I use the pharmacy here as it is near my workplace. It used to be a 24 hr pharmacy with a friendly and competent staff. In the past year, the hours have been reduced considerably (no longer 24 hour convenience) and also there has been 100% turnover in the pharmacy staff. The staff is, for the most part, unfriendly and not too sharp. I have found lots of errors also. There are always long waits too, and I feel the pharmacy is not run efficiently. I have used the CVS pharmacy down the street also on Wisconsin and Bradley and there is a world of difference. That one is run so much better with pharmacists that are friendly and quick with preparing prescriptions. So it verifies to me that this particular pharmacy on Arlington Rd. is just poorly managed and the staff are not as sharp. read more

Lit signs outside clearly scream "24 hour pharmacy" but after parking and walking to the back pharmacy all service windows closed at 9:20. Three of us were there with prescriptions shaking our heads. A clerk said, when I asked on my way out, that pharmacy closes at 9. She looked down and looked embarrassed when I noted the lit sign says 24 hour pharmacy. Just turn off the sign? read more

An average CVS, but I had a not-great experience trying to redeem a sizeable register coupon. Long story short, the pharmacy clerk told me I could redeem it, the manager said I couldn't, and the coupon itself had no terms or restrictions on it to say that it wasn't valid. I eventually prevailed, but was not impressed with the caliber of staff or management. read more

I called this pharmacy this morning (its the closest one to me), and asked if I could come in for a flu shot. The woman on the phone told me they were all out of the shot, and they might get some more on Monday. So I called another one nearby. They said they have it, no appt necessary, so I went there and got it. On the way home, I was passing this store, so, suspicious, I went in and asked if I could get a flu shot, and they said yes..they have it. I asked why I was told on the phone that they were out, and the guy said something about syringes that "just came in". Personally, I don't believe it. I think they had it when I called, and maybe its just too much trouble, all these people coming in for flu shots, and try to send them to another store. I think they have a responsibility to the public health that doesn't include giving misinformation to customers. I have complained to corporate and I will also file a complaint with Mont County Dept of Health. Sidenote...I called this place back and told them Im the guy who was told they were out of the shot, and then told they weren't...and could I speak with the manager. I was put on hold...the phone rang...and the it hung up on me. read more

I have never been a fan of CVS but this store was unbelievable. The clerks there have one speed, slow. There is no sense of pride in the store, no sense of urgency and no management oversight. Good luck if you need anything behind the counter. Now they even refuse to check you out, requiring everyone to use the self check out. No thanks, I am going to Walgreen's. read more

Kudos to a lone clerk working both checkout and photo counter. He should leave cvs because the management is out to lunch. They don't staff properly. They have to rely on clerks dedication. Good clerk/associate, bad store management. read more

This store always had a great pharmacist. And the pharmacy was the only one in Bethesda open 24 hours. I stopped by tonight about 8:50 and shopped a bit before going to the pharmacy counter at 9pm to pick up my prescription....which I needed, and I had checked earlier to make sure was ready. The clerk informed me that they were closed, and with that began to pull down the grate. I begged to just pickup my Rx and was told NO, because they would have to ring it up. They hadn't begun to close the registers, so that seemed lame. I went to the manager who told me the store is open 24 hours, but the pharmacy has closed at 9 since Dec. 6. As a regular customer, I received no notice of this, and there wasn't any signage in the store. To add insult to injury, the last time I arrived to pick my Rx refill, I was told they had no order for me. They offered to have it ready the next day (not while I waited). I asked the pharmacist to make sure that they could fill it. When she checked my record, she said, 'oh the insurance company won't refill it for another three days". By the way, this is just a low dose diuretic for hypertension....I understand that the insurance company's rules are not CVS' fault, but you would think that computer that you talk to for everything else could call you to tell you not to make a special trip for the refill they deleted. Ok. Enough said. It's sad to lose a shred of customer service. read more

We arrived at 8:55pm to pick up an antibiotic for my daughter. The gates to the pharmacy were already closed. We went to the manager and he said that the pharmacy staff was in the back but ready to go home and could not fill the prescription. Really? The pharmacy staff is gone at 8:55 even though the posted pharmacy closing is at 9pm?? This occurred a few weeks ago so I thought I would give them another try. Today, my prescription was called in around 10am. I arrived at 8:05pm to pick it up and was told it was not yet filled as they have been "busy" today. No apology...we will be transferring our prescriptions to another pharmacy. read more

Really nice people; open 24 hours which is great. But twice this year they've messed up my prescriptions, most recently with something that would have been dangerous if I hadn't noticed. Check labels carefully! read more

Painfully slow service at the pharmacy. Have gone there since a 24 hour pharmacy. Without any warning, they've suddenly cut back the hours. No reason to go there now. read more
