I took my older model car here to have the info screen replaced and a new infotainment unit installed. They did it quickly and left my car clean. When we had trouble connecting my android phone to the unit they worked with me as long as it took to resolve it. These guys are serious about customer service and their work is really exceptional. My 2013 Civic had a parasitic electric leak with the clock/backup screen, the result of a poorly installed cheap head unit bought on Amazon and locally installed in Boca Raton. My mechanic said it was the head unit and the installer should address that. The original installer offered no help stating the original unit was crap and the warned me, basically they said they weren't interested in helping. I discovered Custom Car Works on line. Jacob was very helpful and agreed that the cheap head unit was likely at fault. We discussed options and agreed on a unit and price I dropped the car on Tuesday and picked it up on Wed. Jacob spent almost an hour going over the operation of the head unit along with the new rear camera. The faulty parasitic clock issue is no more and the head unit is top notch. Jacob also pointed out a bare wire on previous installation and noted a faulty wiring which was likely the source of my problem. These guys are real pros and I would recommend them based on my experience with them. read more

These are my go to people for car stereo work. I brought in a retro SXM antenna I got on EBay and thought it would be a simple swap. It wasn't and my "stylish" antenna ended up being a piece of crap. I took my FJ Cruiser in today on no notice because the stereo I had installed in Detroit was not turning off with the car, unresponsive, etc. basically Bad News Bears for a car battery if left unattended. I called ahead of time with the problem and the gentleman told me to come in and he would take a look at it. I did, and he immediately went out to my truck, found the reset button, showed me how to reset the stereo (absolutely nothing wrong with it other than computer blip) and said "There, now I don't have to charge you." I LOVE THIS PLACE! HIGHLY recommend for anything you need for your vehicle. The lobby is a pretty fly place to sit and stare at speakers as well. Go to the best first. So... My CD player in my car wasn't working. I went to Custom Car Works and the gentleman stopped what he was doing and came out to the parking lot, got into my car and started pressing buttons. They installed a new master unit (radio, apps, etc) and backup camera. It was like having a new car. One piece, unrelated to the system, was unavailable for the dash at the time of install. They ordered the piece and said to bring the car back when it arrived. They would charge us for the piece, but not the labor because they did not have it at the time of the unit install.
