This is not my first rodeo. My first child had an excellent supply and I had worked with lactation consultants in the past. However, this time I had severe PPH which affected my supply. Jennifer is truly an advanced lactation consultant, because she used to be a practicing NP. She was able to provide valuable insight into why my supply might not be coming in from an NP standpoint and recommended supplements and protocols to attempt to increase my supply. She was excellent with her response time for her text support (which comes with her in home visits) and her notes in Charm were extremely organized so I knew exactly what to do. It wasn't just a whole host of "you can try, you can try" it was bullet pointed recommendations. While my journey did not last, I appreciated her working with me to attempt to prolong it. Now on her recommendation I'll do my best to follow up with the specialists I need to see to make sure I take care of myself and enjoy the time I have with my newborn.
