I engaged Sisler Builders to help fix a roof ice dam (damn) that was destroying our roof and…read morestarting to create water damage. They proposed an energy efficiency study first - at a nominal fee to provide the analytical data on what needed to be done that made the most sense financially in terms of fixing the problem as well as overall energy efficiency payback. The analysis came back with a menu of - some smaller, some larger. All of the projects met the criteria for Efficiency Vermont for a rebate (amounted to almost 10% of the cost) and Sisler would handle all of the paperwork. We did all of it including substantial air gap sealing and roof insulation. The guys were very professional and accommodating - they agreed to free up the cabin one weekend by moving their equipment out so we could use it. They then did a post construction energy audit. We had forecast a 35 % reduction in air flow. Instead we got 55%. I just got the note from Efficiency Vermont that we are getting our full rebate plus a $500 bonus. One more note - I'm a remote owner of this cabin and being able to trust these guys was really important. I never lost any sleep. I highly recommend Sisler for all construction projects - large or small - from 7 figure house construction to a bathroom remodel and especially energy audit and remediation work. I'll use them again anytime.

Many other items were missing from my garage including a brand new $1000 Cherry Wood Cabinet. We purchased it but didn't have it installed. It's gone. We experienced leaks, defective electrical switches and subpar service. These guys are wanna be contractors. This work doesn't meet the standards of a professional plumber or licensed electrician. The quality of the work is that of an amateur.
