The finest CVS I've ever had the pleasure to shop at. This place was a welcome sight along the Vegas Strip. It was spotless inside, with every surface gleaming as if it'd been recently polished. Even though there was a large crowd of people coming through here, they kept the place spotless. They have a wide selection of booze and beer at much cheaper prices than most of the other places along the Strip. The beer was ice cold, and there was a wide selection of craft beers in various sizes. You could buy individual beers, or whole cases! The check out went quickly, as they had nearly every register staffed. They sold a lot of souvenirs at prices much cheaper than the regular spots along the Strip. Most of them were cheap, and made in China, but if you need some loaded dice, or an oversized flask, this is your place. They no longer sell cigarettes at CVS. read more

When we stayed at the Aria last year, we were at this particular CVS 2-3 times a day stocking up on liquor, snacks and food. I've made it to this CVS once already this trip and will probably make it a few more times, although we aren't staying as close this time around. The other reviews are dead on. The prices aren't as cheap as you'd find at my local CVS, but they are wayyy cheaper than buying something inside of the hotel. We bought some Pinnacle Gummy (750 ML) for $13 and some 7 UP (2 liter) for $2. In our hotel, Cap'n (350 ML) was $20, so I consider CVS to be worth its weight in gold. The sandwiches might be something I'd usually pass up (eww, food from a drugstore?!), but we did end up trying one last trip and have been obsessed ever since. They're $4 and a great snack after a long night of drinking and sooo fresh! The only downfall and it's a big one, you will be nearly mauled to death by the GIRLS/696969 card slapping douche bags and the "come on a free tour of our timeshare" guys. No joke, the guy asked me 3 times outside of the store and THEN followed me in. When I was at the self checkout, he came up to me and approached me again about going on a tour. I told him that I'd told him no 3 times already and if I told him NO for a 4th time, would he leave me alone? He finally left me alone but I found him harassing some other girl inside of the store. Seriously? Why does CVS let these asses come inside of the store? Ugh. Least. favorite. part. of Vegas. Minus that, there's cheap booze + staff is always nice + store is always clean. Very convenient store opens 24/7 in the center of strip! They have pretty much everything, mostly we come here for more alcohol and over the counter drugs, when we are in Vegas, we get allergies from lack of sleep, or upset stomach from drinking and partying too much.... The prices are higher than other CVS in your hood for sure, but it's all about location, traffics are bad on strip, it just saves us lots of time to go to other similar stores. The alcohol is more expensive too, a 720ml Grey Goose or Patron Silver is about $20-25 more if I remembered correctly, but think about the bright side, it's still cheaper than the wet bar in our suite! The customer service is really good, staffs are very friendly and helpful, it gets slow sometime because there are always too many people, so just be patient, we are on a trip, no need to get grumpy...;p Those Vegas souvenirs are just too cute! Big and clean. It's by Aria right on the strip. There are two doors. By one door is a travel agent with tons of brochures for places to see. We went to use the blood pressure machine. It seemed to be in good working shape. Our blood pressure readings were very low. Thinking maybe the machine wasn't calibrated correctly, we came back again. The readings were normal to low. Vegas seems to be a low stress place to visit for us! read more

They were very helpful and patient with me while I was trying to retrieve my coupons at the counter . One of my fav spots in Vegas! Definitely a spot to visit while in Vegas. Get your alcohol, essentials and snacks here! Yall thank me later, especially if you've already made your way to the hotel convenience store. My daily runs here consisted of $1 water and $3 Heineken or Coronas. To top it off you also buy bottles of rum, cognac, vodka, wine, scotch and whiskey. That about sums it up for me. My fellow yelpers dropped knowledge on everything else you might want to know! I will usually hit up the CVS a few times to pick up some toiletries or things I forgot to bring while on vacation. Also for bottled water which is way cheaper than the casino shops. This CVS has the most ideal location on the Strip. It is convenient and easily accessible. It has a wide variety of snacks and drinks. The price is cheaper than the Walgreen that is directly across the street, and of course, your hotel room. For example, a bottle of smart water, sold $1.99 here. I think at Walgreens it is either 2.49 or 2.99. I don't remember. But at your hotel room, it is somewhere between $5 - $10 for the same bottled water. I have been here several times and the staff are always friendly. There are fewer CVS on the West Coast so I don't have much interaction with CVS in general. But this store is my to-go spot in Vegas when I need a quick snack or drink. They should expand their fruit section to sell beyond bananas and apples. No stars is what's deserved. Prey on tourists with price mark ups of 2x. Called them out on it and said that the price was well off from what was advertised on their website. I was told that those prices are for "off strip locations only" Absolutely shameful. Every other company I have ever come in contact with will honor the online price. They lost the entire sale because I refuse to give my business to a company that shamelessly admits they are screwing people over because they're on the vegas strip. I thought i had a sinus infection or cold. They do not do tests. They do not give shots. Prescribed me some meds. The pharmacy had only 1 person , the pharmacist. Trying to fill scripts give vaccinations check people out and answer the phone. 6 vaccines were given before I could pick up 1 prescription. The minute clinic took about 40 minutes and about 2 hours at pharmacy. I went to the doctor 2 days later. I had the flu. The whole experience frustrating. read more

