The pharmacist are very knowledgeable and they have good communication. The products are organized and my prescriptions are filled on time.

3/31 update. This…read moreparticular Walgreens is completely overwhelmed by the necessity to both dispense prescriptions and conduct covid vaccines simultaneously. Apparently there was no addition to the staff of the pharmacy section. What this means for customers is a long, long wait to pick up prescriptions. I stopped by yesterday to pick up a prescription which their system had texted me was ready. So I went to the drive-thru, only to read a sign saying come inside to pick up your prescription. So I parked the car and go inside, where there is one line for all prescriptions and for all the people registering for their vaccine appointments. There are easily 12 people milling about, and because there isn't enough room between the shelving units and the pharmacy windows there's no way for people to know if they are in the queue or not. The pharmacy employees are great; and the situation I described above is not their fault. I blame corporate. So my advice to you is go elsewhere for your prescriptions until this vaccination chaos is resolved.

I have been getting my meds filled here for a number of years and in the past year or so their…read moreservice has declined remarkably. Their automated system does not work! I called in for a refill on a Sunday and was told that the doctor had to be notified and that the prescription would be ready on Tuesday. I called the automated system Tuesday night to confirm that the refill was done. The automated system said that there was NO record of my prescription having been called in so I put in the request again. Again I was told by the automated system that the doctor needed to be notified and the meds would be ready on that coming Friday. I was in my doctor's office on that Friday and asked if they had approved the request and was told YES. Unable to get to the pharmacy on Friday or Saturday I called on Sunday and was told there was no record of me having put in the request. Their automated system had no record of the two request I had previously made. I then spoke directly to a not very pleasant pharmacist who said they had no record of my two requests and no record of the doctor approving the refill. So now I have to call the doctor directly tomorrow and have them call the pharmacy and tell them to do their job. I would not recommend this pharmacy. They are incompetent and not customer friendly. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Ever just have a horrible experience at a Walmart where it just reinforces your displeasure for the…read morecompany? Well let me tell you a tale. I came in here in hopes of picking up a few items I knew I wouldn't find elsewhere. With that, I also browsed. I found the items that I wanted and continued to shop for other things. I went from department to department, jumped into the clearance section, and just continued to browse to see if there was anything I might finally grab. After grabbing everything I needed and few things I wanted, it was off to the races. By that I mean entering the gauntlet that is the registers. This was the only Walmart that I had come to where the registers were sequestered from the rest of the store where everyone is funneled into. Then the associates that work this area yell to direct you where to go. Then they act as if you are an idiot using their machines. It's one thing to assume that people don't know how to use them, but it's another when there are mistakes made by the company. I had grabbed a Brita from the shelves in hardware because the price was too good to pass up. I doubled checked the shelves just to make sure that this just wasn't misplaced, there were several more in the area. I should have taken a picture of this as it came back to bite me later. I scanned the Brita last since it was the biggest item and wouldn't fit in the bag with the other items I grabbed. When I rang it up, the price was $20 more than listed on the shelf. I asked the associate nearest to me about it and at first she just brushed me off and indicated that I needed to pay that price. I told her that the price on the shelf was marked at $19.98. She questioned me as to where it was. I told her, hardware department, top shelf as you walk in the aisle with others of the same items right next to it. I told her the price was listed and this is where she basically called me an idiot. Her words, "The price tag is beneath the item, not on top of it." I looked her dead in the eye and said, "You don't say, this is especially true if the item is on the top shelf." Then she said I needed to pay full price. I then reiterated that there were more than one of the same exact item in the same spot. She kind of stood there and thought that if she stared me down I would shut up, buy the item, and leave the store. Then when I hit her with the fact that I used to work for Walmart some years ago she backed down. She then took off to the hardware department to check the item. I should have known something was up for as long as it took her to come back, and this is where I realized I should have taken a picture while I was there, but with full hands it was hard to do. She came back with a picture of the shelf, where she obviously moved the items around. The shelf was perfectly zoned with the items moved around to different locations. She felt so proud to have showed me that picture. Like a toddler thinking they won a fight. Then she told me that she could only give me 10% off, as if to placate me to get me out of the store. I told her to get it off my transaction so I could get out of there. She did, all while her coworker looked on as if to be her backup. What's even worse was after I had finished up and paid and was walking out she was at the customer service desk gloating what she just did. Horrible people equals a horrible experience. Then to do their survey is even worse. They make one attempt to contact you and never follow up.

The lady at the bakery wrote my order and contact information down in a notebook. I didn't think much of it since I had similar experiences in other grocery stores, but I was concerned since the lady seemed flustered and her English wasn't very good, but I gave her the benefit of doubt. Fast forward to the day of her birthday: wife goes to pick it up and it's a regular 1/4 sheet cake that says, "Happy Birthday" on it with our daughter's name. I call the store's customer service who transfers me to the bakery manager. I tell the manager what happens and she replies, "what do you want me do about it?" I replied, "well, I thought you should know since I ordered a princess cake and that's not what I got...and it's for our 5 year old daughter's party which is today." She finally looses the attitude and suggests they can either remake the cake and give us the cake for free. I asked my wife to go back and they gave us a full refund. Long story short: I will never go to this Harris Teeter location for baked items again. Especially since this is the second birthday cake they've messed up.
