Both times I had my car there for a Mercury insurance claim, they contacted me and said my car was ready for pickup. When I arrived, the painted area wasn't even wiped down, much less washed. I was told I could bring it back later for the finish detail. Paint repair was poor quality on my 2019 BMW. I would not go back again. read more

They deemed my car unsafe to drive without the mirror and said I could leave it there and they would take care of it. In 9 days I picked up my car satisfactory repaired. Smooth easy and satisfied. A definitive five stars for Eddie and Custom Auto Craft. I had used them several years before and approached them after my parked 2000 Mercedes SL 500 was sideswiped by a truck and totaled. I was on the verge of losing my car that had for almost 20 years. But I reached out to Eddie. "Eddie, help save my car." I took the insurance buy out from my insurance and Eddie repaired my car for less than the buy out. He gave me a firm price that he held to. He repaired the car quicker than he said he would. I just got my car back from Custom Autocraft two weeks ago after a car accident. They got it back to me before the projected date, which I was ecstatic about. Fast forward to today, it is a holiday weekend and we are off on a trip to the Bay Area when we started experiencing some overheating problem. We called the dealer and they diagnosed the issue over the phone and let us know it was most likely missed during the repair to the car and to call the auto body shop. I was bracing for the worst as I understand the issue of having driven it away from them already but man, this place pleasantly surprised me!! I am currently sitting waiting in my car in the middle of a McDonalds parking lot in the middle nowhere because this place not only accepted the fact that they might have missed something and apologized, they are sending a tow truck and a rental car to me in the middle of nowhere to make sure we are not driving our car back and risking our safety. Arno, who was our point person, could give a master class in customer service. He went more than above and beyond for us. We told him we would drive back and cancel our travel plans, not even upset, and he would not allow us to cancel our plans and miss out on the holiday weekend. He remembered, without even mentioning that I have a child, that he especially didn't want my little one to miss out on our holiday travel plans. In a world where "rip-off artists" is the operative word, I have to say that these guys are the best. The countless times I have screwed up my car b/c I ran into yet ANOTHER IMMOBILE OBJECT and then showed up at Custom Auto, are numerous but I have always left a happy customer. They are authorized by Mercury Insurance and many others, I only know about Mercury b/c that is who covers my car. You know what I love most about Custom Auto Craft? I never have to pay. Not because I'm so buxom and they're icky men, but because this is the place I take my car when I know insurance (Mercury) will cover it. (but I am buxom) I've had 2 accidents - one was a hit and run (ok, ok, the parking arm in the garage hit me and I ran away... embarrassed), the second was a legit accident - some dude side swiped me and screwed up my alignment. Both times I brought my car to Custom Auto Craft because ...well who the hell knows? But I did, and they were fast with the estimates and repairs, the girl who worked behind the desk was super friendly, and they are across the street from an Enterprise Rental Car place. Custom Auto Craft does great work and delivers quickly. I came in to have my front bumper smoothed out and painted for a minor accident. In less than 2 days they fixed my bumper and cleaned my car inside and out on the house. I later realized that they even went through the trouble to smooth out the dents, nicks, and scratches on my rear bumper without asking (not part of the claim). INCREDIBLE SERVICE!!!!!! Lucy went above and beyond to accommodate me recently. I was rear ended which is a nightmare in itself and the person at faults auto insurance sent me to custom. Not only did they completely repair damages, they went around my car repairing any other minor fixes needed ie: My lights Had fogged up and now they look brand new, my body kit pegs had snapped and they re fastened it around the entire car. My car was side swiped in a parking lot. Damage was lots of scratches and small dents which needed to be repaired. Insurance company suggested Custom Auto Craft and since they had worked on a couple of my cars over the years, I decided that they would do the repair. Service is amazing! I was greeted by name by their estimator, Lucy. She did the estimate and emailed it to me within two hours. I was told the repair would take about six days. This auto body shop is an authorized body repair by my auto insurance company. But I confidently returned there after my last minor accident because they did such a great job the first time I was there (about 4 years ago.) Again, the service was excellent. The staff is really nice. My car was repaired ahead of schedule and looked perfect. Although I only had to pay my deductible, the full estimate to repair the body damage was extremely reasonable. Nobody wants to have to handle the hassle and inconvenience of visiting an auto body shop. However, if you are in that situation, I cannot recommend any place more highly than Custom Auto Craft. read more

