A older gentleman always friendly, helpful and even ordered what I wanted when they didn't have it. Then employees were hired and not neighborly, welcoming, friendly or in the least bit interested in anything but the Bluetooth and conversation they are having that you interrupt to check out. Being from out of town, we didn't know anything about this hot local spot, or should I say "cold" spot, but the happy-looking crowd in the parking lot eating huge ice cream cones caught our eye so we circled back and went inside to check it out. The freezer cases were filled with a huge selection of colorful ice creams and very interesting flavor combinations, some with a local connection like Mackinaw Island Fudge and Michigan Pothole and Moosetracks.
