This was her first time with her own insurance and not being on our insurance.. we didn't believe she received appropriate care and they office staff obviously was trying to extend what she owed not billing to keep her coming so she would owe more.. then they billed and billed .. then took it to small claims court added a bunch more charges and court costs. Well I looked them up on the courts docket and they had quite a lot of people they were suing . This is a money grabbing technique .. BE AWARE THE $250 she owed now they're saying is $450 with court costs and if you don't pay the judge will garnish her wages! They have their own bill collector Shiela they don't send it to collections because they would lose that money... Reconsider going to this office seek out an honest chiropractor.

I met with Dr. Jen and she was fantastic. She listened to all of my ailments and needs and was a huge help. The front desk staff were also very personable from setting up the appointment on the phone to the in-person visit. I plan on making them my permanent chiropractors and making regular visits going forward. :) They even gave me a nice little gift bag on my way out for my first visit. A nice touch to end the appointment. The initial consultation takes an hour as mine included x-rays and an adjustment. During my last couple appointments, I've noticed that it is hard for them to stay on schedule with assigned appointments. I wasn't seen until 35+ minutes after my assigned appointment time. Without insurance, adjustments are $40. With insurance, it depends on your insurance provider.

I was given the same excuse I'm sure everyone gets "I'm sorry we didn't get back to you yesterday but our office is short handed" how can anyone feel comfortable going to this chiropractor's office when they can't even handle a simple phone call back as they said they would do. Being immobile for so long left me with drop foot. I couldn't walk without a brace holding my foot up and a walker. During my nerve test at the hospital, I was told to expect a 1-2 year recovery. Dr. Frank recommended two amazing little machines, used daily, and I was off the walker in 2 weeks and the brace 2 weeks after that. One month after being released from the hospital, having had to crawl up my stairs when I got home, I was able to start working out on my Tonal again. When my husband and I were there for the initial meeting, we specifically asked the Dr. twice: Do we get a refund on unused visits? He just said yes both times. I also asked the receptionist the day of the 1st visit when I handed her the check and she said yes. What was not clear to us is that if you take the discount, then they take the discount off the amount of money you have coming back if you want a refund for unused visits. And according to the contract, you might actually owe them money if you decide to stop the treatment near the very end of the series of visits. That may be hard to believe but that's what the contract states. So, read your contract. Another issue is the quality and handling of medical records. The Before and After X-rays taken by Lake Orion Chiropractic Center are done on old-fashioned films and are not good quality. We wanted copies for our own files but were told that we would have to take a photo of the X-ray with our phone or a camera. Imagine that! In this day when even veterinarians make x-rays and other screenings available in a digital format that they share on thumb drives or CDs or just email them to you promptly! The Dr. should be ashamed at his lack of quality x-rays, especially after being in business so long -- it is not like he is just starting out. It was also difficult to get copies of my medical records. I always like to get copies so I have them in my files at home - that way if I need to share them with another Doctor, or if Lake Orion Chiropractic Center goes out of business, I still have my own copies. But when I asked for copies, I have never heard so many excuses as to why the records are not ready or why they haven't done it. One excuse that surprised me when I asked for copies of the charts: "No one has ever asked us that question." I find that hard to believe, but that still doesn't explain why it took repeated calls and emails and a HIPAA release form to actually get the records. Bottom Line: Buyer Beware
