My daughter went to the South Center location to get Euro's for my first trip to Europe. She came home with six 50.00 euros. I had sent a list with her as far as the smaller denominations I wanted. Whoever helped her just said that that was all he had, and made no effort to give her what I asked for. I called, and he would not let me trade the six 50.00 euros for smaller denominations. Then I went to the Alderwood Mall. What a DIFFERENCE. the gentleman that helped me (Bahram Shabani) was totally different. He said he would trade the larger bills for smaller denominations, just give him until the next day. I went in, and he kindly traded the 50.00 euros for the smaller bills and coins I wanted. I'm from out of town, went in to exchange Canadian dollars back to US before returning home. True to their word, CEI accepted the rate quote that I had received from BOA the night before, then looked up and honored the current BOA rate which had risen a bit. Awesome! My Latino friend is excited to go Vietnam for the first time and he was trying to be well prepared for his trip so he went to this place to get his money exchanged. He exchange $1000 USD and he only get 15,600,000 VND while the market rate was $23,400,00 VND. My friend did not know there was a huge different the day he exchanged and the employee did not mention how much lower rate their company sell for Vietnamese currency. So my friend came home and told us the amount he got exchanged so we came back they not willing to refund and only offer $600 for $1000 worth originally. People would said the rate change everyday, yes but only few hundreds different from the day he exchanged up to date. This company is a huge SCAM!!! read more

Checked the Alderwood Mall location hours on a Tuesday, cxi hould be open, drove 30 miles only to find 4 other people waiting and wondering where the cxi employees were, sign on the booth said they should be open. Being it was a Sunday, the banks were closed and so I wanted to get some C$ before heading on up. Found this place on the way up, so decided to stop by. Wasn't looking to get too much, as I was going to be there during the week and would probably get a more favorable rate up there, but the friendly gal at the booth was able to get me enough to get by and with the Yelp! checkin discount, the fees were cut by 1/2. Reserved currency on line. Tried to pick up twice at Southcenter location during posted business hours. That location was closed both times. I called the Alderwood location and provided my order information. I was told that they could fulfill my request so I drove an hour there only to learn they could not fulfill my order after all. There was no line when we went to exchange money for our Canada trip. The rates were better than what my bank was offering, so that's why I decided to come to this location instead, and you can check it on their website beforehand too. The transaction was quick and easy and the worker was helpful in letting us know the rates and that if we kept our receipt, that we could exchange back to USD without a fee. He also warned us that they don't take most coins, so make sure to spend all of that! My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to hear through the glass among the rest of the noise in the mall, but it can't be helped given its location. read more

Very poor exchange rate...the dollar to euro rate on 9/17/2019 was .89, their rate was .80 with an additional transaction fee. Just got basic tip money and will exchange at an international bank bank in Europe. read more
