Received a text my blood pressure medicine was ready. I spent almost 1 hour on my first attempt to get my prescription only to be told they can't find it. My second attempt the next day only took 45 mins for them to tell me my insurance does not cover that medicine. I found that a bit odd since I don't have insurance. My third attempt was much faster, see I found myself in the ER with stroke like symptoms and they gave me my blood pressure medication within minutes of arriving at the hospital. Needless to say I am no longer a CVS customer. Thanks Belleville CVS, I no longer have use of the right side of my body. read more

I'm terribly sick and needed antibiotics. My prescription was for 20 pills and they only gave me 18. So instead of taking the day to get the rest I needed, I had to run back out and pick up the rest of my prescription. Honestly, after reading some of the other reviews, I'm not surprised that this pharmacy doesn't know how to count.. absolutely ridiculous. read more

The pharmacy at this CVS is getting weird. They sharply increased the price of a medication I get there. I asked the price of another medication so I could decide whether to transfer my Rx there. The clerk actually told me I'd have to transfer the Rx there FIRST, and THEN they'd tell me how much to pay. Unbelievable! I spoke to the pharmacist and she told me I had to identify myself before she'd tell me a drug price. I asked how that was relevant to the price and she was nonresponsive. I told here I had Good RX and she quoted me a price over $300. (With Good RX, it's less than $50.) read more

Terrible pharmacy service! Drove here because we needed a 24 hour pharmacy after surgery and was greeted by a rude person in the pharmacy who told me that systems were shut down at 3. She acted like I should know this and was stupid for coming in. No apology or explanation, just nasty behavior to a customer dealing with a traumatic situation. read more

When I called, I was put on hold for 15 minutes then answered really quick and extremely rude and then put it back on hold for another 15 minutes then she comes back very rude there was no reason for her to be rude. I was extremely nice. I called her out. Told her she was being rude and she changed her attitude but the principle is she should've never acted like that. horrible I hate this place. I went here for a Shinrix shot which is the Shingles vaccine for people 50 and over. It was painless and quick! Everyone at this particular CVS was friendly, informed, and professional! April and her nearest Co- worker whose name I can't remember (forgive me) were very kind in assisting me! Also Special thanks to Shelby who was very friendly, professional and informed on my vaccine! Absolutely useless 24 hour pharmacy. Needed a medication and they were the closest 24 hour location. Left me on hold for a half hour and were completely unwilling to help or work with me in any way to transfer over my prescription after all that time. read more

After tonight you can't pay me to come back here. 3 rude people working, one carrying on a personal conversation whine 3 if us waited in line, one lady too busy scanning bagged prescriptions to bother helping customers that are here, and the rude lady in the drive thru that told me they can't give me OTC through the drive through and that I had to come inside. I know, they are everywhere but this particular CVS place is wonderful. Gosh knows everyone in Belleville seems to use it as the parking lot is always full. Open 24 hours. Your doc can call in prescriptions and by the time you arrive they are filled. If you bring them in yourself there is never much of a wait and they have comfy chairs and magazines to pass the time while you do wait. Oh and they have a handy drive though for if you are in a hurry or too wretched to be seen. Pharmacy staff is helpful, friendly and knowledgable. They have good cheap generic drugs and I have never had a hassle with a script. I seem to find a bunch of other stuff here on sale. Pop, candy, makeup. They are well stocked with the basics and my card generally gets me a lot of freebies. It is clean and well organized. So yeah its a corporate chain but it is handy and I like it. read more

Have spent hundreds if not thousands of dollars at this location over the past 15 years living in the Belleville area. NOT ANY MORE! Went in to this location to purchase several health care items and was told I could not come in because I was not wearing a face covering. I had gloves on and I had hand sanitizer. I did not have a mask because they are hard to find or are on back order. As I was walking in, two ethnic ladies walked out without face coverings. I am wondering if this was the case because the general manager of the store is also of the same ethnic group. Seems to me they discriminate and pick and choose who they choose to let into their location. There is a Walgreens one block up. Guess who earned a new customer. And guess who lost one? read more

Time changes things. 03-16-2017 On 3.10.2017 Van Buren Urgent Care of Belleville filled me 4 prescriptions for Flu. My wife dutifully arrived at this location with me in vehicle too sick to enter CVS to fill my meds. About half an hour later she returns with 2 meds. An antibiotic and a cough syrup and we head home. She was told the other two meds were unavailable at the time. Two days later and me getting progressively worse my wife dragged me to Canton Urgent care/St. Joe's. There after chest xrays they decided to send me to St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti via Huron Valley Ambulance. I had been diagnosed with Pneumonia. After iv needles and further care from them, they released me to go home with Pneumonia medicines. Again my wife went to CVS to fill them when she was met with a "Oh your antibiotic is ready for pickup" When my wife questioned the girl behind the counter, she did not know why it was not given in the 1st place. I stayed on the new Tamiflu antibiotic prescribed by the hospital and today went into CVS to retrieve my original med. There was no apology. Excepting supposedly they had my old phone number in Maryland from over 9 years ago so they couldn't contact me. And I've come to this CVS countless times in the past 9 years my CVS member Xtra Care card would be the witness. read more

CVS is great! They take care of me like an old fashioned neighborhood pharmacy would. They also have a good selection of HBA items.

