This is a very new drugstore and it's bright, well-lit and well stocked. Unfortunately, it still has the horrible checkout situation where there is no real line so depending on how many people are in line and how many cashiers are open, you aren't sure when or how you'll get waited on. Why don't CVS just put in those little guides so there's a queue? Anyway, the cashier was super nice and the transaction was efficient. Plenty of parking and there's actually a metal cow piece of art out front. It might be a bike rack, I'm not really sure. But it's cool and I regret not getting a picture of it. While I was a there I asked if there was a chance I could get my shot. The tech said no, that they needed a half hour to get things out together after their lunch break. So I left. I then arrived at 4pm and was told that I didn't sign up for that location. As I had already deleted my confirmation from my phone I could not confirm what he was saying. I asked if he could cancel the other location and give me the shot. He said it would take too long and I should go to the other location. This guy was a total jerk and said sarcastically, "have a good day". (this was the Allouez location on Webster Avenue)

Much like an old neighborhood drug store they have just enough everyday household items that they often save me unnecessary trips to the big box store to find a new padlock or a new fragrance free downy that is friendly to sensitive "fussy" skin types like myself, for example! I also appreciate that their app sends timely notifications alerting me to some new deals as I pull into the parking lot. Makes me comfortable that they take data privacy seriously in that they use the location access responsibly and to help me maximize the value while I'm shopping their store. Now if only my headphones sunglasses and phone wouldn't constantly want to jump out if my hands and roll behind the registers, this could easily hit all stars! ;)

My girlfriend and I have had numerous issues with this Walgreens and other Walgreens in the last…read moreyear. I will stick to this Walgreens specifically though. There have been numerous times where we have both received messages that multiple scripts are ready for pick up and when we arrive they are NOT ready. We literally have driven there several times for absolutely no reason because we were told our meds were ready and waiting. It is quite frustrating. Now we call first just to make sure. My girlfriend had a run around on the phone for three hours (because of disconnections or hang ups) trying to figure out where her medication was. She NEEDED this medication and HAD to get it. They kept trying to find it and they transferred her to various departments to find the medication and to have it delivered. They said they didn't have a notification from the doctor for the script. Then in another phone call they did. FINALLY she got ahold of someone and that knew what was going on. They had canceled the order for some reason and she had to have her doctor send the script order again. It was a very frustrating experience and it upset me to see her go through this. There have been many issues for both of us there for awhile. I don't know if it is a lack of staff or the hiring of incompetent people or not training people properly. While I can understand these issues happening I still don't want to deal with this as a customer. We are slowly getting meds from other pharmacies and will leave Walgreens all together eventually. Hopefully they will "get it together" soon but we are not waiting. Medication is too important to have to struggle with.

The salad bar looked well stocked with some fresh veggies. We did not, however eat anything from it. Just there for some basics. I was impressed by the meat free section (again didn't get anything but I always like to see what different areas have) and they had a decent variety at reasonable prices. The beer/wine section was great. A good variety of local brews which I enjoy trying when in a new area. The wines are not really that extensive but you can find something pretty good here. If you have a Kroger loyalty card you can use it here, just FYI, it knocked a little bit off our purchases which was nice. The aisles are wide, and the store is pretty clean. Overall a pretty good value.
