeted by Gabby!!! Lightning fast service. Order made fresh and tasted great. Bathrooms were clean and overall it was a great visit. The cheese curds and the salted caramel custard was a true hit not to mention the root beer float! These guys definitely know how to make you feel good about choosing them. The food was awful and disappointing here is why: - It was cold -The Wisconsin cheese melt beef patties were overcooked and the bread was smashed into the form of carbon - It's very pricey in comparison to other chains - they did not follow instructions - we asked for a plain burger with extra pickles and they added mustard, ketchup and onions. No extra pickles - we waited very long for our food in the driveway - the restaurant itself looks very nice and the advertisement sounds very promising but the food is just not good. read more

Dare I say it? Yeap I'm going to say it. ONE of the best burgers I've had from a fast food joint! They make the food fresh when you order, if you're in a hurry don't come here. Although, my eso hasn't been more than about ten minutes. Their chilli cheese fries are a must! It's been about three years since I stepped foot in Culver's and since my car needed all new tires next door and I had a few hours worth of waiting my son and I walked over to give it another try. I will say it was great to be greeted right away and everyone was very friendly. It took me a bit to look over the menu and then settled on bacon cheeseburger and chicken strips for my son. Everything came out very quickly which was great because we were starving. My burger looked good, but it was only like warm and the cheese cold and unmelted or even really sticking to the meat. Bummer. Flavor was ok. The chicken looked burnt, but it actually tasted pretty good a d not dry at all. The fries were the best part of the meal. Before leaving we ordered two small sundaes. They were pretty yummy, but they melt so fast you can't even get a chance to really enjoy it. To me still a miss and better options in Surprise. read more

We LOVE Culver's! The location is super convenient for us and we love all the menu items so far. We've had the pretzel bites, the butter burgers, the chicken sandwich, the cheese curds, the frozen custard (duh!), but our absolute fave go-to is the Atlantic Cod Dinner. It's big enough for 2 people to share. The coleslaw is so yummy. For fast food, it is a wonderful alternative and the nicest kids work here. They're always super polite and considerate. The owners are often there too and it's obvious they care about their restaurant. read more

OK I came in and rush this afternoon somewhere around 3 o'clock! Georgia who was at the register was absolutely stunningly. Amazing! There was about five of us deep and she stayed with it and just so pleasant so kind took my order and was so attentive! There was another gentleman there, but I really couldn't see his tag, and he was just amazing also! Sat down. I got my food within 3 to 5 minutes easily and the place was packed! The sandwich was made exactly to order I got the fish and yes, delicious! I wasn't even sitting there more than 10 minutes and a gal came by and was asking people if everybody was good. And wiping tables as people were clearing. I will say this has not been my experienceat culvers so I don't know why the three stars? But I will say for me? This place rocks! We stopped in here for a quick lunch before heading to Sedona. I ordered the standard burger with fries and a drink. The burger was very well seasoned and tasty. The red onion was sweet and complemented the meat well, along with the lettuce, tomato, and cheese. It's standard Culvers. Best drive-thru burgers you can get. Buns are flavorful since they are seared in butter, the burgers are tasty and the quality of the patty is definitely there. The thicker crinkle-cut style fries are sometimes a bit too salty but otherwise I've always had a great experience at Culvers. With anything from the burgers and fries, to chicken sandwiches, or even their Beef Pot Roast sandwich. I'm from the Midwest and this chain is at the top of my list. When I went to get them after our meal, I was accused of "stealing" the one that I thought I had paid for. Manager literally gave a nod of approval to the employee accusing me of stealing. I was happy to pay for what I should have been billed for with my order. My objection was being accused of "stealing" something I genuinely thought I had paid for. This is NOT Culver's! Maybe I need to lower my standards in Arizona. Plenty of kids standing around only 2 others working. Concrete custard was more like chocolate milk. When our food was ready the custards were not. Those kids standing around together were "not asked" to make them. The girl just passed it across the counter like everything was OK. The shift lead was there but not there leading. I hear this is the new world we live in. It's not corona, it's not supply chain issues, it's not the great resignation, it's just poor parenting. I see some workers hustling there was definitely only two hustling there tonight. The food was okay, the "concrete custard" was unacceptable, the fact this has happened the last 3 times... Not a fan of their seafood. I tried their North Atlantic 3 piece Cod Dinner and it was disappointing. Each piece was wet and soggy on the bottom. I mean wet. Had to use several napkins to soak up the oil in the bottom of my basket. These pieces should be placed on a small rack right out of the fryer to allow the excess oil to drain off. Everything else was good. Don't think I'll order the Cod dinner again. read more
