When I asked, the pharmacist why they kept my doctor on the phone for 40 minutes only to make him leave a message she got snippy and said we are going to need 30 more minutes. I said I have been waiting 40 minutes already she snarled 30 more minutes. I asked her why are you mad at me? I could've come back tomorrow, but you can't even tell me that it's going to be a while at the beginning. Totally disorganized.

They told me that I would have to get paper prescriptions and bring them in in order to get my prescriptions transferred over. That was a year ago. Now I tried to get a prescription refilled. I waited almost 30 minutes (after they said it would be a 15 minute wait) just for them to tell me they don't have it and I'd have to drive to a different Walgreens in east peoria to get it refilled. I've had nothing but problems with this pharmacy. They are understaffed and probably under paid. Called a different pharmacy because I want to transfer over all my prescriptions and the pharmacist there said even they have a hard time getting this Walgreens to answer the phone. This place fucking rules…read more Don't get me wrong, it's an absolute shithole, their selection is garbage, the store layout is hilariously counterintuitive, and the parking lot is one of the most frustratingly convoluted constructions this side of the Riemann hypothesis. But it still rules. The staff clearly deals with awful people all day long every day and foregoes the facade of pretending they aren't miserable and/or give a shit about you and your concerns. If there's one thing I can appreciate, it's knowing that we live in a dreadful world and at least fucking being honest about it. Bonus points for being a place to upset racist white people that apparently think stepping out of your car in the parking lot of this place is as dangerous as being on the beaches of fucking Normandy during D-Day.
