Just back from buying a laptop, only continued with sale as £20 cheaper than Amazon which is a first for me.
Walked in, picked out laptop within five minutes, asked a staff member to get me one, he does.
Takes me to a table to complete sale, PC not working, we go to till, no big deal.
Asks if I need anything else, I see a sellotape stand and ask if they do wrapping paper, they do not.
He processes laptop, asks for my details 'for the receipt'. I ask if it is for marketing as this is what Argos do, he replies:
"Well if you're going to be one of those arseholes I will just take it back then" - he then scurries off to the storeroom like a little bitch, laptop in hand.
I go to Manager, he goes to find him, guy is literally hiding through the back somewhere as Manager can't find him.
Manager brings back laptop, I buy it, will use Amazon primarily from now on even if I do ever find them dearer.
