Shoutout to the Pharmacist and Lamonda at CVS in Fitzgerald. Their unwillingness to listen led me to move my prescriptions to Walmart Pharmacy. Service has been hit or miss for years, but when you only deal with a service monthly you sometimes accept the bad service. This included not opening or time, randomly closing the drive thru and not having medication. Last week they BOTH tried to convince me that it was too early to refill my prescription. Told me to call back on 4/1 for a prescription last filled 2/25. That would be six weeks for a monthly prescription. Fed up, I transferred everything to Walmart. I called my insurance company the next morning since CVS said my Rx was denied because it was being filled too early. Michelle at CVS Caremark said it was denied because CVS submitted the Rx for three months and it could only be filled as a monthly Rx. Walmart had already correctly submitted the Rx and it had been approved. Walmart texted within the hour to say my Rx would be ready by 11:15am. By 10:45am I was notified that my Rx was ready. My Rx was filled in less than three hour at Walmart were it took a minimum of three days at CVS (said they had to order medication). Their unwillingness to listen or check their error lost my business. DO BETTER CVS. read more
