Easy to navigate, very clean, calm atmosphere, great prices, and a membership program we wanted to sign up for! Now, here's why this store went from what i would've given 5 stars down to just 1. There were few registers open with long lines and i went during a busy time so i prompted for self checkout....not a problem! Here was my problem. Woman working at the self checkout borderline harasses you. I've never seen anything like it. We waited in line at self checkout while i watched her walk directly behind people and just hover over them like they were stealing items! I watched an older lady ask for assist with her card machine and it took her several times to get the employees attention because the employee was too busy staring down somebody just trying to check out their groceries to see if she could catch them stealing. Finally the employee noticed the older woman and gave this poor woman such a nasty attitude for just needing assistance. Finally it was my turn at the self checkout and had the exact same situation happen with me. I felt like i was committing armed robbery for using a self checkout machine! Paper bags were flimsy, and i watched a girl next to me try to bag her items but the bags kept ripping. The girl finally just took her items in her hands with a massive hole in the bag with all her items falling out of the side and paid and left. I heard the employee make a comment to the customer next to me about her not paying .05 cents for her paper bag that had ripped completely down the side and yelled to the customer that she next time she needs to pay for the ripped bag!!!! I was appalled! Most uncomfortable shopping experience ever. Maybe it's a New York thing. I don't know. Least to say i did not sign up for that rewards program and couldn't wait to get out of that self checkout area! Will definitely be shopping at other grocery stores or might give a different location a try. Hopefully maybe this employee was having an off day...not sure!

Now is the time for Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. There were only three in the hotbox when we arrived at the 67 Stewart's Shop. We took all three. They were extremely warm. When we got in the car with our treasures, we opened the packaging to find each was a healthy portion of chicken in between two waffles. The mapley smell of the waffles hit us first, so we anticipated the sandwich would be really sweet. The reality was that the spicy chicken and the sweet waffles yielded an amazing balance of flavors. While the sandwich certainly could've been crispier, you have to take into account that it is pre-made. It was a delightful treat. Overall, we highly recommend the Spicy Chicken Wafflewich. It thoroughly satiated our morning appetite to prepare us for the big day of fun ahead.

This store has some "your neighborhood grocer" feel to it. Maybe it's because it's not at a super-major intersection or state highway. But I also encountered friendly employees. Several went out of their way to say hi to me and be helpful. Being smaller, you may not find every item, or as much of items in stock compared to other stores. The produce department is certainly smaller, yet still efficient, though some of the produce could have been fresher. All areas of the store were well stocked, and it was quite clean. Though I wonder how much their seafood department can appomplish. I wish the self-checkout area was a bit less cramped as well. An entrance sign on Osborne Rd. would be useful too. Still, it's a decent place to shop.
