Me and my boyfriend love play port! It's always a good time. We plan on coming back for more…read more When I CALLED them around 3 pm today to ask when they close they told me (10 pm). We showed up to play port around 8 PM today. I was EXTREMELY UPSET and CONFUSED that I had a worker come up to me (out of the blue ) today and say to me that they are closing at 9 PM because "IT'S SLOW". I rarely complain, but to me that just seems (lazy) when people pay money and are using your games until close. Just let them play! Really guys an hour until close and you do that?

We have been here before, but it was years back, and I've got to say..they totally stepped it up!…read more We brought my son, and two other of his young friends on Wednesday...naturally, one of the kids left their whole cup of coins on a game..and it disappeared in a second. I went to see if, perhaps, someone turned it in. No one did, but the staff (without asking or expecting anything!!!) went and got me ALL of my tokens reimbursed! They were fricken awesome and so accommodating ...plus, they were insanely busy! Also, they had such patience while the kids ..very carefully picked their prizes. I give them all props! Great team, and very kind, understanding, patient, hard-working staff!!! And the boys LOVED lazer Tag!! Keep up the good work! Plus, I am a product of the 80s and 90s..so I love the nostalgia it brings....phyical tokens & tickets.....and actual attainable prizes :)

If you're looking for a quiet afternoon of 10-pin and bonding with your grandmother, GreenGarden…read moreBowling Lanes is... an experience. I didn't just get a workout; I got a front-row seat to the lore of the "King of the Gutter." The Encounter While helping my nan pick out a 6lb ball, I was cornered by a man who can only be described as "aerodynamically round." This local legend spent twenty minutes explaining that he once bowled a perfect 300, but alas, "cameras weren't invented back then" (or some such logic), so I'd just have to take his word for it. He informed me that he's the best bowler in town and runs a tavern, which I assume is where he practices his other hobby: telling tall tales. The "Unc" Factor The wildest part? He's apparently a local celebrity. Every five minutes, a group of teenagers would walk up, call him "Unc," and dab him up like he'd just signed a multi-million dollar contract. I don't know if he's actually their uncle or if he just dispenses questionable wisdom in exchange for respect, but the "Unc" energy was off the charts. The Great Betrayal The vibe turned sour when I accidentally got into a groove. I rolled three strikes in a row (pure luck, honestly), and "Unc" lost it. He couldn't handle the competition. He went straight to the owner and claimed I was using illegal bumpers. The owner--who apparently values Unc's tavern stories over physics--actually kicked me and my grandmother out! Apparently, at GreenGarden, talent is a bannable offense if it hurts the local legend's feelings. The Grand Finale As we were being escorted out, Unc pointed to the sleek black Mustang parked right in front of the doors. "That's my ride," he bragged, adjusting his belt. "Built for speed." It was a beautiful car, truly. It's just a shame that "speed" wasn't happening today because the front wheel had a massive yellow boot on it. I guess even the "best bowler in town" can't strike his way out of unpaid parking tickets. Summary: Go for the bowling, stay for the delusions of grandeur, but leave your skills at home if you don't want to be framed for "Bumper Fraud." Pros The Entertainment Value: You get a professional-grade comedy show for the price of a shoe rental. Watching a man claim a Mustang with a boot on it is peak cinema. Nan's Workout: My grandmother got some great cardio in while we were being chased out by the "Bumper Police." The Social Scene: If you're looking to get "dabbed up" and integrated into the local "Unc" hierarchy, this is the place to be. Easy Parking: Well, easy for some. There's always at least one black Mustang taking up a prime spot indefinitely. Cons The "Unc" Tax: If you bowl better than a turkey, expect to be reported to management for "technological interference." Strict Bumper Policy: Apparently, having a high skill ceiling is considered a "cheat code" by the local tavern owner. Management Bias: The owner seems to believe the word of a man who hasn't seen a 300-game since the Triassic period over the literal laws of physics. Short Visit: Don't get too attached to your lane; if you hit three strikes, your night is effectively over.

I had covid so this is the first time I've been without long nails since I was like 13yo. I was testing negative, feeling better, and stir crazy from being stuck inside. I started googling things to do and absolutely fell in love with this gem of a bowling alley. The place is a beautifully maintained antique bowling alley. It's so much fun! I haven't bowled since I was 12yo, but was having such a blast we bowled 3 games! Super friendly welcoming owner/bartender/alley attendant. Polished beautiful lanes. Huge selection of clean shoes and balls. $4 a person a game! $1 to rent shoes a game. Free pencil and score paper. Free barrow a ball areas. $3.50 ice cold yuengling bottles! They have a full bar, snacks, and milkshakes. All very reasonably priced! Spotlessly clean well maintained antique chairs&score tables. Spotlessly clean dry carpets vacuumed and disinfected after you leave your boots at the door and walk in in your socks. Hand sanitizer at the bar and tables by the lanes. Great classic rock music really makes you feel like you're in the 60s and 70s. They open at 2pm and open the full bar at 2pm too. I had so much fun I'm waiting to get my nails done so I can go play there again. I'm a nail girl so that's saying A LOT. I can't recommend this place enough!

The owner, Bill Pownall, is a great guy who knows more about bowling and what balls to buy than anybody I know. The place originated as a bar, but was turned into a bowling alley, which means that there is a whole ass bar up front with a huge selection of drinks and snacks that are completely underpriced. Bowling is super cheap too, at 4 dollars per game. If you are a bowler for another team having to play a match here against us, just know that you will lose by 200 pins because I know that you bowl on synthetic lanes and your ball is going to over hook, + your lines will wear down after one game and you wont know what to do about it. I recomend that you bowl with either a pearl, urethane or just use a plastic and put a shitload of revs on it.

If you are planning on playing in the arcade area, go ahead to the customer-service area and purchase a game card, you could also get it easy from the kiosk, as you will need this card to swipe and play. We love their claw-machine (which we found it to be so much easier to win than the one in Asia, rip), if you stay there long enough on a good day, you will find some people with a big bag full of stuffed animals they won. So your chance is pretty high on winning those for your loved ones (including yourself!) When you have won enough stuffed animals, take a break and come to the other section where there are plenty of arcade games, there are ones for the sport-lover, anime-lover and those who loves to dance. There are also bowling alley, and karaoke party room which we enjoy going once in a while. Food and drinks are not allowed in there as you will be checked by the security when entered. Though, there is a little food bar that offer quick bites as well as pizza, ice cream and alcohols. Before you leave, go check out the photo booth, I recommend the Japanese ones, since you can decorate it how you like before printing it. Always have so much fun coming here, will be back again soon.

The desk clerk rang up full price, even though the pricing menu, displayed clearly on the desk, says after 7 on Sundays and Holidays is discounted. I pointed that out & the guy tried to say that prices had changed, pointed to an electric sign which said full price - for Saturdays. Oops. So he went to the back & came out saying that the price was full because it was a holiday. Again, I pointed at the displayed sign, which clearly said after 7, Sundays and holidays for the discount. He just kept saying 'nothing he could do about it', so we left. Round 1 clearly doesn't honor the prices displayed. What a racket. 2 stars because we had fun 1st round
