The packaging here keeps them in good shape, tightly packed and with just enough room to breathe so that they don't get wet and slimy. I try to consume a small tub of mushrooms in a week or less. The museum is one small room with an area where you can see mushrooms growing. The gift shop comes with several small rooms and every item imaginable with mushrooms in or on it. We walked away with $10 mushroom earrings for my wife, mushroom-shaped salt and pepper shakers, and a mushroom popsicle for our seven-year-old daughter. Checking in on Yelp unlocks a free jar of garlic mushrooms with a purchase of $15 or more.
