The claim is that you still get the euphoric body high without hallucinating. I was skeptical, but also saw some online reviews touting the effectiveness of these exact products so I decided to give it a try. I went down and found they had microdose gummies, but the better value was the chocolate bar. I paid $60 for what was supposed to be the equivalent of 6 grams of mushrooms. The staff were great and I even learned that I could have them shipped to me in SC since they were legal and I was looking forward to purchasing more. That evening I was out with a friend having dinner and drinks when I took four squares, a light dose. I didn't really feel anything, but I chalked it up to also drinking and not being in the right environment. The next night I got home early and decided I would enjoy some chocolate and watch a movie. I started out by eating a good amount and then decided what was left wouldn't be worth saving so I ate the rest of the bar... sixteen squares in total (there was 20 in the bar). This should have been the equivalent to about 5 grams of mushrooms which should definitely have a noticeable effect. Unfortunately, I did not feel a thing. Actually before the doctor even came in the nurse said I seemed eligible. Six months down the road my prescription expires. They want $99 to renew it. The doctor who barely looked at me and signed me up. So you're asking me to pay you $150, the state $100, and $100 every six months.. to buy weed. Please jump into the nearest lake. Also for a month after I signed up they would not answer the phone. Not sure why. Had to call five locations to get someone to pick up. Places like this are just a temporary middle man until recreational is legalized. Making tons of money off of people who want to get high. Meanwhile the dispensaries have extremely limited options, have lines out the door (thanks to literally anyone being accepted into the program), and I NEVER RECEIVED MY CARD. Had to open up my email every time I walked into the dispensary.
