There were major issues from the start with them never verifying my insurance benefits, then many scheduling hiccups because they are only in Mechanicsburg two days a week on a schedule that rotates every four weeks. They regularly offer me appointments in Carlisle, which is too far to drive for a 10-minute appointment. The last issue was the confusing way I felt I was basically tricked into buying a second retainer when one was already factored into my upfront costs. The staff seems to turn over so often that I hardly ever saw the same people there from one appointment to the next. Glossner& Mermick was one of the dentist offices that showed up. They werent the first ones i called, however they were the first ones that could see me that day. The dentist i had was dr glossner and i can say i was very lucky to get him as my dentist. Dr glossner is a smart very attentive dentist. He took the time to make sure that the mold of the crown was as near to perfect as you could get. His attention to detail is what really made me comfortable in the dental chair. That said, I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Kiesling and his dental practice. Before yesterday, I have appreciated the semi-annual services I've consumed. They are polite, engaging, and on-time. But before yesterday, I'd not had any work done. I think it's fair to say that I'm no hero when it comes to dentists working on my teeth. I don't know about anyone else's pain threshold, but drilling has always been a nerve-wracking and painful experience; so I wasn't looking forward to having a big old filling replaced and a crack repaired in a different tooth. I needn't have feared, and all my anxiety was for naught. Dr. Kiesling and his assistant were professional and efficient, and I was out of the chair with virtually no pain in what seemed a short time. She is prejudice against people that she thinks does have insurance. I have insurance, but she didn't do her job until I got there. It took 48 minutes to finally verify that I had insurance. By then, it was time for the next patient. Autumn told me that they were not going to clean my teeth and that I had to leave. I drove 2 hours round trip for nothing. Autumn was rude, disrespectful, and talked down to me. She had a chip on her shoulder and a power trip. She should be fired immediately for how she treated me. I will never go back to this dentist office again because of Autumn. There are so many choices of dentists on Linglestowns Road that I don't need this one. I would not even give it one star. Actually it deserves zero stars because the customer service from the employees there is horrible. They are hiring low grade people that don't care about the clients. Autumn bullied and degraded me.