I have had it with this place and I will be contacting my insurance to file a grievance!!! to start with the pharmacy technician with the dirt blond hair, glasses and tattoos ( ware's no name tag) continues to be a lazy COW every time someone asks her a question or she has to anything. Every single time I come in she has an attitude with every person she deals with including coworkers.. #2 I have had her argue with me about billing the insurance. we are covered by 2 insurance.. one needed a prior auth in which case I explained it won't need the auth once you bill MY insurance because it's a one time auth.. NOT MONTHLY.. she again told me how wrong i was until I spoke to the pharmacist. he too tried to argue the fact. UNTIL HE ACTUALLY RAN IT as I told him to do and BINGO! I WAS RIGHT! #3 It is a complete headache to pick anything up due to the lack of experience however, that is understandable when people don't want to work but it does not give the right to be rude. I also am taking a medication that is on back order months back. i ask what is a replacement and i'm told there is not one.. only to call another CVS who gave me the replacement name.. COME ON CVS- COVID CAME but it didn't take the professionalism this store once had.. that is completely the fault of who ever is running this store! read more

I have been using this CVS store for years because they are open 24hrs. Usually I dont have a problem however the last 2 or 3 times I gone I've noticed really nasty attitudes with the pharmacy techs. I used a good rx coupon for one of my scripts and it saved me $60. This was a month ago. They enrolled me in automatic refill and I was very happy. Well today the tech tried to tell me they didnt take the coupon, which was a lie. Then she said I would have to wait 25 mins to use the coupon, I said okay but when I came back another young man had taken her place and when I told him about the coupon he said she said we have to charge you $20 more than the price without the coupon about $80 dollars. WHAT! wait that doesn't make sense. I told the young man to put the medication back and thank you anyway. Went to Kroger which is closer to home and not only used the coupon but saved an extra $6. Pro air albuterol inhaler only $20 at Kroger. I'm so done with CVS and their poor customer service. SMH! read more

They were rude on the phone. When I arrived, no one (out of the four people behind the counter) stopped to greet me or say anything at all. No one smiled or acted politely during the entire exchange. Everyone seemed miserable. I don't like CVS very much, but I surely won't go to this location again. Rite Aid and Kroger Pharmacy employees are far better. read more

The Pharmacy staff at Belleville CVS lacks customer service skills. The 2 times I needed a medication transferred from another CVS ended with me waiting 2 hours. I recently got married and there was a mix up with my name long story short they treated me like I was a criminal trying to smuggle drugs it was truly embarrassing! Transferred my prescriptions here because they're 24hrs. But they don't stock my regular BCPs so they substituted them for a different brand which I was not happy about. Then when I try and fill my other monthly script the never have it in stock and I end up having to go back to the original pharmacy that I left. Hasd I known I would just stayed at the first pharmacy. And the only response I get is "I'll talk to my manger" and never get a response back. read more

Came into cvs to get needles for my type 1 diabetes. because I ran out and had to refill my cartridge in my pump, that holds the insulin. They refused to sell me the needles because it is against store policy. Then told me to go to another cvs that has needles when they had them. I have gone into many cvs's showed them proof of my diabetes and they would give me the needles. This is ridiculous that I have to drive 30 minutes to go to another cvs to get needles. None of the employees in the pharmacy were willing to help or acted like they wanted to. Your customer service is very poor, I have a disease that is time sensitive where I could be going into the hospital without insulin and possibly die. the fact they are willing to turn me away to tell me to go to another cvs is mind blowing. The manager was very rude, especially to the cashier that works there. At least that lady was friendly.. I will probably not go back to that place simply because the manager was a complete you know what. She clearly hates her job, but didn't need to make customers feel uncomfortable because she isn't happy. I go to pick up 8 hours later and am told they put script back on shelf and would need to reprocess it and I would have to wait 15 minutes! Seriously? You are the ones that screwed up. Normally I am a fan and regular customer of this CVS, however tonight, I had an experience that turned me off to this location indefinitely. I was due for a prescription refill, and visited the pharmacy so I could do that; however the pharmacist who was working tonight (3-20-2014) was terrible. He told me that it was too early to refill my prescription even though both my bottle, and the CVS app said that my medicine was ready for refill. I explained this to the pharmacist, and he said that he didn't know why the bottle and app would say that, but it wasn't ready to be filled. I thanked him and went back to browsing the store and in the meantime used the app to fill the prescription. I normally just use the app, however there is not an option for ASAP pick up and there is usually a 2 hour wait when using the online/phone services. I went back to the counter and asked the pharmacist if the refill had went through into their system because I didn't want to wait there if their system didn't refresh, which has happened to me quite a few times before. Nothing as frustrating as putting in for a refill, then going to the pharmacy and them saying they don't have your prescription, only to check their system to see it was done online hours before... but I digress. The pharmacists said that the refill went through, but he cancelled it because he was unwilling to refill the prescription after the earlier issue. I explained to him that I needed the medicine as I was going out of town and wouldn't be back for a few weeks, he still didn't care. I asked him why he would not fill the prescription and he said that he didn't have to fill it. I asked to speak to a manager and he said there was no manager working and that I would have to talk to her tomorrow if I wanted to complain. I asked him one last time to please fill my prescription as it was clearly ready to be refilled and he still wouldn't so I asked him why he was being a jerk. He became very angry and then actually said "Why do you need the prescription so badly, you must be abusing it. Are you an addict?" At this point, as one can surely imagine, I became irate and told him what I do with my medication is none of his business. He then threatened to call my PCP and tell them that I am abusing my medications and I need to be taken off of them. (they are antidepressants). I did speak with the store manager on duty, and he was very nice and apologetic although the has no control over the pharmacy staff The entire situation was just absurd and frustrating. I was able to fill my prescription with another CVS and that pharmacists was very nice and helpful. I will no longer be frequenting this pharmacy, nor will I remain silent, and I will tell everybody I talk to about medicine to avoid this pharmacy like the plague. read more