So we usually go to the Walgreens across from the Cosmo when we're in Vegas, but recently we were exploring more of this side of the Strip and we stumbled in this CVS a few times to get essentials (like a deodorant! It's been burning hot here in Vegas in July and the damn TSA folks confiscated my deodorant when going through security at Sea-Tac! Hubby forgot to pack his toothbrush, too) and non-essentials (gummy poker chips? Fun souvenir pens and knick-knacks? An anniversary card for my hubby? Yes, please!). All reasonably priced to boot. We were SO glad to see more of these chain drugstores pop up on the Strip, actually (I see more CVS'es and Walgreens in the making), as they are nice little safe havens, well-lit, clean, open 24/7, with security, and they offer nearly anything one might need, from medications to sunblocks and shaving creams, to gifts for people back home, to alcohol, to refrigerated beverages and even fresh salads and sandwiches and fruits. Wow. The proliferation of these stores ensures that prices will stay competitive, too. And the folks who work here are super nice. There's an ATM machine here, too. The other day, I was out on the Strip with my friend. We were browsing around and were wondering what's on sale at CVS. We were thinking most of the items might be a little pricey due to its location. I was passing by the make-up aisle and saw the orange stickers with 75% off on some of the products, WOW! I've heard that CVS is considered to be a private store and because of that they raise their prices a little higher than other stores. I've seen CVS had really good deals like BOGO 50% offs on makeup quite often, haven't seen sales like 75% offs on items that sell pretty well.. I got some of L'Oreal's Hip Duo Eye Shadows and Revlon's Lip Gloss in 'Lilac Pastelle"(BTW, I'm a makeup junkie). It was a random purchase but It was a good buying (saved $30) :P The clerk was really friendly and nice. I might come back to the store if I'm in the area. read more

So many reviews to write while on vacay. In Las Vegas on the Strip. There are several convenience stores on the Strip, but it seems like the Walgreens and CVS offer a better selection. This CVS is near the Monte Carlo, MGM Grand and NY NY. Good thing about it is that it is open 24 hours. They do have a decent amount of tourist souvenirs, grocery, liquor, electronics and drug store items. Though it is pretty pricey. Jacked up because of the location. I did find some batteries here as my camera ran out of power. $4 for 4 store brand batteries seems high, but some others were asking for $5+ or $6+. If you need to pick up something for the trip, they have a nice aisle of sample/travel size items. Though no sunscreen. Either remember to bring some, go off the strip to buy some or try the Walgreens across the street. Found some store brand sunscreen which was fine. Not much to say about CVS other than it is convenient and open 24/7. read more

I'm a local and my reviews are written for the local in mind. With that said - holy moly, if you live here, go off of the Strip to purchase anything, even if that means getting in your car to brave traffic. This place is re-donk-u-lous with their pricing because they can gouge tourists. Went here last night (6/29/11) with my friends Jerry J., Matt B. and Gracie C. to get some drinks with our pizza (which we were carrying) from the Cosmo. At 11 PM, this place was a mad house - the lines were 10 deep and people were scurrying about like a hurricane was coming in. We considered getting alcohol but there was no way I was paying $12 for a 6 pack of crap beer. Jerry, Matt and I were all parked at various casinos so we couldn't really walk all the way back to drive off the Strip to get moderately priced drinks. We settled on 4 beverages, each 20 oz: club soda, cream soda, root beer and a diet Pepsi. What I was charged when I picked up the bill: close to $8. Uh...gurrrrl puhleeze. At least I know to start packing drinks in case of an impromptu get together in the future so I won't have to get my head ripped off here. read more

This CVS is amazing. It's a huge store with everything a normal CVS would carry. I worried they would have higher prices than normal, but I was wrong. Everything was nor prices and very reasonable. They had a whole aisle of sunscreen, liquor, beer, wine, pool toys, and regular dug store items. They have a drop in clinic if you have health problems. Customer service was great. They even had people coming around asking to help (and prevent theft). Located right next to the Park MGM hotel. read more

Stopped here for bottle waters, meds and travel shampoo cause I forgot mine. The staff was friendly and they have a bit of everything. For 2 6 pack of 24 ounce waters, miralax, travel shampoo & conditioner, & gummy worms was $21 compared to the $11 for two bottles of water at the hotel. I didn't check prices of the souvenirs or much else but just based on the water prices it's worth it to make a stop for bottles water to keep in your hotel if all the circulated air dries you out like it does me. Grab a lyft or taxi back to your hotel room for easier transportation of the water. Overall I'm sure I'll be back before the end of the trip. read more

