Called and got a person that told me to use the online (bookedby.com) booking and only got no available appointments for the day or the next 30 days. Unpleasant experience. That black lady (her name started with M) clearly doesn't know how to do or have any experience to do haircut. I wanted a nice haircut that what I wanted. And she shaved off my hair off. I almost had a bald head. Very disappointing. Never use this place again. read more

The place is decorated to look like a garage. There is actually a car on display. They do not take appointments, but do allow call ins. So call and they will put you in line so you don't have to sit and wait so long when you get there. There has always been three or four barbers there every time I am there. When it's your turn you can take the next available or wait for your preferred barber. I recommend this place completely, with no reservations. read more

A great place to get a haircut. Focus is on boys and mens. Cars and license plates all over the shop which adds a cool touch. They will keep track of what you like to have done with your hair so when you come in next, they have it in a system to where it's described exactly how you want it cut. The basic cut is very affordable. They have some extra things like washing of the hair, warm towel on face and shoulder massage for a little bit more. But if you're a first timer, that is provided for you at no extra cost. The staff at the shop are great. Starting with the owner, Priscilla, they are friendly, can cut all sorts of hair and all sorts of styles and they are really good about remembering customers names and things about them and their family. Newton has supported their shop very well and for good reason. They know what they are doing, they do it well and they have fun while doing it. read more

I'd never heard of them before. Was driving to Wichita and had time to kill, so stopped in. No wait, super fast, and a great hair cut. Even good small talk. Not a requirement by any means but sure is appreciated. If I'm in Newton again, I'll be back. read more
