A fast food take on bibimbap. It was somewhat similar but not quite the same. Service was good and it has fast food chain vibes. It's a bummer all the hot sauces are mayonnaise based. I can't stand mayonnaise. With the teriyaki it just tasted salty. read more

First time visit. The food is decent. I had the Piggy Bop, which is pork of course. There was a rice/cabbage and noodles in the bowl, and they added the pork on top, plus sauces to make it pretty spicy. You pick your own spice level. The pork was tender and tasty, but there was a lot of sauce added. I also ordered a small Mandoo (pot stickers). They were very tasty, with plenty of filling. Not a lot of signage that I saw about Make it a meal with a drink and Mondoo. I could have saved a couple bucks. Maybe they did add it on, but I rarely get a receipt. As usual, the card machine suggested a tip. I dislike that if all they are doing is filling an order while I stand there. There were a couple tables with food scraps on them, but they weren't cleaned while I was there. All in all, a decent place to stop for lunch. read more

We have eaten takeout from here alot. Normally really good. But today the noodles looked different and when I commented, they said it was because fresh batch. Got it home and noodles tasted wrong. Like undercooked. Took it back. They gave us new bowls. Noodles tasted more cooked but still off. I think someone cooked up a batch of glass noodles rather than standard sweet potato noodles. Glass noodles are an option there, but you have to ask for them specially. And to us they are tasteless. Hopefully it was just a fluke but maybe taste the noodles before you leave. Driving back in rush hour to change it out for new noodles that were STILL glass noodles was a bitch. We will give them another try ... read more

Best Asian food in the TV. Seriously. Doesn't matter which one is near your home- just go try it. I'm always sad when they are closed on Sundays, cause that's usually when I want some, but I've never regretted waiting. It really is "Crazy Good." Pro tip- get extra noodles and skip the rice. read more

I love this place but I'm really not a fan of the raising prices and smaller portions. The past three times my bowl has been about 75-80% full. And it's on purpose. They weigh every ingredient. Quit being stingy on rice, noodles, and cabbage. Especially if you're going to raise prices by 15-20%. That's an annoying "combo" I'm not going to bop with again. read more

Definitely not Korean bbq. I've had good Korean bbq and this was not it. At least the pork wasn't. The veggies were good. The rice was good and the little appetizer things are good but the pork with sauce #1 was not. There should be more spice and tang and that's not what I tasted. read more

We used to love Cupbop... about 2 years ago. Now at the Karcher location, the prices have raised by 3 dollars, but the portions have decreased by about 20% or more. Then there's still the sign up asking for a 5 star review for 3 wontons. It's honestly just sad. read more

I finally tried Cup Bop today. I have not eaten here before. It was amazing. I wouldn't go so far as to say better than sex (some one told me this) but it was pretty damn good. I couldn't tell you what I got, some sort of chicken with a chili type glaze, noodles, and rice. The service was also really good. Friendly people, made suggestions, give me a free pot sticker, which was also really good. Overall great job guys. read more

Wow! The service here is amazing. We have never been here before and we will definitely be back. All three employees were very friendly and patient. We had plenty of questions and were very indecisive but they helped us with a smile and didn't rush us at all. The food... we are Korean and I was actually very pleased with the food. The kimchi was really good! We had the Doochi Bop which has fried tofu and kimchi along with the noodles, rice, and cabbage. We ordered without cabbage so I don't know if that was god or not. The noodles were a good texture and were not rubbery at all. The tofu was lightly fried and very good. We even tried the 'Mandoo' and we ended up getting a second order because we all liked it. The restaurant itself was bright and clean. If you're in the area you should definitely try it out. Even if you're not close by I'd say it is worth a drive. read more

Cupbop is a great place to stop for some quick Korean BBQ style fare in Nampa, ID. I enjoyed my Kko Kko Bop for a late lunch when I first got into Nampa for a visit. While I think it could have been improved with a fried egg on top, I give the food 4/5. I would definitely go back! read more