Even though this CVS is probably more expensive than your local CVS, this Vegas option is a convenient shop when you forget something or need to replenish. This CVS location is right next door to the Monte Carlo and the perfect spot to run to for forgotten items such as bath items and bottled water. 1 large CVS brand of water ($1.63) and I was set for the evening. In addition, they have a large variety of snacks (a friend of mine purchased a popsicle for dessert) and typical Vegas souvenirs for the so inclined. This location is open 24 hours. After stumbling through Treasure Island in a drunken stupor and needing some cash from a non-ripoff ATM, I happened upon this CVS attached to the TI front casino area. Once inside, even in my condition I noticed that the store was amazingly well lighted, and the shelves were fully stocked and arranged as perfect as perfect could be! I actually don't know how new this CVS is, but it was new to me at least. It could have been here for a while, not sure to be honest. Staff was very, very friendly, and this wasn't some half-inventory CVS either. It's the real deal, trust me. Overall I would have to say this is THE nicest CVS I have ever seen. It is an investment to get to this CVS if you're on the opposite side of the street. There just are not enough pedestrian walkways, dammit! But the prices here are much friendlier on the wallet than those at Walgreens. Yes, I wasted 15 minutes of my life wading through people and long wide streets to get here without knowing if the time and energy would be worthwhile, but I was glad I did. Yay my frugality! I saved a few bucks! :3 The lines are not as painless and efficient as the Walgreens' lines, but whatevs. Bought a 20 count pack of earplugs for $4.19, a pack of CVS brand pretzels for $0.99, 2 packages of 10 count generic brand granola bars at $1.59 each, and 2 turkey and cheese pita sandwiches at $3.99 each. Giant CVS, has all your basic necessities, open all the time. Definitely go here over a casino sundries store. Cheaper and easier. You can stock the room with bottled water if you need too. You might be asking, why the eff am I reviewing a CVS? This CVS is massive. It is really centrally-located to a lot of things, so there is always hustle and bustle happening.... yet, the store is always clean and bright! Compared to other places on the Strip, the prices aren't THAT bad. It's the Strip. You should know you're going to have to pay a lot - that can't be changed. The sales associates do a good job corralling the rowdy herds of customers. I have seen them help (very) inebriated patrons figure out how to use the self-checkouts in their drunken stupors. There is often a sales associate near the lanes to make sure people aren't cutting in lines and to help move things along. I love that I can go in, grab a bottle of water, and be out in less than sixty seconds if I move fast enough. Sure, I wouldn't come to the Strip just to visit a CVS. I'm a dork, but not THAT much of a dork. However, if you're down there, it's an easy place to get in and get out with what you need. read more

Everything in Vegas is expensive. If you haven't figured this out yet you will soon. I came to this location to get some cash from the Chase ATM. Not only do they have this but they also have the tap to pay at checkout. They have self checkout for about 8 total customers 4 on each side as well as plenty of clerk serviced checkouts. Water and Gatorade are expensive but necessary in the hot and dry dessert of Las Vegas. Be sure to hydrate early and often. read more

When I cost vegas I go from the airport strait to cvs. Get my booze pick up my sodas some extra products that I missed or didn't want to carry on the plane. My visit to this location was great. It's mainly self checkout so you don't have too many lines unless it's like rush hour and all kinds of people are getting water and what not.. They have security sometimes so you will feel safe and be able to walk around with no worries . read more

Large CVS store with a crap ton selection of alcohol, souveniors, and necessities. Had to run in here for some quick sunscreen so picked up a can of CVS brand spray sunscreen which worked quite well. Prices are a bit higher in this CVS compared to other CVS's around the country, but what can you expect. You're on the strip, so its a tourist trap for people like me. Two downsides: 1. no weekly savings that the other CVS's around the country have. 2. Not as much of an alkie selection as the Walgreens across the street. TIP: for cheaper souveniors, I'd go to that Grand Canyon store located on the right side of the road if you're walking from the MGM to planet hollywood. read more

Pros: They have everything at any hour of the day. Prices were reasonable, considering location. Cons: None that I can think of. Went here after coming in late to Vegas. I wanted to eat and originally was thinking I'd stop by the hotel cafe, but when I saw CVS I figured I'd get a sandwich. I had quite a selection. Sandwiches, soups, ice cream, crackers, fruit, you name it. Plus all the other stuff you forgot to take--toothpaste, shampoo, etc. Very wide selection of everything. And it was priced pretty much like the drugstores back home. I don't know why the TI even bothers to stock toiletries in their hotel store if they're going to have their exits feed directly into the CVS. read more

This place gets busy with tourists, so prepare to wait in line, and fight for your place because some people don't get the line formation for the cashiers (one main line for each section of registers). You can get pretty much anything here, even hard liquor. Prices aren't that steep, either. My only gripe is that the maximum cash back amount you get when paying with a debit card is $20. I hate paying extra fees when withdrawing from a hotel ATM, so I usually go to a CVS to get cash back. I guess you could go through the line a bunch of times to get more cash, but it's certainly a bitch when they're busy. read more
