I have been a loyal CVS customer for many years and the Cedar Lake store is the best! Every staff member is always friendly and the pharmacy (even when busy) is still faster than any other I've been to over the years. The store and restroom are always clean and well stocked, and the employees are really knowledgeable about the products they sell and where they can be found. They even have an awesome return policy! I have never encountered an impolite or rude staff member once at this CVS, and I've been going there frequently for over 11 years, even before they opened the new store! read more

Extremely rude pharmacist named Gabbie. Couldn't find my prescription and was very dismissive and aggressive. She then made us loop all the way back around the store to reprint a label and said to wait another 10 minutes before getting in the drive through line. Absolute obnoxious and rude. read more

Was at CVS pharmacy about 10:45, the person at the register today was extremely extremely rude. I go to this pharmacy at least 2 to 3 times a month. Today I get told that I have no percentage off I said yes I do pulled out my phone and shoulder. I had a 40 and a 30% off plus a few other coupons she rudely told me I could not use them cause I was buying buy one get 1/2 off. I said no I'm only purchasing one. She says it doesn't work that way. I said they do it that way every single time I'm here I never have a problem. She told me I was wrong and I didn't know what I was talking about and I had no coupons. Then she also told me it was before 12 o'clock on a Sunday so I cannot purchase my alcohol, which I understand I did not know it had to be after 12 o'clock and she told me three times. It is the Indiana state law so don't go and try to get alcohol any place else cause it won't work. I'm like OK I'm sorry I was unaware. She's like well. You can't do it anywhere else. It's just not a CVS policy. It's an Indiana state policy again. I apologize and she's like well. Don't try it cause it won't work. I'm like OK now. I really feel like a piece of shit. Very poor customer service. The staff seems very overworked and they take out their frustrations on the customers! I scheduled a vaccine and received a notice that the vaccine was not available. I then scheduled the same vaccine at the St. John CVS and they had the courtesy to call me to let me know the vaccine was not covered by my prescription insurance and requested my health insurance information. The vaccine was covered thru my health insurance and was free. It is sad that the Cedar Lake CVS would not provide me with the same courtesy phone call to make sure the vaccine was covered instead of just cancelling the vaccine! I will never go the the Cedar Lake CVS again, even though I live there. The staff there has always been rude and always seem to be bothered by the customers. read more

Sadly, this is the closest place to my house that my prescription and my insurance work with I would go anywhere else if that wasn't the case everyone's personality is robotic, rude, upset, passive, aggressive, and unprofessional passive aggressive is the most important thing especially Rinas poor attitude. The worst customer service experience I've ever had at a pharmacy! Would give zero stars if possible. They incorrectly filled a prescription for me and when I called them they blamed it on my doctor. They have filled this exact prescription for years but this time they fouled it up. No we're sorry, nothing but rude and very insensitive comments to me. waiting on hold for 14 minutes before talking to a human is ridiculous. THAT was the 2nd phone call first was over 10 minutes without talking to anyone. sitting in the drive through before being acknowledged for 12 minutes is not professional. at least acknowledge that you know we are there. read more

I've had nothing but issues with this pharmacy...My doctor sent a prescription for an antibiotic due to a sinus infection, I went to pickup my script 4 hours later and they said they had nothing ready for me. I get home and there is an automated call that they have a script ready for my daughter. I call the pharmacy and the pharmacist matter-of-factly said give me 5 minutes and we'll have it ready. I live in Lowell, about 20 minutes away. They incorrectly filled my antibiotic for my daughter...no apology. Today, I just refilled 2 rx's for myself and the robot said they'd be ready at 11a. I wait at the drive-thru line with about 5 cars ahead of me only to be told that they are to soon to fill. But the rude person at the drive-thru window repeated that she had no rx's ready for me. She then said that they came up too soon to fill...no courtesy call to inform me of this..During the 1 minute interaction, she very rudely repeated she had nothing ready for me...I drove away feeling attacked and extremely frustrated. I've worked in customer service before and I realize it is a demanding job. However, I was not rude or disrespectful towards this lady at all...I never got her name...young Indian lady without a name tag (how convenient). I will be transferring my prescriptions to the Walgreens across the street. read more

Because of a problem created by my doctors nurse, and then exacerbated by me, I was in a pickle as far as getting a prescription filled. Jason the pharmacist on duty at the time Saturday September 26th around 3:15 went above and beyond to help, finding and getting my insurance info (I was not registered with CVS) and ultimately filled my prescription...and in record time at that. I am very grateful for his compassion and kind help. That was totally above and beyond. He could have told me to come back when I found my insurance card... he didn't he help!! read more
