DO NOT BRING A MAC COMPUTER HERE. If I could have put zero stars I would have. The hell I went…read morethrough is long (read if you wish), but I never leave reviews so know my frustration is very justified, and I just really don't want anyone else experiencing this terrible customer service. The short of the problem is there is a huge disconnect between the front staff and technicians, so not only do your requests not always get to the technicians, but there is very little information given back to you on what was done with your laptop. Hopefully most mac users know to use a mac certified shop, but if not please learn it here (my boyfriend picked the shop else I would have never brought it here in the first place). Now to explain the specific rollercoaster I had. I have a 2015 mac and went in to get a diagnostic on the battery, and IF a replacement battery will fix the problem then I wanted to put a larger hard drive in. I showed up and all the above was done, but no communication was given to me because the front staff never knows anything so I just assumed this meant the battery would be fixed. Then i proceeded to bring my laptop back THREE times over the spring because the battery was actually worse, which was incredibly time consuming for me to do since I live 1.5 hr away. One of these times was completely wasted because apparently they didn't even look at the battery but only the other minor request I had. Finally I took it for a second opinion and they said they had put in a hard drive with an adaptor that pulls from the battery which is why it was always dying, I then emailed them multiple times with my solution and plan to buy the correct hard drive online, and then bring it to them to exchange so they could take back the original unit. After many emails and only one useless response I decided to do it myself and just return the hard drive to them, but despite my warning of what I was going to do they of course wouldn't accept the return because I had removed it instead of them. So I have now almost spent enough to have just purchased a new laptop.

As a visitor working in the Hat and a normally a regular costumer at a Calgary bike shop my decision to make this purchase at Cyclepath Medicine Hat was their humbleness to the casual drop in customer just looking around like i did and not throwing fancy bike tech terminology around because they could, the conversation flow with the staff member i had when in there to buy my first ever "Riding Bibs" was one of genuine interest for the sport witch led to me joining there spin classes Thursday evenings (its always fantastic) they have a relationship with the 670 Mtn Bike Club as well, and have they have bike rides with them during the summer (awesome). When i had expressed an interest in a fat bike they asked me if had the time to demo the Fat Bike by riding around the area of Elk Water with the Owner! i was expecting to just give it a whirl around the parking lot but hey to the deep snowy trails i went with Greg, him driving and being the host and talking about the Norco factory the Bionx abilities Fat bikeing and of course the side by side trail riding thru hub deep snow with bran-new Fatties and no commitment to buy...who does that sort of thing anymore? i didn't have a proper bike rack for my new bike so they sent Me home with their loner until mine comes in,wow... who does that sort of thing? the boys at Cyclepath in Medicine Hat do, that much i know. we did buy a package fridge range and dishwasher on March 7, 2026. the fridge we got in a week the…read moreway they told us and They said 2 to 3 weeks for the dishwasher and range but that took till May 7 2026 and they send us a different dishwasher than what we ordered. Not happy about it we had to do dishes by hand for two months if somebody is looking for appliances right away, don't go to the brick. We will not go back there again.