Funky version of street food with a bright happy atmosphere. We sneak in when we can. Pro-tip... 4 is perfect for light spiciness. If you like extra sauce, ask for "extra sloppy." Covid times they are wearing masks, so feel free to come participate. Gluten free? Go for the beef. If gluten is an issue, go for the fried chicken. This is comfort food at its finest. I found their menu kind of confusing at first but the staff is more than happy to describe it in depth and walk you through ordering. I've been to this particular location twice now and the staff here is SO friendly and helpful. The food is really good but the friendly staff is reason enough for me to want to come back. Side note: I thought I was good with spicy food but I got a 4 and couldn't imagine getting one any hotter. read more

I was very disappointed when I came in today it was very busy which is fine but I happen to watch a coworker (Mady) be very rude to another coworker, (did not get her name) by yelling at her for asking how long it was going to be until something was done cooking. The other worker that was helping a customer kind of just shrugged it off, but I could tell she was annoyed or frustrated. The customer ended up yelling at the lady (Mady) who was making food and told her it was very disrespectful and disgusting that she was acting that way. The staff seems toxic. Not my fav place anymore :( read more

They regularly make our orders wrong, we had to wait over an hour for our food once and they gave us a free meal coupon to compensate for it. Then when we try to use the coupon they don't honor it and throw it away. Horrible incompetent staff, clearly mismanaged, and ridiculously irresponsible conduct. read more

My husband and I go to Cupbob once a week or at least try try to. We find the food addicting.There was a couple of times when we did not get the proper amount of chicken in our bowl, 3 to 4 pieces was all we got. Other than that our bowls have been fantastic. We have tried most of the menu but our favorite the rockbob! The sauces really hot the spot. The people seem really nice and friendly. I would recommend this to anybody. read more

This was the second time the Nampa Cupbop has messed up my order. The first time we ordered for pickup they brought out our food and we were missing two meals. We came in and asked about it and they couldn't find it until they looked in the warmer. No apologies just take it and go. We just now ordered Cupbop thru a food delivery service and three of our items were missing. We called and they said they made it so we must have it. Incredibly rude and condescending staff. Usually great food but always terrible service. read more

Staff was very friendly and fast, and the food was really delicious! My friend brought me here and I'm so happy she did. The seating area was clean and tables were ready for use. Signage for what you can order is front and center and if you have a question about all the sauces, the staff is quick to answer. If you like spicy sauces that increase the heat as you eat, I'd choose a heat level of 7.5 or higher. 7.5 seemed to be the happy medium of spice and flavor. I will definitely be back! read more

HOT BOP HOT BOP HOT BOP!! I've only managed to go up to level 7, and the sauces and everything here is AMAZING! I was introduced when I went to the food truck on BSU's campus, but the only storefront I will go to is the one in Nampa. Why? Because one of their employees, Dominic, makes my visits worthwhile. He is the most attentive, considerate, and thoughtful person I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with. The two other prom moms got General's chicken and a sushi roll. For starters we got the fried green beans and calamari. The wait on the appetizers seemed long. Nothing is more annoying than not being able to enjoy your starter cause your dinner was right behind it. 2 fried green beans were brought out. We had to call the server and ask about the calamari. We were confused if that was 1 appetizer of fried green beans split into 2 plates for easier sharing or if it was actually 2 orders. Well, it was 2 orders so the extra portion was taken back. The calamari did come out shortly but was fast considering we waited so long initially for the appetizers come out. I didn't try the appetizers but from what was being said the fried green beans were good and they have had better calamari. As fast as that calamari came out, I'm sure it was prepared quickly. Not taking the normal time to actually prepare something that could turn into rubber if it's not cooked properly. Dinner came out shortly. My dish looked really good. There was bright green pieces of asparagus. A few hearty chunks of cauliflower. I noticed quite a few shrimp and a decent amount of chicken. My dish was good. The veggies were fresh and crispy. The sauce was on the sweeter side but still tasted good. The shrimp was tender but did have a fishy scent to them. The chicken could have been velveted. It was white meat and we all know white meat can lean towards the drier side. I think velveting could have fixed that. I did ask for extra chicken and in all honesty I don't think I really got the extra I had ordered. Service was decent. The timing of the appetizers and food could be worked on. Some communication between employees would have been nice for more organization. I came here for lunch and wasn't impressed with portion sizes and I will have to say I wasn't impressed with the dinner portion either. It's cool that I got to come back and vibe with my family tonight. It was busy so it's great to see that people are out supporting their local Asian restaurant.