Custom Auto Craft is a fantastic auto repair collision center! Their customer service was on point the entire time my SUV was being serviced. Eddie, the Office Manager, was super communicative from the moment I dropped off my vehicle until I picked it up. I received regular emails from him and phone calls with updates on the progress of the repair. Although my repair took longer than expected due to part delivery delays because of the pandemic, they did a great job at keeping me in the loop and made sure they were doing everything they could to stay on track. Lucy, the appraiser, was also very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. But the service I received at Custom Auto Craft was phenomenal and definitely deserves to have their accolades shared. Someone had broken into my car by bashing in my window a couple of months ago. My car was a mess and it was right before the Memorial Day weekend. I was referred here by my insurance company. They were one of the only places able to take my car in immediately since it was a couple of days before the holiday weekend and we called a lot of shops closer to where I lived. Everyone I interacted with here was extremely kind and understanding even with me being all flustered from the situation. Not only did they get everything done in a timely manner and kept me in the loop they went way above and beyond. My battery happened to die while it was in the shop so they replaced it for me free of charge. Between this auto shop and my insurance company, dealing with the aftermath of such a violating situation was pretty painless and seamless. read more

These guys are awesome! My insurance company sent me there when I destroyed the driver side door on my new Volvo C30, and consequently needed new panels. That was a pain but they did a great job and I was really pleased. Fast forward a few months and the door wasn't closing all the way. It would stick out just a little and little chips were accruing. I took my car back and they went above and beyond. Apparently this happens in a lot Volvos, so it wasn't necessarily their fault, but they still fixed it and made sure I was a satisfied customer. The folks here are amazing, especially Eddie &Lucy . This was my first auto accident ever & I was totally freaked by the anticipated process until I took my Prius to them. They presented the estimate, making certain that I completely understood all my options. Eddie & Lucy assured me that the car would look great, that all the paperwork to Mercury Insurance would be handled by them - Eddie even was kind enough to give me a ride home! I received status updates every Tuesday & Thursday. They were able to complete the work not in the initial projected work time of 3 weeks, but In around 10 days! When I went to pick up my car, I could hardly believe my eyes! My car looked absolutely FANTASTIC! The interior was detailed - no simple task since my 2 yr old grandchild managed to leave a mountain of graham cracker crumbs behind. They also filled up my gas tank! But that's what makes Custom Auto Craft stand out. Seriously, you can believe the hype here. Their customer service is so beyond anything I've ever experienced, it's ridiculous. They've gone completely and totally out of their way to help me in numerous ways to take all the pain out of the process. They've even driven me home if I needed it while waiting for my repair (I admittedly live close by, but still...). I just can't say enough about how wonderful the entire group of people working here are. It's like the Disney of auto body shops. Plus, they contract with my insurance (Mercury) so they warrant all the repairs through insurance. You'd have to be an idiot to not take your car to this place. They're honest, fair, extremely quick, friendly, genuinely caring, and fun to be around. And their repairs are solid and well-done. Lucy is always smiling, which makes the place feel warm, an unusual experience for a body shop. I don't like saying bad things about anyone, but feel that based on my experience here, I should warn those who are considering taking their vehicles in for repair here. When my car was parked in the lot, the elderly father of one of the employees backed into my car. After initially claiming it wasn't their fault, several nasty phone calls from one of the employees expecting me to run out to pick up a part for the car they damaged, rude comments about my friend who was in the car at the time, and their threat to charge me for time the car was in the lot, and not offering a rental vehicle while I didn't have a car, all after we were trying to make their lives easier by not running them through the insurance/legal gauntlet when they knew full well they were at fault, I knew these guys did not understand customer service at all. To make matters worse, when I got my car back, they didn't touch the extra scratches that I offered to pay for, my alarm no longer worked, and the windshield wiper and power steering fluids were empty, when they were working and full when I brought the car in. When I called to ask about how to turn the alarm back on, not placing blame on anyone after all this (I didn't care about the fluids which are cheap), the manager interrupted me and verbally attacked me. I can't see how a business like this can operate if they treat their customers (or potential customers) so awfully. ESPECIALLY after causing so much grief in the first place. I'm a reasonable guy, so I was quite disappointed by my experience at Custom Auto Craft, to say the least. read more

The worst experience! I walked in and had to wait for a woman outside (Lucy?) to finish sunning herself, no greeting from anyone inside the office. When she did come in after a few minutes she had an impatient/rude attitude. I asked her about the estimate process and she bullied and pressured me about getting my repairs done right away. She then told me she was TOO BUSY to get me an estimate and she would have to wait and do it later but i could leave my car there. I told her i was on my lunch break and she said "oh i guess you can just wait while i take pictures then". She took pics and told me she would email me when she had time...no need for such rudeness for an estimate. Honestly, THE WORST. Went down the street to Paulee's and it was SUCH a better experience. :( read more
