The building is inviting, we met family for our Daughter's birthday, we had never been here or tried Indian food. This was such a great way to be introduced to a new cuisine. Here is a feedback sandwich since most staff is less than professional or honorable as American business owners operators and "citizens." Many are young and here is their chance to be better. They were not all bad. Some gals were sweet and the waiter and greeters WERE fake nice until after we ordered. The kitchen runner was very pleasant with an authentic (seeming) smile. So. The decor is pretty nice. It could be kept up a bit more and the cleanliness checked up on but the TVs with their content and the colors and bathrooms were great. What I could see of the kitchen looked well-organized, very clean and tidy and equipped and stocked well. The food was pretty good. It looked good and had some good flavors and layering going on and it was creative. Good menu and decent execution. The issue here is I was treated badly with harassment and abuse. I felt sick after having some food and my drink with heart palpitating. Everyone working there at one point including people coming out of the kitchen were on their phone. They laughed that it upset me as this is often done as electronic harassment. The lady in the corner sitting there sure seemed to be talking to her handler. This country doesn't need people here with no love or integrity picking on a good and innocent person with her husband trying to enjoy the culture and a food we both love. I am documenting my abuses and I hope that punishment is ensued and that more can be here doing their part with great food and love and pride or else you should not be able to be thriving. This is not what our country is built up to be like. Keeping this up will be bad with dire consequences for all in this society. Shame! We've been to many restaurants and buffets especially in the Lakeland area but Curry Mango beats them all in both quality of food and customer service! We are always amazed at the consistency of both. We are greeted at the door most often by Simi with a great big smile and she even memorized our drink order after only the first two visits. The food is amazingly flavorful and well balanced. The portion sizes are just right and you definitely get your money's worth! 10/10 would recommend and take guests here on their visit as it is now our weekend staple!! In the area and decided to give Curry Mango a try. The restaurant was relatively crowded for a random Tuesday evening, but has quite a bit of seating so we got a table right away. The servers were friendly and efficient. The food was decent. We shared the tandoori kebab platter to start and had it with naan. It came with 9 kebabs which were juicy and flavorful. The restaurant is following the CDC guidelines. The staff was wearing their masks. For appetizers, we ordered the Mango Chutney Wings with ranch dressing on the side and Naan bread- it was-AWESOME!!!. The chicken wings were perfect! I am very particular about my chicken wings. There were 18 of us, and when we walked in, not only did our party say surprise, but the staff was lined up to greet him, and play happy birthday! Finally a quality spot for Indian food in Lakeland! My wife and I visited for the first time this evening for dinner. I tried the Mango Lassi, Garlic Nan, and Lamb Vindaloo. Every item was delicious. The Mango Lassi was thick, rich, and yogurty with sweet mango flavor. The Garlic Nan was soft and full of garlic flavor. The Lamb Vindaloo was full of tender meat and soft and savory potatoes covered in a creamy, spicy and flavorful Vindaloo sauce that soaked up nicely with the side of rice. I will be visiting Curry Mango frequently to get my fix for delicious Indian food. read more

Short summary: called in and placed pick-up order, place is spacious, has a decent liquor bar, food was good but small portions and was kind of soggy and warm. Probably will not re-order from here. So this place just opened up and we live in the apartments across the street from it so we've been eyeing it for quite some time since the construction started. My boyfriend and I figured we would wait until the hype died down before we tried it. We called in an order at 5:30 pm and was told that it will take about 40 minutes. I'm a stickler for punctuality and arrived right at 6:10 pm. The food was sitting on the counter ready to go. We had ordered multiple dishes: 5 pc chutney wings in mango flavor, 5 pc chutney wings in mirichi flavor, chilli chicken, roti, garlic nan, chili nan, curry mango chicken curry, chicken tikki masala, and chicken vindaloo. Upon arrival, I noticed the chili nan was not on the bill. I spent about $70 total which I wasn't surprised because the prices were on the online menu. I was, however, surprised at how light the bag felt considering we had ordered 3 entrees and some appetizers. So we get home (a whole 1 minute drive) and we unpackaged everything. We were slightly disappointed about the amount of chicken that was in each entree we had ordered. It looked like it was one whole chicken tenderloin chopped up into five pieces per entree. The food was warm and our chicken wings were a bit soggy so I'm not sure if it actually took 40 minutes to prepare. The chicken vindaloo has like one piece of potato in it (figured there'd be more based on the description). We actually intentionally ordered a lot so that my boyfriend would have something to take for lunch the next day but we finished most of it. Luckily we had ordered the roti and nan (just because we were big fans of it) or the entrees would've been a little too much to eat by itself. We didn't find any of the claimed spicy dishes particularly spicy, but then again, my boyfriend is Laos/Thai and they eat asshole burnin' hot. As stated above, we mostly likely would not order here again. I would recommend that they consider serving rice with their entrees to make it a little more appealing for the price. read more

There was a bit of a wait to be seated but every new restaurant in Lakeland seems to be packed for the first few months after opening. This restaurant is way down South Lakeland so I wasn't aware of its existence. But it was recommended by a neighbor so we went for a first visit a couple of days ago. Easy to find on South Florida Avenue and plenty of parking, We were greeted and seated immediately. The decor is modern, the seating is mostly booths, it is spacious and clean. The service is great and the waiter was very friendly. My friend was very happy to see so many vegan options on the menu. Our food arrived quickly, it was freshly cooked and hot and all items were delicious. It is probably the best Indian food I've had in the US. Portion size is good and it is reasonably priced.
